    The reason things like this happen in chess is because, at this low a level, not only do people not realise that they can take a piece, but when they DO realise, they will often talk themselves out of taking it because taking it would be "playing right in to your hands." and they're a lot smarter than that.
    This is honestly true, without any chess knowledge and with the myths of what chess is, people tend to gravitate towards mind games to try to be clever.

    This was tremendous to watch! Thank you.
    I actually understand your opponent, because I do the same thing: I'm seeing my own brilliant plan so blindingly, i don't see what's right in front of me. Granted, in my case, it means I blithely stroll onto squares clearly guarded by five opponent pieces, while your opponent simply ignores your queen standing in front of him asking him to take her. But it's the same principle.
    Anyway, thanks for another hysterical entry!

    • @arkline9937
      @arkline9937 Рік тому

      he didn't ignore the rules. only the one which was not possible. you cannot lose material without making bad moves (except exchanges which are useless in this challenge), which you can also call a blunder or a sacrifise (if it doesn't give you potential in attack or allows some tactics). how could he lose pieces without sacrifises then? by blundering? it just doesn't make any sense. and like he said in a video, there would be no way to judge if any loss of a piece was a real blunder and not a sacrifise
