Nice, Been wanting to do the same thing with my 4 wheel drive blazer chassis was going to cut the frame weld 4 wheel drive frame together with 2 wheel drive chassis. But the you guys did the Conversion is Easier. Thanks awesome video 👊🏽
Hey guys looks great. My son and I are in the middle of our conversion. We got the crossmember and wheels in. Do we just use a the stock steering gear box and pitman.
Very nice Job! Question that I have, What year of the truck did you used for the 2whl suspension ? So I could start looking for a donor vehicle. Thanks you guys are doing a good job.

the donor was a 85 silverado!
Mine's a _real_ '73 CK5 full top 2WD.
nice!!! ey what size are the wheels
22x9
Do you happen to have all the part numbers for the 6 lug conversion. I cant find it.
CP4R-6 are the front conversion rotors. the rear is a stock 4wd
Did you guys use the same rear differential it had as a 4x4?
sure did!
@@BestDamnShopAround another question lol did you guys have to replace the brake lines at all?
Seen a Hamilton County tag on the k5.. are yall local? I'm in ringgold and in the middle of 2wd swapping my k5. Great videos!!
We are from Gainesville/Athens Ga. The K5 was purchased out of Chattanooga. Good luck on your swap!
What’s the wheel/tire size? And who makes them. Really dig the progress
22" GM factory Transport Wheels
Hey man thanks so much. The wheels are factory GM transportation 22x9 wheels. The front tires are 265/40 and the rears are 285/35
Can you lower it if you keep it 4x4? I have an 84 k5 but can't find any kits to lower it?
there's no kits for lowering a 4x4 square body that I'm aware of, probably due to frame clarence and steering geometry.
With the 2wd swap can you still use your factory front clip?
yes!
@@BestDamnShopAround awesome thanks
What is the update on this project, I’m planning swap my truck
ive been collecting parts, update coming soon!
Where's the 3rd part
right here!
@@BestDamnShopAround Where's part 4?!? ha
What drop do you have on it
Can you send me the teplet I want to do the same on my 1984 4x4 Blazer
i would if i still had it! honestly just measuring the wheel base, making sure its square, and marking the holes is all i would do next time!
What year & model was the donor truck?
It is a 1985 Silverado.
SQUAT IT🤣
