Yea. they had a mechanism like that in C&C Generals. like.. when u cross 5000$ they'll launch the scud storm, so the trick in the mission was to keep your credit below 5000, Fun Good games

The bonus objective for super weapons can be completed even if the Rift Generator ends up destroyed. By capturing Drone Ship or Nod Construction Yard and building the Superweapon. Even if the bonus objective has been crossed out...doing that auto completes it.
Nice, this is actually almost identical to how I recently finished the mission. Surprisingly it is actually pretty easy, once you cap the close base you build around it and use it really as a center of operations.... holds all the alien ships at bay!
The patch made it ridiculously difficult Nod is way more fun (maybe) Well I hope we see you play Tempest Rising & Dune: Spice wars in the future when they're finished developing

Personally this mission is easier than Berne with failure of early strike at eastern base. I just used bunch of Firehawks, Rift generator, Ion Cannon after capturing southern Scrin drone platform.

Realistically, why would you listen to the treasury director? Every. Single. Choice he's made in this entire campaign has been WRONG. Ordered the attack at Sarajevo; that was costly and ended up with the loss of a lot of lives. Use the ion cannon on temple prime, it triggers a liquid tiberium explosion so massive it summons the scrin in the first place. Use the ion cannons on the incoming scrin ships, they split up into multiple smaller ships and spread out across the planet And now he wants me to use a bomb filled with liquid tiberium, the stuff that got us into this whole mess in the first place, at THE ground zero of the whole tiberium infestation, probably THE most tiberium infested area on the whole plamet? I mean that's just mental. Ion cannon on liquid tiberium created a big enough of an explosion to cover most of eastern Europe. Liquid tiberium on THE source of tiberium on Earth might just be the way to guarantee our extinction

As the GDI commander, you wouldn't know anything about Kane's plan to let Boyle live and become the GDI leader; you could only make your decision to trust Boyle or not based on his actions and decisions thus far, which you HAVE witnessed. And thus far, Boyle has been nothing but an incompetent glory hound more concerned with his public image than anything else, who ordered using the ion cannon on temple prime DESPITE the general's warning and causing the whole invasion in the first place. GDI KNEW Nod had a liquid tiberium device on site, GDI KNEW Kane was up to something with that device and GDI KNEW using the ion cannon on the liquid tiberium could have devastating consequences but Boyle didn't listen to ANY of that and used the ion cannon anyway

I always choose this ending for moral conscience too. Plus as a member of a military organization who objective is to erradicate the Tiberium from earth always will trust the one who most time expended on that objective. And the one who really hate Aliens Invaders, be frigging bugs or reptiles visitors.
I won this by figuring out a way to capture and defend the rift generator not easy on hard mode but doable, you esentially inch closer with your 3 tanks and commando to the bridge then build apcs 10 of them put the commando and some engineers and go capture it all 50 sec before the clock is enough time, then capture everything south east for money, let nod fight it out with scrin then go in and clean up, then after that its confusing cause i have 2 nuclear weapons + TIB and not sure which order to destroy stuff cause i have everything under control , if i use tib close by everything even my bases get destroyed , I wanted bad ending so the only place to detonate the TIB is north west
Use a commando to destroy their tech building. The tiberium chemistry plant. It gives them those abilities. It's located to the left from their main base, where tiberium fields are. You can also blow up the cloak towers while going there.

As of October 2007, there are no balance fixes or other official patches. I've completed this mission 6 times. Sometimes Nod attacks you with the Catalyst Missile, sometimes not. This is always a different scenario.
I get that too! and they attack concurrently with the Scrin! Annoying as hell! What I did was: I do not rush to build Tech Centre first. Spam Predators to north of your base to hold the Nods wave, once the wave stops, finish off the cloak and quickly come back to base to defend.
No that's cool, Let me fight against fucking 10 PLANET ASSAULT CARRIERS BEFORE I HAVE MY FORWARD BASE SET UP. The level of difficulty of this level is frustrating in the extreme. More so when I start being slaughtered by planetary assault carriers which pop out every couple seconds in pairs.
Stay away from the blue tiberium fields because sending units to the blue tiberium area triggers to generate the endless attack of planetary assault carriers.
@@hdw A better option might be capturing the drone ship above rift generator in early game (a few more tanks + tower rush, no even casualties with some micros. The first wave of Nod attack can be handled by APC’s mine and newly built predator tanks. A shit ton of AA batteries is needed if you want to keep the rift generator for later, otherwise just sell it). With the drone ship, build 8 -12 storm riders and devastator warship/carrier won’t be a problem anymore. Then you can clear the control node with your own devastator warship + super weapons (12 storm riders + 6 devastator warships should be enough to clear the left side of the map, despite the difficulty).

I'm going to be honest, I use a mod call crossfire to beat the gdi and nod story.
The original is a hard mission for me.
On GDI, Just defense and counter atack. On Nod.. "online one fase generator commander! Guard whit your LIFE!"
Challenge: don't use any superweapon.

Becauae boyle is kane spy. He did all that in favor of kane. You learn that in kane wrath
He was corrupt and kayn used him. Thata why boyle wasnt on philadelphia so he takes place after main command is destroyed

How do I make every final mission in campaigns saved with medals?? Is this an overlook bug by the devs??

How come Nod didn't harass you with flame units or with Catalyst Missile and Vapor Bomb? Stupid abilities get me all the time.

HDW - Hard Difficulty Walkthrough ugh. I really wish the mission was designed in a way that informed the player of this.
