I have wanted to 2dr conversion one of those gm cars , Chevy , Buick , Oldsmobile or Caddy for years .the side view would be insane with the window frames painted black and windows tinted in limo , it would give the illusion that the top was floating from a distance

We had a 59 4drhdtp baby blue. When we got it noone had ever sat in the back seat. It had fingerhuy clear seat covers with little gold stars. There was an alarm on the speedo. One time when my dad was going to a football game in Healdsburg he had the alarm blowing all the way up the 10I. I was in the band , so I was on the bus. A freind and his family were with him, so I got to hear about it. Evidently it would go faster than the highest setting on the alarm. That was 110mph.

I've always been told they're called "nail heads" b/c the actual valves are 90º upright like nail heads.(Well, the retainers ON the valves look like nail heads.)

Did y'all use dually front rotors? Did they bolt right up or did y'all have to change out a bunch of stuff for it to work on the 3/4 front suspension?

I have a 1966 C10 Fleetside long bed that I'd like to restore to its former glory. Unfortunately, there is no bed board or rails left. Your video shows some light to my restoration of my truck, but I have questions about the thickness of the bed boards. I'm told 3/4" is the minimum. What do you suggest?

The chevy 210 is prob my favorite build so far and I'm a ford guy at heart lol, but the f100 and the c10 dually are def in the top 5

1953 was the 50th (Golden) anniversary for Buick. All '53 models had the new nail head V8 engine, with the exception on the Special. The Skylark, Roadmaster, and Super models had the V in the hood ornament and the wheel covers had a large V on them. The low cost Special did not have the V in the hood ornament nor did it have a large V on the wheel covers (hub caps). It retained the Fireball straight eight engine that Buick used for many years. Beginning with the '54 models, all, including the Special came with the new V8

And love to watch your builds My favorite is the F 100 I love how you molded both the vehicles together out of old truck and a modern day car. Fantastic Me and my son watch all your videos. It doesn't have a choice. I'm a mechanic that's disabled, so I don't do much LOL.

This series has me rethinking my plan to just swap the IFS and engine. I may have to do the full body swap.
