I don't mean any disrespect by this, its just an observation based on experience. It won't be funny when you're unable to defend yourself in a real situation because you are injured from training.
You are not wrong. Thank you for your comment. That's why you train with people who aren't ego-trainers (after 40 years of fight training, I've encountered my share of them), as they are injury-trainers. You have to have specific protocols and body and mind conditioning in place that ensure a safe training environment with people you can trust. With experience and a mindset of actually training to increase skills and functionality against resisting opponents, you can train at far higher levels of impact and certain environmental stimuli without incurring injury.
