You see, killbots have a preset kill limit. Knowing their weakness, I sent wave after wave of my own men at them until they reached their limit and shut down.
18:35 "We're not producing quite enough yet" 19 reactored rax are pumping out more than 2 marines per in-game second, the extra 3 pushed it to nearly 2.5. Brannigan would be proud
YESSS. I don't think it gets realised enough that doing a challenge like this actually doesn't get old over time. There are so many variables and different responses to what your opponent is doing and so many different ways to position your units. So many different orders that you can take your upgrades in etc etc.. I never tire of watching a mass marines challenge and all of the example games that come with that
let me help the captain out with some basic math: in game 1 at 21:32 you had 19 rax with 18 reactors. that's 19 + 18 = 37 marines per production circle.
love mass marines! i like going cc first, into 4 rax per cc, adding add ons later, so gas is never an issue and production can double later on. that sets a nice build pattern to always build 4 rax with each new cc. add ons become optional. only 1 tech lab for combat armor and stim :D this mineral intensive infrastructure helps dictate when to add a factory, and armory for the second engine bay and to move on to +2+2, off of 1 gas! medivacs are for grandmasters! :D move move move, deny deny deny expansions, constantly expand then lose to mass tanks lol you have 8 expansions or more for their 2 or 3, so you can afford alot of negative trades. also the dispersed rax over all expansions helps keep production when forced to defend or concede a few expansions. and act as buffers for the cc, and allow for split rally points to have multiple angles of attacks without medivac micro its akin to pick up 52 in card games, where you throw the pack and they pick it up. here we pick up all the minerals on the map and throw them at our opponents, with no coherent strategy except blunt force trauma lol
I'll never forget running into Dragon back when he was smurfing in gold league. (This was ~2015, Gold was more like high Plat is now) Just 6 rax after 6 rax after... I think I may have killed 2 units 😂
18:35 "I want a couple more barracks," Harstem says while producing off the infamous 19 barracks build order, haha I love the video keep it up
You see, killbots have a preset kill limit. Knowing their weakness, I sent wave after wave of my own men at them until they reached their limit and shut down.
Things that keep harstem up at night. "I should have built 3 marines, not 2"
that first tvt was real WW1 tactics
march on in boys, surely they wont expect us this time
every day is d-day

Finally, a build us mortals can't actually follow

That ending... blind prism kill. Usually I have no compassion to toss, but this is too cruel T_T
He put all his eggs in one basket 😂
Prism collosai is quite cruel too against marine only 🥴
"I think I can move across the map. I don't think I can kill him, but maybe I can scare him a little."
🤣

47:18, so anticlimactic
XD
wait a minute medivacs are not marines
SVCs aren't marines either, clickbait
@@graystone2802 The difference is that in every challange you obviously build workers and overlords.
But medivacs are combat units.
Medivacs are key marine support units. Without them marines are just expensive zerglings.
Oh hey, my favorite youtuber GiantHarstemGames has uploaded a video!
YES! Nothing like the watching the OG Terran unit show mech players who's boss! :)
What a banger of a video, you handled that like a pro. But counters are counters and what can ya do!?!? 👌💪🤷🇨🇦
This is so much fun to watch. Please consider making more :)
“Oh my Jesus!”
That last game hahaha, possibly the funniest game I've ever seen. PWND hard without looking.
"Special tactics" an oldie but a goodie
I wanted to see him drop some mules on those closely clustered sieged up tanks.
That last game was hysterical
This is playing Terran like Zerg and I’m here for it
mules drops would have worked that first game I think
You mean drop mules on the tanks to tickle them away?
@@sakesaurus to make them friendlyfire
@@МихаилЧалый-щ3ж mules wwre way more useful as a money peinting machine for marines
Marine: 50 minerals
Mule: 200 ish minerals
@@sakesaurus not sure thats true when you have 0 other tools to deal with them and only have mass marines
mass marine into accidental win. love to see it

Reminds me of the beastyqt bronze to grandmaster with just marines
Sometimes I play mass marine for the memes on ladder its banter plus I usually get BM'ed too for it.
Marines? What is this, a build order for ants?
bro thought he could talk over some clem gameplay and we wouldn't notice xd
It's beautiful man
i havent been keeping up in sc2 for a while what was that at 40:29??
that happens when the Good Lordy Lord Himself has it it with Hrastem's shit
Ace Levy from starship troopers plays starcraft now??
Now this is what I'm talking about baby!
I'll never forget running into Dragon back when he was smurfing in gold league. (This was ~2015, Gold was more like high Plat is now) Just 6 rax after 6 rax after... I think I may have killed 2 units 😂

GAMER MOMENT
Hey winter doesn't respect you, can we get a match?
Cos playing zerg here 😂
stim + blink = stink
First! (since the other comment is written by bot)
c'mon, play without medivacs. it might not be possible for a man of your caliber but you should go out like a duke for trying anyways
