Great video. I grew up (at least physically lol) in the 80s, really basic sims, no Internet and obviously no youtube for reference. It's such a privilege to have real fast jet, airline pilots giving us this amazing insight. Something I could only dream of growing up. Thankyou so much for taking the time to do this Chris, it's endlessly fascinating to me. Thankyou!
When I was deployed to Kuwait during Operation Desert Thunder, we were at Ali Al Salam Airbase north of Kuwait City, there was a wing of Tornados based there as well. While I am a helicopter guy through and though, I can't state enough how cool it was to be up on The Hill looking down at the airfield, and watching your Tornados turn money into noise on a daily basis. This was around the same time as the 80th Anniversary of the RAF so we got our own little airshow from you guys. It was a sight to behold to see that many Tornados that low to the ground. Impressive stuff.
I was born in 1990 and every Airshow that I attended, The Tornado was my absolute favourite! To me and my family, she was the LOUDEST thing in the sky, every pass she would tear the very fabric of the air!
Always a joy to see how it's done. I worked in a photograpers in Edinburgh in the late 80's and we used to do lots of work for Ferranti's. I don't know how many photos of radar equipment we took and promo shots of Tornado's I printed in that time but it was substantial. Still love how it looks.
Awesome video. Great to see you crack 20k subs too, absolutely deserve the success.
I can't wait for this to release. It looks amazing. Great video as always !
For an added bit of realism, it would be good if when flying inverted, bits of gravel, lock wire & M&Ms could make their way rapidly to the canopy.
Awesome video. Can't wait for this, it's looking absolutely amazing.
Brilliant Chris, your enthusiasm shines through. I look forward to showing our Air Cadets your video and then seeing how they get on replicating the techniques in the simulator when the Tornado releases. Practicing the run in and break is a regular request and it's useful to have a realistic procedure to follow.
Cracking video as always Chris, it was like watching someone reconnect with an old friend. This one is already budgeted for, cant wait to get in the cockpit and suddenly realise how easy you make it look.
Another great video Chris. Cheers
Awesome video thanks for sharing! Some great flying there giving us some really useful references!
Another cracking video! Such an iconic aircraft for us Brits, spent many a day as a kid watching them at airshows so it’s awesome to see how they were actually flown 👍
That was ANOTHER superb video... thank you so much 😄👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼
Thanks Chris, I look forward to getting to grips with this.
A truly stunning model, and stunning aeroplane in the flesh. Given an ex-GR4 jockey is publishing a number of these videos says it all about that quality. Love it.
❤ Brilliant ❤ thank you. Waiting for the release
Well done Chris. Great job mate.
Great video once again, thanks.
Awesome flight! not a well-known aircraft on my part. Awesome video! 😀
