- In this episode we show you the last two days of our August 2022 Alaska Fishing Trip! We went to Kingfisher Lodge in Craig on Prince of Whales Island. Over the 4 days we fished the group had over 1500 lbs of fillets! I show you the crew filleting some of it and then how they Package it and get it ready to ship. Enjoy!

Nick is the only guy I know that spends his life fishing, then goes on vacation.... to fish.
Lol for real bro its awesome tho i wanna try some day
😂🙌🏻
I think this is one of your best videos. Awesome fishing and awesome whales. I love the music on your videos.
Thank you! Sara edited this one!
Your B roll footage is insanely good, really enough the drone stuff!
Thanks! Sara shot and edited it
Nick your videos are so professional now. You have become quite a movie maker. Awesome trip
Thanks for watching! Sara gets credit for the editing and drone video, as well as some of the B roll.
Nick, that kid with the mullet is your Alaskan doppelganger! 🤣🤣🤣
😂🙌🏻
Great job on this video Nick, thank you. Showing the sights while fishing, the underwater shots and filming the processing of the catch from the boat to delivery made for a very informative and enjoyable movie.
Thanks for watching Nick! Sara gets the credit for the edit and all the drone video
@@StanzFam kudos to Sara then. Hell of a team, the two of you!
Mike is one of a kind..He is one hell of a guy! Cheers mike. Another awesome vid Nick. God bless
🙌🏻
Nick, Sassy and all the family ... I hope Ian doesn't cause you any grief! Please please please be safe and well!!!
Thanks! Hope everyone is safe in its path
Shout out to Charlie aka little Chuck. And the whole team at Kingfisher. When in comes down to it , just an awesome Family run operation. Looking forward to next year already.
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
4,191 miles from Islamorada to Alaska. The southern paradise to the northern paradise.
What an epic adventure! The drone footage was stunning! Great job , Sarah. 👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks Julia!
I have two “bucket list” trips, fishing in Alaska, and lion fish in Florida. For now, best I can do is watch. Love your videos!
Hope you make it there one day! Thanks for watching
another great vid nic..all good stuff..stay safe..
Thanks for watching William!
This whole series reminds me of all the trips I’ve gone to the BC west coast to fish with my cousin over the years and sending the fish back processed to Nova Scotia! Thanks for the memories!!
Lived in Jacksonville, FL for a while and done a lot of fishing there. Moving to Anchorage, AK Wednesday. Can't wait! Will be way different than the reds, Kingfish, sharks, and specks I was catching in FL. lol
Good luck with the move!
Epic way to for your last day, trips you never forget - beautiful ❤️
Been following for a while, thought I had hit subscribe... 🤪anyway, here is one to get you closer to 200k Capt 🤙🏼
Awesome fishing. Thank you!
Thank you for watching!
Awesome video guys nice catch👊🏻👊🏻
I can use some right now, never had it sushi style, big shout out to uncle John. Thanks for sharing bro ❤
Thanks for watching!
really enjoyed this. great content.
Looks like Bud & Mary's is going to buy a new large freezer. Alaska is absolutely a bucket list trip, but so is Swordfish. They catch a few off the Virginia coast, but they are a rare catch and most captains do want to be out there at night.
Great video!!! Keep up the good work!!! Tight Lines!
What amazing beauty 😍, but just don't like the cold but if I could handle the long trip I would visit am glad to get see it thru you and your wife's eyes thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for watching Linda! I’m not a huge fan of the cold weather either
@@StanzFam 🤗
It is awsome to see the humpbacks heard the baitfish with the bubble rings then come up in them and take that big mouthful. We actually saw a roge orca make a meal out of a seal while we were there. I guess they gotta eat as well. Nick what the heck is that thing your growing? Is that a Billy Ray Cyrus special?
South Florida cracker all the way. HAHA. Just FYI it is cheaper to ship your suite cases home and check your fish boxes as luggage... shipping it is crazy for the overnight..
Haha! Billy Ray special. Thanks for watching
Awesome trip Nick, I know you had a blast!
The Mullet is lookin super rad 👍 def have to dye it or do something for when you hit 200k subscribers! That Alaska trip looks so fun & an incredible adventure! Hard to beat the shear simple beauty of that part of the world & it has so much species diversity to catch and bring home! You'll have a bunch of fillets to bring home to Florida!
Thanks! Hoping to hit 200k subs sooner than later
StanzFam, You all "Rock."
Thanks for watching !
Great series Nick. It makes me want to go to Alaska.
Thanks for watching! Hope you make it there one day
Perfect fishing
Very cool operation
🙌🏻
Awesome video btw i watch your videos everyday
Panko fried salmon is something you should try. My favorite recipe is Darcie's Sitka chicken which you can Google. Sweet chili sauce is what I use instead of the Siracha mayo sauce she has in the recipe.
Awesome. Will have to look up the recipe! Thanks for watching and commenting
I’ve done DIY trips to Vancouver island renting a boat and filleting fish in hotel bathrooms lol
Can’t get better seafood than the north west
Great trip. Love Alaska.
What an epic trip. I still struggle understand why you two don’t have more subscribers. Y’all appear super nice and your content is really fun. Wishing the best for y’all. Glad to be along for the ride.
Signed,
A loyal subscriber.
Thanks for watching! We’re working on it and hope to keep the sub count going up
Awesome!! Nice job!
Thanks for watching!

Been there twice. I miss it alot.
👊🏻
You make me green with envy I would love to Alaska and do all this, don’t think it would get back to the uk though.
HEY STANZ..,YOUR ALWAYS FUN TO WATCH. BUT ,WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO SHOW US SOME "MONK FISH" POOR MANS LOBSTER...I PROMISE.👍👍👍
Wow what a awesome trip! I love the color of the salmon. I always wanted to go for King salmon I'll get there one day if it's God's will. My gosh Nick, are we sure Florida is fish capital of the world?
I hope you see this I just was able to see your Alaska trip.could you tell me the charter you used for the halibut trip
Thanks for watching. Kingfisher lodge in Craig. Link in video description
Great video, are you gonna entertain the thought of picking up a commercial bagging machine now?
I got one ~7 years ago but haven’t used it in a while. It did go through hurricane imra. I might break it out again and see if it works well
Nick 1500 pounds of salmon are you gonna put sassy on a little stand selling sassy salmon sandwiches lol great job you guys always a great show love you both
Haha. It all got split up but we have plenty for salmon once a week the next few months
Garlic butter on a good halibut steak is really hard to beat!
Aloha, been up there seven times. Miss it. Were you able to drop shrimp or crab pots?
Wow. I’m booking a trip
Banana's for the dream 🤙🏼
Your fedex bill must have been ridiculous. Most I ever shipped was three boxes from Kenai when the reds were in thick and we also had a good halibut trip out of Homer.
Fantastic trip!! So how much Lingcod did you manage to bring home? I'm so glad you had such a great trip. I live on the Canadian Prairies but I spent two of the best years of my 20's living and working in Vancouver and diving around Vancouver Island. My favourite part of the world that I have experienced so far!
Thanks for watching. We got a few bags of lingcod , haven’t ate it yet tbh
Sounds like Vancouver was fun to be at!
@@StanzFam It was a great time in my life, I was 20 in late Oct 1990 and was out there until Midway through the year of 1992. It was a fun time with the grunge scene exploding out there and the energy was something else at the time!
Mountain sheep🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️😂😂🤣
What an “Island Boy”
Nice
Capt. Nick, good fishing video, but a little sad to see all the mullets. Billy Ray want his 1980’s mullet back.
🤣
Smoke the salmon and make fish dip 😋 nick.
Definitely want to smoke some 🙌🏻
@@StanzFam probably better than king fish lol
How bad was the cost to ship it home?
Hello from Brazil - Rio de Janeiro -
Wich camera do you use?!
We have a Sony camcorder, plus a couple go pros, and our iPhones
Ahhh your lucky bananas!
Wow someone at a company I work for told me he and wife went to Alaska and shipped back a year's supply of salmon they caught lol 🎣
im about to grill up some salmon right now. we do walleye trout salmon perch crappie and bluegill. i can get the ocean goods like you guys but its not that fresh.
Nobody cares bud
So why do the fishermen in these areas almost fish exclusively aluminum boats? Why not fiberglass?
What month did you go?
Mid august
Are there no limits ? How many salmon each do they have?
6 per person per day , very regulated fishery
@@StanzFam wow!! That’s high limits for salmon. Crazy 👍🏽
best🧐🧐🧐🖤🔥🔥🔥🎣🎣🎣
How munch dose a trip like that cost
Depends how many people are in the group , check out their site here

I would love to go catch some I heard the fight is unreal, but as for eating them👎 yuck 🤮 😂
😘😘😍😍😍😘😘😘😘😘😍😍😘😘
😀👍👍👍❤
There’s just something wrong with letting anyone harvest that many fish at one time.
اول
Nooooo. don't eat chum, they are prized for their roe, but the meat isn't the best to eat, just stick to Spring, Coho and Sockeye.
Good to know!
