As the person who suggested this challenge, I have to say this: I could have imagined dozens of ways this challenge could have failed hilariously by simp's overconfidence, but I also decided to be nice and add +1, which gave us this ultra rare checkmate, something I would have never even considered to imagine. _God damn_

I thought the challenge would be even more devious, and assume that Chess Simp would catch on to the "no challenge as long as I don't reveal". Imagine the challenge including "if you didn't reveal during the game, you have to play another game, in which you're not allowed to capture any pieces or pawns you captured during the last game".

2:11, you did not lose entire piece for free. you have Bh6+, his knight is pinned, he'll move the king, you'll Qxg8. Yes, it's his move and maybe there is some crazy way to prevent it, but even if there was, he won't find it (he can't move the knight, if he unpins with the king, he'll lose the knight instantly.. f6 will make Bh6+ Kf7 available, but after Qg7+ the knight is lost anyway (and the king as well soon)...
Cool ending with the en passant checkmate, but he could have tried to play into a blunder. Bg5+ could be mate in 2 if the opponent moves the king back to the 8th rank

I thought the twist was going to be that you revealed the challenge _before_ the start of the video and went in knowing what the challenge was. Guess that wouldn’t work here however.
Let x be "the amount of moves you have left to checkmate" "The amount of pawns you're missing is the amount of moves you've left plus one to checkmate" becomes: 2 = x + 1 x = 1 As basic mathematics show, you had one move to checkmate, not three.
The amount of pawns he was missing would be x in this case he was missing 2 pawns So 2=x Then add 1 move The equation would then be X+1 Since we know 2=x we can plug in 2 for x So 2+1 Amd unless you're using some high level strange math theory 2+1 would equal 3
