"How did Hera survive?" The same thing I said in my other post. Hera has been playing very intense 1 v 3,4,5, and even 6 player games, which have massively increased his creativeness and ability when defending his positions and countering in other areas simultaneously. He has been forced to multitask at a level that just doesn't happen when playing a 1:1 game... even against a pro. His game is really elevated as a result.
2:06:49 Once converted villagers change profession, they lose all stats from before the conversion and get the same stats as the villagers from the courent player's villagers. It happens because when they change profession, it is as if they just were created by the player that controls them. The same is true for Rathas when they change weapons, monks when they drop/pick relics and trebuchets when they pack/unpack. Or any other unit that transforms that might appear (the mounted konnik dieing and becoming the dismounted konnik doesn't, for some reason).
Liereyy should've gone for Slingers the instant the Throwing Axemen came out. The issue is that his unit composition couldn't do anything against them.
Part of what has improved Hera's game is him playing multiple people for $ all the time. He plays 1 v 3,4,5,or6 depending on the ELOs. He loses a good deal of them but he wins a good deal as well. Because he puts himself in really disadvantaged positions by being out-populated and playing so many people at the same time, he has massively increased his defense and reflexes when dealing with situations. One pro can make things chaotic and crazy, but you get 4 1500 ELO players together hitting you from every angle and it is a whole new kind of chaotic and crazy. And Hera has been doing this for some time now. I think it just exercises you in ways that are beyond what you get just playing another pro. Even Hera says he thinks his game has improved as a result. You can tell. Some of the things that Hera has to fight off in these games are super intense, and Hera doesn't just go down without a fight. He has been trying to find ways to balance the fairness out to give him a chance to win. Recently, he has tried having an extreme AI partner. The AI was useless, then he just tried 2 extreme AI and one was useless and the other was ok for a while but became useless.
I think this does damage for Hera's gameplay. His reflexes predicting what enemies will do is off. Mangonels units and decisions are all teaching him bad habits
Great cast, ggwp. Game 5 is why water games can be really exciting. Lierey is one of the few players on the planet that can force Hera to play messy and crafty at once.
enjoyed warlords tourney the only thing I didn't like was all the water maps made for a lot of game skipping for me but each to their own! thanks for covering it t90
I have a foolproof plan for beating Hera. Step one: Scout his town center. Step two: try to delete his town center. Maybe by some strange glitch it will work. Who knows? Step three: Wall up your whole base and prepare for the worst. Step four: Find out where Hera is playing from. Step five: Send someone to disconnect his Internet. That's your only chance
Dont crash yet babe, 2AM hc5 rematch just dropped.
lol

Coming home from a soul-sucking job and going through a divorce. Just wanted to say thanks; your content makes me smile

1 last video before i go to sleep,
The video :
PIKES AND SPEARS LETS GOOOOO
There has to be a bug because there were so many instances of army units standing by and not attacking or completely ignoring other enemy units.
@1:57:00 Daenerys forgot about the iron fleet moment.
I can’t believe he complained that Hera didn’t use auto farms 😂😂
The unfortunate map seeds just happen a bit too often, but if you make it more safe it would also become boring.
Great set, great casting, and great appearance by @FlorryworryCog. Is _ggs wp_ really a mistype or does it mean good game(s) well played?
I think they were laughing about him accidentally typing a single G first, then followed it up with the right thing to say.

I always eat and drink during the game otherwise after 45m performance will go down.
Liereyy is too leery lol
We need to love Hera more man
Feel like LC needs a small nerf
