Several things I have enjoyed about TTL. A different winner every season. Not the exact same players going up and down each season. And each season with some big upsets, with the final in Season 1, the relegations in Season 2, and the playoffs in Season 3. It's been really different each time and that's great.

Great tourney overall wow. I dont ever watch tourneys live but as a yt watcher it was sick. Great maps, great games, great starts, great casts, all the best personalities came out, and in the end, my favourite player for this tourney won. All around super solid and I watched it all. Keep it up T90 I don't even play this game and you made me love it dude!
The all-in Sicilian strategy has some major problems on hybrid maps where your opponent will have undisturbed food eco, or you have to invest in taking water... It will need some major revisions to be a viable strategy on maps with fish.
One of the funniest inadvertent spoilers I've ever seen from T90 is that in his thumbnail for the Grand Final he showed yellow characters, Viper being the only person who gets to pick his own colour in T90s rules. Probably not a surprise, but a funny thing nonetheless.
Amazing Final, can't wait for another event of this quality. Such amazing players! The AOE II scene is only getting better, I would never have thought i would still be playing and watching games of Age of Empires 25 years after I first discover it at 11 yo, on my old Windows98 set up, way back in 1999...THX to all the AOE lovers out there! ;)

When they talked about bringing in youpudding for a cocast, i think that would actually be a great idea, not for casting a whole tournament, but if t90 covers anymore you pudding style games, or any evolutions of it, id love to hear youpudding discuss his thoughts and observation of how a game plays out, like if the person is doing it "wrong" or if someone is adding in a useful new tweak to it.
this is a fun fact, the distance to chase something is usually smaller than the distance of the thing being chased. If Runner A is running from Runner B, the distance of Runner B could be equal to Runner A if they follow the exact same path. but if they see any place to get to Runner A faster by taking a more direct path, they will be running a shorter distance. HOWEVER, as you get closer the chance of a more direct path existing shrinks.
Great final for a great tourny. I love the league format and how it gives such great opportunities to lower ranked pro players to show how good they really are.
Finally finished watching S3 after getting through about 1/2 of all uploaded gold and platinum games. Some highlights for me were: MBL cocast, top tier Daut games, Viper and others adding unique strategies in the finals. I usually watch games while washing dishes at night. Now onto hidden cup.
I really feel like building a castle under a donjon (or even a tower) should never be a viable strategy. I don't know how it can be balanced to not make tower rush op, but it needs a change imo. Perhaps just a really dumb and simple change like "villagers building castles or TCs take double damage from towers"

Regular Wheel Farms around Mills & T.C.s are so much more beautiful... and I generally always make them that way for myself. Also 8% of farm now, it switched from 10% just after I joined earlier this year.
The more I watch Hera, the more I believe that choosing a meso civ against him is suicidal. His light cav play really exploit the sluggishness of meso civs, making eagles look like fools. The 5th game is too similar to the semi-final where Hera's light cav play destroyed Mr.Yo's meso pick.
What hera did raiding with monks was geneius. I've never been a pro at this game but Ive always said for years somone needs to start raiding with monks, they provide healing and convertions!
Another great season. If I could make a suggestion for the next, it would be to randomly ban half of the civs at the beginning of every group stage draft. I understand that this would interfere with prepared strategies, but it would be a better test of player skill, knowledge, and creativity, and far more enjoyable to watch when there are two hundred games to cover.
Andy beat the champion… just saying 👀 great season of ttl, it may have ended with the usual top players but seeing Andy, Daniel and Barles get to top 12 and Andy top 8 was a fresh change and great hope that other players are closing the gap at the very top
t90 be calling hera out for not preparing in an earlier set... when I joined his lobby for a 3v1, during gold league, ttl spiral was the initial map left up. bet he was working poles at that time. #savethebestforlast

in game 2 viper never got bodkin and bracer. That seems sketchy to me in post imp alone for defensive buildings. Do y'all think I overvalue these techs, or viper forgot?
@@--SPQR-- Really? Awesome! ... Well, my SPQR Ancient Roman Republic friend, I haven't paid attention to AoE2 since Hera hit 2.8k (Hey, life gets in the way), but I managed to get somewhat caught up on TTL3.
Same story in pervious tournaments, finishes 2nd or close to 2nd (usually to Viper) but then redeems himself and wins the nest season. Happened in KoTD, Hidden Cup, and now TTL. He's arguably the best player on the world today.
Please leave the team colors and the trees alone. I love all that you do but its nice to see something other than Red or Blue. (unless you are The Viper for some reason who gets yellow) Those tiny pines are great if you are playing, but if you are watching it just makes things more generic . Otherwise love the content.
Please don't use the ugly tree mod when casting. It makes a pretty game look bad. It's one thing to use it whilst playing for a competitive edge, but we're just watching people play so it seems like an unnecessary compromise visually
