Can the camera use motion detection together with time lapse?
This camera, no it is either motion or time lapse but it can't do both. However there are other cameras out there that can do both at the same time.
Can the camera operate on 120v AC?
Yes it can, I actually plug mine in most of the time as well.
Can the camera work through the glass of a house window?
It will but you will get a reflection from the glass depending on the lighting so I would not recommend it.
Yes it can but depending on how much light from the sun on the window, really you need to try it at your location.
I am looking for a trail cam to take time-lapse day and night at an interval of about 30 seconds. What's the shortest interval this camera uses? Also, do you know if there are any compatibility issues with Mac?
The lowest time lapse value on this camera is 5 seconds. I am not a Mac user so I can't directly to your question but I don't see why there would be any issues using a Mac. Hope that helps.
@@JUMBLE2015 Wow, fastest response ever, thanks. Yeah 5s is more than enough. My other hope is that it will continue to capture time lapse at night, but you already covered that. I just bought a Browning Strike Force and was surprised that it does not capture time lapse at night. Also, there is a time 20 second time limit to navigate the menu before the screen shuts down. Why? Just....why?? May give your camera a try.

@@kevinturnbow4836 I returned that camera and bought two GardePro E5 Trail Cameras. I experimented for weeks on end and found that I needed Energizer Lithium Ion batteries to get consistent night shots. That gave me about 2 weeks of photos at 1 photo per minute. Not sure if you're looking to do time lapse, but that's what I needed them for. I'm happy with the cameras and the price was good, but you have to buy SD cards separately.
I highly recommend the Ceyomur CY95, built in Solar panel and really good resolution.
thanks for the video...learned a lot. Why did you not have the camera take one image every 24 hours....if your going to dusk to dawn...need shorter interval, else you get choppy.
You are exactly right, the more images you have the better the time lapse will be (less choppy). This one I did at one a day because I planned on leaving it out for a year and was afraid the battery would not make it. Now most of mine I do a photo every 30 minutes to an hour. My version of Photos doesn’t have an option to create a video
Yeah unfortunately Microsoft updated Photos. You would need "Photos Legacy" to follow this video (it is still available in the MS app store). Maybe I can do an updated video in the future to show how to do it with a different software.
hello sir, I have a gamecam that has the TL DELAY option, and (TL START AND TL STOP) the TL START And TL STOP has a 24 hr set up that doesn’t make sense. I was going to set mine to 12:00am to 11:59pm? Is that the right thing to do?
If you are wanting to use it all day then no need to set the TL Delay. No delay will equal 24 hours. However as you mentioned setting a TL Start of 12:00am and TL End of 11:59pm short work as well (it is just not needed). The TL start and stop time option is really more for users who want to take images/videos only at certain times vs. all day. For example you just want morning shots or just night time shorts. . . or just during sunset, etc. Hope that helps and makes sense.

Yes you could set the time lapse for 24 hours (so that it is taking images/videos all day.
