We all said that about Sturgill and Tyler, but they got swallowed up by Hollywood and politics didn't they? Sadly. Still love their music, but has it stopped country's downslide into pop? Exposing the youth to these musicians is the only chance of saving "country" music. Otherwise they will get lost to Twitter, Instagram, dipshits, and posers that simply post their opinions more than others do. Social media ruined our world.

He played guitar and sang Willie,Earnest,Jim reeves,Waylon and Kris songs and this young fella makes me feel closer to my dad💙
I’ve been listening to old country for years. I’m only 28 years old but I grew up to folk country and more, this man honestly makes me happy to be from Saskatchewan. So glad to have another Johnny Cash in my generation. #ColterWallFan ❤️
Myself and the entire team appreciate you for your kind words. Thanks for the endless support and encouragement, feel free to email me share your thoughts, Thanks: officialwallcolter
So happy that my generation has produced a vestige of Outlaw Country, perpetuating one of the best North American folk traditions in a such a crucial time.
I love playing music by the old greats like Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash. I love listening to Colter and I hope I get the opportunity to meet him one day. I am 16 and really want to have a career in music one day. And if I ever do, I will be sure to name Colter Wall as one of my greatest inspirations.

I love how Country is shining forth in these times when everything else has become so inauthentic. In this age of Instagrammers, "influencers", Kardashians, etc. Country is shining boldly through it all. Back to the roots... lets go.
colters influencers were writers, musicians and artists...as it should be. no one should allow themselves to be influenced by someone that does nothing. doing so makes you shallow.
Mr. Colter, my hat's off to you, good sir! You apparently also wave the flag for traditional, country and western, where most singers nowadays leave out the "western" in country...you are the real deal, man, and I appreciate you! You're a real talent that might not ever get the full recognition you deserve! Keep up the standard bearing of REAL COUNTRY AND WESTERN MUSIC!

I wish this fella would do “I’m leaving old Texas now” it’s simple song indeed but I feel like he could do some damn good with it. Much respect and foot tappin from Temple,Texas!
Look up "Sky'd Become Teardrops" by Charley Crockett. My current favorite if his. "5 More Miles", "If Not The Fool", "A Dime At A Time", and "Saturday Satan Sunday Saint" are some great tracks that should be in high rotation on any Charley Crockett playlist but are unfortunately overlooked because he has so many greats. My Charley Crockett Spotify playlist has over 60 tracks. Every one of them could be any other artist's top single.
Love your albums. But waiting for a raw uncut version of songs like this recorded in your shop, garage, whatever. I’d be first on the list to buy that. True talent.
The original 16 sessions brought me to Colter. His story telling and songs through thevyears keep me here. Bravo young man. You do you. Keep it up. You will succeed. In this world of country pop you will reign as a king because your song is superior. Authentic. Real. My best and warmest regards to you

Reminds me of a mix between Marty Robbins and Don Edwards yet so peculiar and unique. I love it! I wish the world was filled with more folk like you... Life isnt as simple here as once was. Its more common to come across average 2 faced people than to run across someone who would help you outeven if it meant to give you the shirt of their back. I know when i come across those who listen to certain types of music as i do, it gives me a good idea of what type of person they are.
Tip of the cap. Great cover. 35 years ago when I first heard Axl rose i said no one should sing hard rock again. When I hear colter, I feel the same for traditional country. Wow
Crazy! I was just thinking about you and how i wished you'd make another video. Thanks man, you made my day. P.S. you're hands down the best modern country artist there is.
Colter is the most down to earth man. He isnt fake and mainstream, this is the man that will revive outlaw country and folk music.
Sadly too many people have bad taste for that to happen
@@bobjoe1849 I don’t think that’s true. But I understand you’re point.
No need to revive it. It never left, it just isn’t on the radio

Flashback to Lonesome Dove. "They'll be writing songs about us for a hundred years." Gotta love Capt. Augustus McCray.
Hopefully, but they'll be playing Kris 's songs for sure
Colter is a modern living legend, his music speaks to all ages and crosses genres while remaining a wholesome country brother to us all
