We have hard water in my area of the country. So we mix the Woolite with distilled water. It's a very small extra price to prevent depositing nasty hard water minerals on the vinyl. Having said that, we usually use the Ezy Breeze cleaner. A little goes a long way and considering the cost of the Ezy Breeze windows, anything that keeps them looking good for as long as possible makes sense to me. We use microfiber cloths that are used to clean and polish cars. They work great.
My eze breeze windows are on a porch in constant sunlight. I worry about the vinyl yellowing and brittleness with time due to UV rays atomizing the plasticizors. Does the manufacturer's cleaner have UV protection? I bought a marine UV protectant for vinyl, but it also leaves a residue which mostly buffs out when dry. It also says never use glass cleaners or "all purpose" cleaners like Fantastic or Simple Green. Do not use ammonia, alcohol, acetone, or any petroleum-based solvents. Do not "protect" the vinyl with wax or with products containing petroleum distillates or silicones.
I watched two videos and you never demonstrated how to wash them! Telling is not teaching-hands on is the key. Do we let the Woolite or cleaner sit for a bit? Is it safe to spray and wipe? I don’t want to mess this up!
That's because the cleaning part is like normal. The SPECIAL SAUCE here is the type of cleaner and the rag. Otherwise, clean like normal. As Master Miyagi might say, "Spray on, wipe off".

This is Dave, the actor from the video and the owner's son. Thanks for adding that info! Very helpful.
@@streamsofincomebydrdave You are more than welcome. 😊

I went to your website and can’t find the product you suggested for cleaning vinyl windows.
Can you use dawn to clean them?
I've never tested Dawn on them, so I wouldn't recommend it. Stick with the Woolite for a cheaper soap alternative.
