You know, I want to hate that weevil won since it means more bad storyline stuff, but I got give respect to the man who took down Plasma and turn-two won with PUGM. I knew in the finals that the worse thing against Pegasus was piercing due to toon goblins with kingdom, but that ending was still clutch.
I just genuinely don't know what to say except thank you for the amazing tournament so many ups, downs, and upsets. there's plenty of happy endings with the end of the reign of D. I'm happy that joey managed to get a happy ending despite the sisters having to take the knee. And tea getting out that early hurt. But eh also just a funny observation if Pegasus didn't summon the germ and sacked the goblin instead he likely would've won.
I have a feeling that SOL Seekers is connected to the Society of Light. Along the fact that Dartz is too operating in this universe, this means there could be a battle between the Orichalcos and the Light of Destruction.
I don't care about the fact that Kaiba lost round 1. Putting in that strong of a showing against *The D* in *his own tournament* should earn him some points.

Just finished binging the tournaments that are up now, and I gotta say they're all really solid and fun. Weevil winning this one is definitely a surprise, but atleast it's not The D or Daigo. Could've been far worse...Although this is definitely leading to some Orichalcos stuff in the future. I'm looking forward to what comes up next. That final duel really felt like a true anime moment, with both being very near defeat and it being capable of going either way.
You know...something funny about seal is that it only destroys special summoned monsters you control if its activated. So, if seal is placed on the field and not activated, your special summoned monsters should be safe. The reason why i'm saying this, is because weevil has a perfectly ultimate great moth fusion retrain, and if he uses something like how did dai get here? To place seal on the field, his fusion will be safe. He's still locked out of the ed though. Gotta love rulings, am i right?
im more sad that tanka lost round 1 most of all but i guess can say is good and what he needs to add to his deck from the case of weevils deck since he too is a insect duelist so honestly bugs are proving themselves along, i know this tournament is 3 months old but going through them all start to current shows insects are really good when used well.
So i wonder if bandit keith would use the cards he used in yugioh r in one of these tournaments? No joke, he litteraly used the wicked eraser. (Mind uou, i think it was a copy of the wicked eraser if i remember correctly, but details...)

@@CasualCooper whew! That's a load off my mind. Even if Ra is (arguably) the weakest God Card, it makes me feel a little better that someone like Daigo(who's just a jerk) has it instead of Dartz(who's a real Psycho)...
Kaiba was so close. i think he could have beaten most in the first round but he was just unlucky in dulling the D in round one. but at least he nearly beat him so it shows Kaiba is getting better. Joey getting top 8 is a great placement for him. i think his deck isant at top 4 level yet, but if he gets to be a pro from this tournament, i think his deck will get the upgrades it needs to improve. plus he can now help his sister a lot more. Tea and bakura was such a plot twist. i can't wait to see how Wevel does as king. I'm guessing he helps set up the oricalcos stuff. finally, Kane looses the puzzle (and i think the dark magision?) so hopefully we will be seeing the true king coming back soon. i hope the next time we see Kane, he tries to remake his gange, but they kick his ass for leaving them behind. i bet unlike him, they kept up with the game a bit better for the minor league. while he might not have won, i think Tanaka is going to be very popular on the island just for going and because an insect user just became king.
@CasualCooper ya, unlike the other tournaments, this one feels like he should have done much better. Maybe the next time we see him, he'll get to the top 8 at least, lol.
@@CasualCooperit's cards that if someone were to run it they would usually run terraforming and cyberspace(I might have forgotten the name for it but both field spell searchers) however it makes more sense lore wise to have them just run multiple copies
OK so in duel links, the vagabond is a duelist in red that shows up and you duel them. The Vagrant is the duelist in blue that you purchase. Vagrant also gives out extra Exp.

As an irl deck builder the potential with the mod and a great announcer/commentators is almost limitless, from there would have to make shorts to show the highlights...heck you could even run bets on who will when the tournament
We really need to give it up to Weevil here, he totally earned this victory and how. He beat Keith (top 10), Marik (Former finalist), The D (Former Champ), Koyo (Former top 2/current top 11) "Also holy shit at that 2 turns final round", and Pegasus (Former finalist) to get there after being viewed as a darkhorse going into this, I'm here for this Orichalcos era.

Late to the party but got to say this is one of my favorite line up for a tournment yet. I'm hoping either Bright, Joey, Tanka, Tea, or Chump Daddy takes it.
I love that I got a ton of Iconic duelists like Seto Kaiba, Aster Phoenix and Maximillion Pegasus, but you got Bright, Tanaka and Chump daddy in your top 5.
Watching Kaiba try to get back to the top in this series is like watching Team Rocket try to catch Pikachu.
He really does look like he is going to do it every time and then just blasts off.

That tourney was just complete chaos, but I enjoyed just about every upset it had.

Yeah. Insects seem to pack a punch and Tanaka is great in low-mid tier tournaments but pro tourneys are the top of the top

OMFG!!!! Weevil vs Pegasus was SSSOOOOO fucking hype. Love both their decks. Toons are like 4th favourite archtype. But cannot beat the queen.

Also Tanaka is taking note on those Insect cards. I know that duel academy is restricted on them but he might be able to get some of the better ones.
Tanaka must feel bittersweet. Seeing an inspiration finally win the big tourney, but to be powered up by heinous and exclusive cards.

multiple orichalcos dont matter, only 1 can be played per duel
you run multiple to increase your odds of drawing it.
