Why people don't grill more in fall and winter is beyond me. So nice cooking outdoors in this weather
I use the stove inside maybe four times a year. I go through a lot of propane and smoking chips!
@ZoeKatherineProject - Grilling in the fall is great. I don't grill in the winter because I don't like being cold. That simple.
I LOVE grilling in the winter with a whiskey over ice in hand! Stubbed out a natural gas line when I built my house so I don't have to mess with propane...
I know, right? Considering the excess heat in the summer, grilling in fall and winter just seems more appropriate. Then again, there are places where it gets cold and wet, so maybe grilling is best left to the nice weather months. Still, a Thanksgiving or Christmas grill/BBQ party sounds like the best idea ever.
@@canaisyoung3601 - We just had an early thanksgiving grilling party last weekend. It was great.
*The Bearded Butchers* Bravo well done, thank-you gentlemen for taking the time to bring us along. GOD Bless.
Our pleasure!
I love your comparison videos. These are both my two favorite meats!! I have a very hard time picking between the two myself.
Glad you like them!
The cuts looked great,,after you cooked them you could see that textures and flavor of being cooked so well
I love when you guys grill/cook. That elk and bison looks so delicious! And that squash! I'm not a squash person, but yall changed me. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving! ❤
One can judge a man's character by the way he treats his animals. You gentlemen are top notch fellas. Excellent video, keep them coming!
I came across this channel by chance. Now, officially hooked! Thank you, fellas

That looks like a plate of deliciousness!!
I love your guys seasonings so good
Thank you so much, do you have a favorite!?
Just found your channel. I practiced the noble art in my village butchers nearly 3 decades ago. Brings back many happy memories. Sadly, the shop & slaughterhouse were sold off for development.
The bandsaw footage always makes me cringe. When one of those blades snaps it makes hell of a bang!
It was hard work at times, but I’m glad I had 10 years at it. A real education.👍🏻
Bandsaws help get rid of people quickly , ask the sopranos and the role of the pork store 😢
@@marioncobaretti2280 You have no idea.
Those Elk Porterhouses looked Amazing!
Oh man porterhouse is my favorite cut. What a great video. You guys are the best!

Super. Vi vuestro video sobre despiece de cerdo y no vi que iban a separar el lomo. Lomo no tiene la salida?
The butter blend is one of my favorite seasonings I’ve ever ate.
SO good!!! 🔥
Man.. I've been between Willard and Bloomville and Norwalk since yesterday, I'm SOOOOO close to Whitefeather Meats.. Sadly I was up here for a funeral and there just wasn't a chance to stop by the shop this time. I'm gonna come visit one day, mark my words lads! Fantastic! I no longer hunt. So I have not had Elk in a long time. I miss the taste. I am giving Bearded butchers spices and BBQ sauce out for Christmas. Turning my family on too Black and Brock. My favorites. Then Zesty for veggies.
We are so happy that you enjoy our seasonings, thank you for sharing them with others, we hope they enjoy them as well!! Happy Holidays!

Thank you!!
To say, "You're killing me Smalls!", just doesn't do justice!!!
Seth Perkins is my hero!
I wish I could cut meat like you guys, the grilling I can figure out !
I’ve wondered what the flavor of both Elk and Bison would taste like if each were raised using the same process as Wagyu? Would the Bison taste more similar to regular Wagyu? Definitely love the channel
Envy you guys, having access to your native animals of such quality. Im in Australia myself no wonder Jess moved over there
Well, you get to eat kangaroos and crocodiles, so there's that...........😉
That meat looks amazing.
I have a local Bison farm of which I purchase meat from and I love it, I have not had Elk though...hopefully someday!
Damn, those looked absolutely delicious! Don’t know who’s idea it was to grill some squash, but kudos to the one that did. That is the best looking squash I have ever seen on a grill, that’s 💯💯‼️
If I fire up my grill there is always some zucchini, yellow squash or bacon wrapped asparagus to go on too lol
I work at Central Market down here in Texas, we have Bison and Elk, and other exotic meats! But the Elk is very pricey but worth every cent! It's good to spend money on quality!
Also have Elk in Southern West Virginia now. Government has brought them into the area where I live. Near KY border.
Can you dry age elk, bison or wild game (deer, ect.)? Would it intensify the flavor like beef or even be worth it?
Great video, y'all had my mouth watering!! What breed is your dog? Really curious, a friend of mine had a twin to him.
Aloha. Cattle dog, maybe Australian shepherd?
I love butternut squash and cooking out.
Elk are also in Tennessee as well
Im gonna try and do some Moose ribs. What would you suggest for one of your seasoning. I should say I'm BBQ them. Generally I use the meat for sausage, want to try something different.
Can you do this with whitetail? If so could you show us start to finish?
Impressive!! 💪🏻🙏🏻
Sitting here watching video with my mouth watering wishing had some.
Question, would you be able to feed the Bison the same as the American Cow Wagu? Making an American Bison Wagu?
I’ll probably never use any of the information you guys are sharing. But i don’t care because I love listening to y’all
I"m wandering, is there a time of year that you sell more of the bison than the rest of the time of year?
Great video gents! Just curious as to whether you sell either of these cuts!!
They do. In their store only. Dont ship meat.
@@DareDog.awwww man!! Thanks for the reply!!
Another great video. You guys should come visit Benezette the Elk capital of the herd
How do I get rid of carbon monoxide in the wrap of beef? Will a blow drier get rid of it? How long do I need to air out the meat when I open a package?
You guys are blessed 🙌 I'm a meat 🍖 lover so!! God bless you again
I'm curious if the bison was grain fed or if the elk was raised domestically and grain rationed? Always interesting videos.
Amazing looking meat!
Thank you 😋
I’ve noticed on the Original and Butter rub is really salt heavy. I can barely sprinkle it on like you guys do.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃 🍁🍽
You too!!
Mmmmmm that looks so delicious
Great video and good luck on your elk hunt. I am also a hunter and filled my elk tag this year and i always process my own game and i have some incredible steaks, roast and burger. For me elk is by far the best meat i have ever had. I am from the pacific northwest and we have both elk species here with the Roosevelt elk on the west range and Rocky Mountain elk on the east range. Both are excellent but they do have a slightly different flavor and i believe this is due to the vastly different food sources. Maybe you can do a 42 day dry age elk vs bison challenge. That would be very interesting.
where is your hunt in new mexico?? i am in capitan new mexico
Damn I didn’t see the invitation in my mailbox. It must have been lost. Hahaha. Keep up the good work brother.
What hand saw do you use? I don’t see one on your website but I enjoy venison chops, porterhouses, mini T-bond from my deer. Any one you guys recommend? Doesn’t need to be huge, since I’ll be processing deer mostly! Thanks!
They recommend the meat! One. Meat your maker is the company.
I'm confused. Was this a vs video or a 20-minute infomercial for your seasoning??
Just wanted to let you know that my wife made a big pot of Vegetable beef barley soup. It didn't have enough spice for me so I added your Hot seasoning. It was perfect. Not just for meat!!
In your deer processing video you mentioned that the fat does not taste good. How does the fat of the elk and bison compare? How do they compare to beef?
No expert or foody, but I hate fat on a lean steak. I don’t even like fat on jerky…just nah. I like it lean. Many people will say that’s where the flavor is. I disagree, it ruins the flavor of the meat, takes away from the different flavor of game. Jmo🤷♂️
Where do you get your beard nets i have tu curl my beard up in the biggest i can find
Do you two have a take on CWD?
I know you boys want to sell your seasoning but I guess I'm a meat connoisseur because I can appreciate a good cut of meat with just the basics of salt, pepper and garlic powder....multiple seasonings actually take away from my pleasure of the meat product, to me less is more! But great video and the cuts were cooked to perfection!!!
Elk skinning video coming soon??
I declare both are winners!!!! 😋😋😋😋
Art.
You all should have a top 10 meat taste test blinded guess meat or favorite.
I've had Bison and Elk and they are both really good but I'm with you guys you can't beat a good Bison Steak
Just got into cooking bison can you do a video on brisket
They have one.
