Fun fact about the tip toe shoes in TWoC: They don't actually let you walk on top of nitros, only ones that are specifically coded as such. There are nitros in one level that you can walk onto and they will explode.
I know it's dumb but as a kid I used to try to get around the gates in the time twister because I was bad at video games and couldn't beat some of the stuff in world 4. Seeing someone clip into world 5 like that made my inner child happy.
My favorite part about this video is the little 'what if' edits. They must've been a decent amount of work for only a second or two of footage, but it adds so much
I can only imagine how much time went into the strategies of getting past Warp Room 3, that whole thing about basically breaking the game to get into Warp Room 5 was really smart
Hey just FYI, you actually *can* still activate the boss level if you get too many crystals with the gate clip glitch. You have to do a very precise slide jump that barely activates the boss button without the level button. It sucks, but yeah, it's possible. Source: I'm a Crash 3 NST speedrunner
I think Naughty Dog's thought process was to give a natural replayability to levels without it feeling forced. There is the gem you get by not hitting a single box, in a bery early level. That instantly puts in the mindset for a player to try to do that with every level. Then with the introduction of powers in the third game, it really cements in your head to try to go around different obstacles differently with new powers, especially with the time trials. Also, Naughty Dog sort of secretly reminded you in even the side scrolling parts, this is a 3d game. The Naughty Dog games always felt like they had their box placement be more organic if that makes sense?
I would honestly be fine with attempts at future games with the disclaimer that it's not possible as a whole but certain levels are possible. I enjoy the level breakdowns you do.

Amazing & just as great as the previous one, was so glad to have this notification! As an alternative challenge; I wonder if it would be possible to 100% Crash 3 Warped with all superpowers disabled? (Maybe even with only the Crash 1 move set?)
100% isn't possible, since the Bonus Levels require Tornado Spin jumps. Any% Crash 1 Moveset Only though is something that I've already done successfully.
It's as if UA-cam knew you were making another of these, apparently I'm not the only one that the Crash 2 video popped up for recently. Fun videos, keep up the good work. As for the other Crash games, if you deem them impossible, go a slightly different way around it and instead see how many levels you can beat under the everything is nitro situation, should still be interesting that way since it'd also give reason to go after bonus/hidden levels.

If I'm not mistaken I'm pretty sure the idle animation of Coco's phone exploding is an "inside joke" between developers because one of them had purchased the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 new and it unfortunately suffered a serious battery malfunction during development of the NST and exploded because those phones had a serious fault and got recalled...
I still would prefer an ignition crate at the end of each level. I guess manually going through levels to try to get crates with a bazooka is still a viable option.
Love all these weird eccentricities of the game you find when everything is Nitro. Like the challenge is great but it’s as interesting to me to see how the game reacts to things that shouldn’t happen

this is the first time i come across your channel from this video and the one before, i didn’t know about your channel before, i didn’t expect the videos to be this good when i clicked it like damn bro don’t raise the bar too much for the rest of the creators, and the amount of effort you clearly went through making this video in the montage and experimenting and trying to beat the game this is actual original content, i watched both videos continuously, an hour and a half have passed and it felt like 20 minutes, hats off man keep up the good work.

I don't think so sadly... Twinsanity has a lot of parts that are sets of crates you need to bounce on to progress and if they are all Nitros, that auto blocks you. There's also a lot of places you have to detonate the Nitros to progress and it the Nitro Detonator crates are also Nitros that's an instant rock block.
@@seansyguy Sure, but there's the issue about places the game spawns you in a checkpoint. That's insta death. Also, you can't beat N. Gin as the Nitros won't detonate, etc... Sure, you can glitch about it, but then, are you really beating every level?

You'd be screwed when it comes to the monkey bar sections because there's not going to be ground to stand on to shoot all the time.

The incredibly broken Crash Twinsanity might be plausible, actually it might be the easiest one with the glitches in the game
It's important to note that any damage boosting shenanigans won't be viable outside of regular enemies, since explosions are instakill in Twinsanity.

Frankly I view the nitro crates randomly having glitchy behavior as a flaw of the mod, so I'm glad you went with the bazooka solution.
