LOL at 15:40 I must comment that he was asked about this in an interview in spanish with Nacho AOE, and he said it was accidental, he was just going all in with the crossbows and the catapults shot above him. He's a pretty honest and cool guy.
Ive finally been able to tune into one of your streams over on twitch, I have to say it was a whole new experience, glad all the games are being posted on UA-cam, tho idek how I'm gonna catch up lol😅
Game 1 was close, Sebastian came on top in the end. That game 2 was unfortunate, Vinch lost 6 cows and it is difficult to recover from it. Game 3 insane strategy from Vinch, flawless execution and comeback from Vinch.Overall Sebastian was quite ruthless including in final game where he ultimately defeated Vinchester. gg wp!
16:00 As an amusing note: the term Soccer isn't from the US. It originated in Oxford, England. They shortened Associated Football to Assocc and added -er (because it was popular thing to add to shortened names in the 1800s) turning it into Assoccer. Then later shortened it further to Soccer, which is what they called it when they introduced the sport to the US. Later Football became the universally shortened term in Europe. But the US only ever knew it as "Soccer" so never had a reason to call it anything different. So everyone can blame Oxford for the name. But either way it's still a shortened version of "Association Football" the same way Football is. It just shortened it a different way.
Did T90 say they set hidden cup up so that players knew who was on the other side of the bracket so they could train with them?.... around the 51 min mark.
yes, that's the only way a player can train with other top 16 players without worrying if they will face eachother in the same bracket and know the strategies
As an Australian, anyone who cares about the discussed sport, call it football. It's only referred to as "soccer" when clarifying "which" "football" you are referring to (as we also have AFL, NRL, Rugby Union).
Regarding game 1: ... You could spend 1400 + 700 (?) on paladin or you could research chemistry and totally counter everything being made with hand cannoneers. I don't get why he didn't. As the Franks you have the goods to get rid of skirmishers, surely?
Yes, or he could have switched into the good ol' throwing axemen. But decided to make frank skirmishers in imp after avoiding them the whole of castle age lol
@@jacywilson TBH i don't really understand throwing axeman's position in frankish imperial composition. They don't do anything better than hand cannoneers except to counter skirmishers (and i guess rams?) but the Franks should be using their cav for that purpose anyway. Their only real benefit as I see it is that you can mass them much earlier and they share attack upgrades with cav.
@@Naxhus2 hand cannons I think are probably the better choice but throwing axemen are cooler and as you mentioned situationally better. Yes, better vs skirms and a bit tankier in general also better at destroying buildings. So they have their uses. They are really really good against eagles when fully upgraded. Better than hc minus the range. Of course he could always try to switch back into arch or plumbed archer thats why I say HC is probably better overall
@@Naxhus2 also axe men are much cheaper on gold compared to HC. 25 Gold vs 50. and you're already teching into melee attack upgrades for your knights usually so you only need to worry about getting infantry armor which are pretty cheap and the unique tech. The gold cost of HC is ultimately why i think he chose to make skirm, because he was worried about not having enough paladin
@@Naxhus2 but you are right that axemen do seem overall inferior to HC. But sometimes its really nice to have that extra armor and HP. HC are kind of glass cannons , and very expensive on gold. Frank hc don't even get the ring archer armor so they'll die to archers pretty quickly too
@@solorollo9756 Are you suggesting Marg is the "lowest common denominator"? Also the farm placement shift-queuing was appealing to Viper, he's clearly not a LCD. Viper's a prime number bro. Lol

His ability to chill is insane
Margougou is quickly one of my favourite co caster. Really good insight
I love that this game always has a lot of variety!!!
Sebastian taking the vill lead near the end of game one was just insane for how long and how far he was behind on that.

Bro you should apologize to Marg for 40:01
sound's like he was stopping him from saying something that'd get either the stream or rec. pulled

T90 i love you to death but sorry dave is a smart guy and knows as much as you about aoe maybe more.
Spoiler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the agression of game 5
Cumins!
Australia calls it both soccer and football, depends how bogan you are.
It depends whether you watch the various codes of football or just soccer.
