Lakewood is expensive now. Miss the bull market 10 years ago
The play in Lakewood is long term appreciation, not so much short term cash flow. Think what they’ll likely be worth in another 10 years
Thanks for the update on the cities to look into buy! I’m in the process of purchasing my 1st single family rental property out In Maple Heights . I will definitely look into those areas.

Love your videos and am already subscribed! What would you estimate an updated duplex would rent for in the West Eighties neighborhood? It's an older house like most housing in that area but does have a renovated kitchen and nice floors. I close on it in a couple weeks and am still trying to gain as much insight as I can on what to rent the units for. 2/1.5 and 3/1. Also, do you see that area appreciating decently over the next 3, 5, 10 years being so close to Edgewater, Gordon Sq, etc.? Thanks guys!
Hey Jarred, thanks for the support! I'd say rough estimate for the 2 BR around $800-900 or better if its in really good shape. 3BR a little higher of course ($1000 estimated), but it all depends on location. I do think its an area to keep an eye on because its so close to the lake, downtown, etc. Is it Section 8 approved?
@@greathouseteam Okay thanks! It is not section 8. Address is 1330 W 89th if that helps with your estimates. So a couple blocks from Detroit Ave which should be a little more appealing, I think...
