I received a few messages from newbies who had trouble with the completion of this mission on hard and I decided to complete the GDI's Sarajevo mission one more time to show the fastest way. I played the patched 1.09 original version. Proof at 23:00. During playing this mission I find that if you begin an attempt to destroy the main Nod's buildings like War Factory, Air Tower, or Hand of Nod) and you fail, then the AI begins attacking you from the air more aggressively using Vertigo Bombers and Venoms. So it's better to camp on your base until you build a powerful army. I also noticed a bug if you make a save at the beginning of the mission and immediately load the latest save, then the AI attacks will be more passive. I reproduced this bug 2 times. I played this mission without loading a saved game. So the strategy is simple. Build a Barracks and buy 5 Rifleman Squads, then build an Armory and buy 4-5 snipers. You don't need Guardian Cannons to protect the main base. Put all the infantry in one group and send them to the left of the base. Don't forget to put units at Aggressive Stance (Alt + A) Send a Surveyor to the southeast tiberium field and build a second base asap and begin buying a few mammoths and commando to destroy the Avatar to complete the bonus objective (by destroying an Avatar), then move to the east. Starting the attack on the eastern part of Nod's base will give 3 Juggernauts as a bonus. Use them to destroy the Air Tower which will send annoying Vertigo Bombers if you fail to destroy it from the first attack attempt 14:19 or send a Commando to blow up the wall. It will help Mammoths shoot through the wall and destroy the Air Tower and the Second Field Generator. 18:16 Building the Ion Cannon triggering the Nod's northern base to create a bunch of different infantry and Avatars which will constantly attack your south-eastern base if you failed to destroy it on the first attempt. Juggernauts can deal with these 2 buildings pretty quickly. Juggernauts shoot pretty well through the walls like a cheater. What is your version of TW? Did you try to attack the enemy base at the beginning? Did you try to build a refinery at the west part of the map? Try to reproduce literally every step of my walkthrough.
@@faithdefender5186 ua-cam.com/video/tvE6HhOQNOg/v-deo.html You can try my way I only use infantry units. Builds 3-4 watchtowers + snipers to protect your base. The rest go to the right.
Wow so I just noticed since I brute forced past the middle path taking out all the War Factories. Wish hammerheads where there. The AI really made me crying to win on hard
Played this as a middle schooler. As an adult who studied the Bosnian War/Genocide in-depth, it's insanely funny to see Sarajevo go from an otherwise modest metropolis that underwent a brutal siege, to a barren wasteland where Kane built his insanely tacky temple over a ginormous Tiberium stockpile as a ploy for GDI to unwittingly lure the Scrin to Earth. What an insane series, I love it so much.
After trying for over 7 hours across two days I finally beat this mission on my own. I only watched this video after finished it on my own, after I tore my hair out trying to beat it. What I ended up doing was building a second base by the Eastern tib field ASAP and got a four Harvester economy going, which gave me enough tiberium to hold off the Nod assaults from all directions. Then once the ion cannon came online, I blew a hole in one of the entrances by destroying the obelisks with the ion cannon, then sent some sniper teams in to provide a spotter for the free juggernauts you get. I destroyed the first ion shield building with the juggernauts from long range, and then use the ion cannon to destroy their production buildings in the now vulnerable areas after scouting with some firehawks. I did the same thing to the second one, and after that I was able to destroy all of their production buildings with the ion cannon, and then I just sent my military into deal with the third similar to what you did here. Not nearly as fast, the end of round screen said it took 44 minutes, but that was a lot faster compared to the hours upon hours I spent getting my ass whooped by this Mission before then.
Nice. I simply turtled the whole way, quickly building outposts to get as much resources as possible to line up a whole bunch of mammoths backed by RIGs. After I upgraded the mammoths with railguns, nothing was getting through. From there I could leisurely build an army of Juggernauts and Mammoths and simply plow my way through.
Lots of solid strategy and gameplay hints. Thanks! I just started playing this game and really like this and the mission just prior, learning to use structure and vehicles in new ways. Very dynamic gameplay.
Thank you very much. i have played this mission probably 30 times now and it has been driving me nuts! Snipers changed everything. Whoever you are thank you! and i was stuck on easy by the way lol
croatia and albania were harder than this, the only semi difficult part of this mission is destroying an avatar with a commando since there's only 1 avatar
@@Litterbugtaylor if you don’t attack Nod much and try turtling then nod will make more avatars. But if you let the mission go on that long it’s alot harder to push into the fortress.
I always wind up getting pinned down trying to build up my forces. I guess the secret is to rush out two refineries and start putting ojt Mammoths tanks before detroying their vehicle production. Thanks man. Been really appreciating these guide/playthrough videos
I built a base right at the start point and created a wall of Fury made up of endless Anti Personnel, Armor and Aircraft turrets, once I knew the entire base could sustain every attack that Nod sent, I began building Mammoth Tanks, fully upgraded and used them in base defence aswell to rank up. Then I simply sent them straight up the gut of the Nod base after I had bombed the Obelisks with Orcas. Nod didn't stand a chance against 25 fully upgraded Mammoth Tanks.
I love building Mammoth Tanks and Juggernauts and capturing Avatars as well. Sending in 20 of each is just so satisfying. I wonder how Nod soldiers feel when being helplessly smashed by an overwhelming force of heavy vehicles, only to see that there's still a long line of them still coming in from the edge of the crater.
I'm playing Tiberium Wars for the first time and I'm having a hard time in this mission so I have to look how it's done. You just sweep it like it's nothing, damn 😎 I'm familiar playing C&C particularly Red Alert but never played the Tiberium series. I guess there's a diffirence in the difficulty 😁 Thanks on this 👍
Had huge issues with it and then when I followed your way of splitting into those 2 bases asap it's just so much easier. AI being awkward as all hell simply stops sending vehicle waves to the main base in the crater. I was stopping myself earlier from establishing a 2nd base because of how difficult defending 1 was getting already.
That last line was probably where I went wrong. The Ion Cannon is the trigger for Avatars spawning? I built it right away but had a similar strategy otherwise (though I use sandbags more, and put snipers in apcs). Maybe waited too long to attack. But I got attacked by groups of 4 to 10 avatars a few bombers and other vehicles and swarms of infantry about every minute on different places on the map. Struggled to build enough engineers to recapture all the avatars :) Took me a while to be able to get from under the pressure. Interestingly enough just sending 50 avatars into the base doesnt trigger the sequence with the a-bomb countdown and the juggernauts.
Your strategy is completely different from mine lol. On hard (Xbox one), I set up bases where the other two Tiberium sources are and defended those until I had a full army of mammoths. Unfortunately, the only enemy forces that were sent my way were scorpion and flame tanks. No avatars ever showed up except for ONE (couldn’t get my commando over to destroy it in time). Am I supposed to allow NOD the ability to gather tiberium from one of the sources?
Trying to do the bonus objective kill a avatar with a commando is sending me loopy.... I almost did it then a stupid flame tank ran over my max level commando and then the NOD never built another avatar
I still struggle to this day doing this mission but once I grind to atleast get some 25 mammoths I just gave up as soon those Avatars start coming I waited for all my units to gain ranks as I dont want to lose again.
i noticed you have tanks attacking you from the east and infantry attacking you from the west. When i play i get attacked from all sides, what do you do different in this mission?
It took an hour or more for me to beat this mission on hard due to mammoth tanks work only on vehicles, zone troopers for avatars and use the commando and APCs to stop infantry.
also expanding is very hard due to when it comes to taking the Tiberium fields I get attacked by either black hand or avatars backed up with venoms and vertigo’s.
Yo how do make the commando survive 2 hits from the avatar walker?? Im playing it on xbox 360. When my commando goes up to the avatar walker it shoots 2 times at my commando and dies.... Im trying to get all bonus objective in one go! (Im playing it on easy)
also the xbox version is running on something like 1.01 or 1.02 instead of 1.09, i can confirm this because in patch 1.05 harvesters become 1400 up from 1000 and in patch 1.01 the storm column becomes 3000.
Man I just can't, I really hate that in this mission Nod is constantly shuffling their vehicle and infantry attacks and you get really punished for trying to hold more than 1 expansion side since you just quadrupled the sides that you need to hold. I suppose that what i get for turtling too much but at first I felt like that was the way to do it
whatever i do , i cannot complete this mission on hard, the enemy keeps attacking, if i defend, he will come with bombers and walkers eventually, grinding me down slowly, if i attack them early, my bace is vulnarable... i cannot maintain two things at once
Deploy war factory near west entrance and defend it with 2 starting mammoths and commando in APC; deploy rig near the east entrance and defend it with starting predators and zone troopers. Have an armory nearby to heal troopers. Have firehawks with AA missiles hoovering the center/edge of your base with 6 pitbull support. This defense is very cheap and effective. Once NOD start sending walkers, capture their husks with engineers. The more they send, the more you will capture. Mass 15 avatars, then set them agressive stance and send them mowing through the enemy base. 😁
I'm fighting an endless stream of avatars, and they are attacking me from all sides. I barely see any avatars at all in your video? Is my game glitched? Been stuck on this mission for over two weeks. I literally have 20x more enemies attacking me. WTF is going on???
I read your pinned comment. And I watched your video. And what I watched looks ridiculously easy compared to what I'm going through. I'm literally killing hundreds of avatars, and they just don't stop coming. Two weeks now. I'm even save scumming every 30 seconds, and still no success. How come you have almost no avatars??? BTW, I beat this level years ago, and don't remember ever having a problem. I'm not a noob at C & C games.
Building the Ion Cannon triggering the Nod's northern base to create a bunch of different infantry and Avatars which will constantly attack your south-eastern base if you don't destroy it from the first attack attempt. Try to reproduce my strategy. Use a commando+zone troopers+mammoth vs avatars.
Oh my God! I finally did it. I copied everything you did. You have to be really fast, or else you get swarmed with avatars. I watched a bunch of other walkthroughs, and this never happened. Anyways, my brain can now rest. In all my years of gaming, I never became so enraged with a game. BTW, I have a question for you; how the hell do you rotate buildings before you place them?
when I did It i didn't use the juggernauts I just went in with mammoth tanks and a few presditors and I think 1or 2 apcs and did it it wasn't easy but I did do it by going to take out the war factorys and I didn't do any bouns but it was still fun
I hear a lot of people saying that. I don't understand that??? My problem with this level is there were too many God damn Avatars. They were swarming me from all sides. And they just wouldn't stop coming. The only way I was able to beat this level was by copying everything done in this video.
Turner Turnip I never seen Avatars attacked from the left side lol. Only Nod infantry units came to the left side mostly and Nod Vehicles come from the mid or right side. It’s easy to contain each side. One, you only need a couple APC’s with snipers in them and take over the expansion on the left. Two, usually It works when you expand right away to the right and set up Defense to hold against the attackers (Mammoth Tank and War Factory can really hold on it’s own). Also last but not least, the middle where your main is. Usually nothing attacks there but if you don’t have both expansions you’ll just get sandwiched every time. Only unit that attacks you is just Vertigo Bombers so just place couple AA Batteries.
HDW - Hard Difficulty Walkthrough Oh yeah I got the bonus objective completed!! It took forever because NOD Ai was producing Avatars except the one that comes out. They kept pumping Scorpions, Stealth Tanks, and Bikers. Weird right? I just saved and had a commando ready that’s rank 1 so he could take a few shots to survive.
Avatars will start coming from the north west if you set up a refinery there. If you play long enough, by the end, pretty much all Nod throws at you are Avatars. But if you're really quick, then you can finish the level before all the Avatars show up. Which is exactly what I did thanks to the help I received from this video.
Nah, I just can't enjoy the stunning graphics of the game cause I have a low end PC. I watch ur vids instead cause I love the graphics and gameplay. Keep it up
@@edwardwilfredlobaton5679 interesting, I play this on a PC with no graphics card, integrated GPU only, and it runs great at my monitor's native resolution (2560 x 1440p)
Funny how the missions in Egypt i find harder than attacking nods main base of operations. I get Kane wanted gdi to strike the temple with an ion cannon but still. This mission should have been harder in my opinion.
This definitely doesn't seem like hard difficulty, even on normal the a i is much more aggressive. AND they barely put up a fight when defending the base. Either something fishy here (mods?) or the game has since been updated to be much more difficult.
This is the original 1.09 patch for Tiberium Wars 3 on hard difficulty. No mods! Proof of difficulty at 24:17. This speedrun was ranked 3rd in the world by completing time.
During playing this mission I find that if you begin an attempt to destroy the main Nod's buildings like War Factory, Air Tower, or Hand of Nod) and you fail, then the AI begins attacking you from the air more aggressively using Vertigo Bombers and Venoms. I also noticed a bug if you make a save at the beginning of the mission and immediately load the latest save, then the AI attacks will be more passive. I reproduced this bug 2 times. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I have enemies coming through the middle entryway to the base and I've basically copied this strategy
What is your version of TW?
Did you try to attack the enemy base at the beginning?
Did you try to build a refinery at the west part of the map?
Try to reproduce literally every step of my walkthrough.
I'm on the xbox one and I did build a refinery on the left. That's probably what I did wrong. Thanks!
"Armour superiority!"
Literally.
Great Gameplay!!
The enemy should be the one do destroying, BUT you annihilate them like it's nothing. Lol
Badass... This mission is still iconic.
I enjoyed using juggernauts in this mission, really fun when kept behind a shield of snipers and mammoths.
Thank you very much. i have played this mission probably 30 times now and it has been driving me nuts! Snipers changed everything. Whoever you are thank you! and i was stuck on easy by the way lol
You're welcome!
It's hard to believe this is the hardest level. When I played, it was much more suffered by waves of Nod's flame troops.
Wanna bet?
croatia and albania were harder than this, the only semi difficult part of this mission is destroying an avatar with a commando since there's only 1 avatar
@@Litterbugtaylor if you don’t attack Nod much and try turtling then nod will make more avatars. But if you let the mission go on that long it’s alot harder to push into the fortress.
@@KD--sj8eo my experience is with the xbox version which is only running version 1.01 and has a significantly weaker AI so there's only 1 avatar ever
the first part of the mission was easy but... the second one was like getting hit by a train
I just LOVE Heroic Mammoth Tanks!! :D
Almost unstoppable!
I always wind up getting pinned down trying to build up my forces.
I guess the secret is to rush out two refineries and start putting ojt Mammoths tanks before detroying their vehicle production.
Thanks man. Been really appreciating these guide/playthrough videos
You're welcome!
@@hdw My favorite enemy's in this game is the Aliens because I rather fight monsters than soldiers.
You just sweep it like it's nothing, damn 😎
I'm familiar playing C&C particularly Red Alert but never played the Tiberium series.
This level is pain 🗿
Your strategy is completely different from mine lol. On hard (Xbox one), I set up bases where the other two Tiberium sources are and defended those until I had a full army of mammoths. Unfortunately, the only enemy forces that were sent my way were scorpion and flame tanks. No avatars ever showed up except for ONE (couldn’t get my commando over to destroy it in time). Am I supposed to allow NOD the ability to gather tiberium from one of the sources?
No there will be only one Avatar always, so you´ll have only one chance
Why is this game so hard , even on easy mode, that I need to watch a video to get a foothold on levels?
We learned of all this science engineered technology computing.
In Hard difficulty only one Avatar show up. And is very stressfull that you only can have 100% if you destroy it with the Commando's bomb.
i noticed you have tanks attacking you from the east and infantry attacking you from the west. When i play i get attacked from all sides, what do you do different in this mission?
Completed this mission before the AI started to attack me from the north side.
It took an hour or more for me to beat this mission on hard due to mammoth tanks work only on vehicles, zone troopers for avatars and use the commando and APCs to stop infantry.
the railgun will one hit kill a infantry members of a squad and the mammoth can kill aircraft
Not vertigo bombers and avatars proven to be too tough for even mammoth tanks.
Missile squads in apcs then or just rush the airdields with firehawks
also expanding is very hard due to when it comes to taking the Tiberium fields I get attacked by either black hand or avatars backed up with venoms and vertigo’s.
This is where the boys became men! 14 games, tried to win this and no - fail at the beginning.
Yo how do make the commando survive 2 hits from the avatar walker??
Im playing it on xbox 360.
When my commando goes up to the avatar walker it shoots 2 times at my commando and dies....
Im trying to get all bonus objective in one go!
(Im playing it on easy)
Use jump ability on avatar and manually destroy it.
also the xbox version is running on something like 1.01 or 1.02 instead of 1.09, i can confirm this because in patch 1.05 harvesters become 1400 up from 1000 and in patch 1.01 the storm column becomes 3000.
Man I just can't, I really hate that in this mission Nod is constantly shuffling their vehicle and infantry attacks and you get really punished for trying to hold more than 1 expansion side since you just quadrupled the sides that you need to hold. I suppose that what i get for turtling too much but at first I felt like that was the way to do it
Great gameplay
whatever i do , i cannot complete this mission on hard, the enemy keeps attacking, if i defend, he will come with bombers and walkers eventually, grinding me down slowly, if i attack them early, my bace is vulnarable... i cannot maintain two things at once
Similar story to Croatia.
@@mathiasrryba just forget about MCV and take over north-east base.
You need 6 fully promoted mammoth tanks and Firehawk's to bomb the obelisks at the edge of the base
The time was written in electricity happy Holiday's DEC 25 2022. I am in time. Just on time.
I struggled beating this mission, Because Nod specters, they're pretty annoying
Playing on 2021! Thanks for this video im able to beat this part! Lol
Jel ovo Buca Potoku ?
I'm fighting an endless stream of avatars, and they are attacking me from all sides. I barely see any avatars at all in your video? Is my game glitched? Been stuck on this mission for over two weeks. I literally have 20x more enemies attacking me. WTF is going on???
Please, read the pinned comment. I explained everything.
@@TurnerTurnip Hey, congrats! Just click and hold the left button then rotate.
when I did It i didn't use the juggernauts I just went in with mammoth tanks and a few presditors and I think 1or 2 apcs and did it it wasn't easy but I did do it by going to take out the war factorys and I didn't do any bouns but it was still fun
If mammoth tanks could mount other units for more good defense would be stronger
what software do you use to record?
Geforce Experience
I haven’t seen one Avatar the entire mission I played. :(
Please, read the pinned comment. I explained everything.
May I ask what specs is your PC running on my guy?
I don't remember... Do you have troubles with running this game?
Nah, I just can't enjoy the stunning graphics of the game cause I have a low end PC. I watch ur vids instead cause I love the graphics and gameplay. Keep it up
@@edwardwilfredlobaton5679 interesting, I play this on a PC with no graphics card, integrated GPU only, and it runs great at my monitor's native resolution (2560 x 1440p)
10:23 lol
No avatars are spawning
On Hard difficulty only ONE Avatar show up.
The reason? To give you a painful secondary objective: Destroy the Avatar using the Commando hability.
When you build the ion-cannon it triggers the A.I to send avatar waves.
When you take out the war factories it will switch over to air attacks.
Funny how the missions in Egypt i find harder than attacking nods main base of operations. I get Kane wanted gdi to strike the temple with an ion cannon but still. This mission should have been harder in my opinion.
And theres me. Who lost on easy difficulty after 40 minutes😂😂😂😂
Can you please give this game
This definitely doesn't seem like hard difficulty, even on normal the a i is much more aggressive. AND they barely put up a fight when defending the base. Either something fishy here (mods?) or the game has since been updated to be much more difficult.
This is the original 1.09 patch for Tiberium Wars 3 on hard difficulty. No mods! Proof of difficulty at 24:17. This speedrun was ranked 3rd in the world by completing time.
I download command and conquer 3 tiberium wars and kane's wrath on the steam and is's no real
Please explain, what do mean "is's no real"?
Do you have instagram?
I don’t have instagram.
i can litterlally complete this mission in 7 minutes
Try hard difficulty. Current world record is 16m 44s.
@@hdw well, it's under ten now x)
I die in 7 seconds on this mission.
There is a certain irony that we are bombing Serbia! :D
This is not hard, I played medium and this is way easier....maybe its because you attacked early?
Buuuufffff
You plan never works 😢
During playing this mission I find that if you begin an attempt to destroy the main Nod's buildings like War Factory, Air Tower, or Hand of Nod) and you fail, then the AI begins attacking you from the air more aggressively using Vertigo Bombers and Venoms. So it's better to camp on your base until you build a powerful army. I also noticed a bug if you make a save at the beginning of the mission and immediately load the latest save, then the AI attacks will be more passive. I reproduced this bug 2 times. This mission I played without loading a saved game.
So the strategy is simple. Build a Barracks and buy 5 Rifleman Squads then build an Armory and buy 4-5 snipers. You don't need Guardian Cannons to protect the main base. Put all the infantry in one group and place it to the left of the base. Don't forget to put units at Aggressive Stance (Alt + A)
Send a Surveyor to the southeast tiberium field, build a second base asap, and buy a few mammoths and commando to destroy the Avatar to complete the bonus objective by destroying an Avatar and moving to the east.
Starting the attack on the eastern part of Nod's base will give 3 Juggernauts as a bonus. Use them to destroy the Air Tower which will send an annoying Vertigo Bombers if you fail to destroy it from the first attack attempt at 14:19 or send a Commando to blow up the wall. It will help Mammoths shoot through the wall and destroy the Air Tower and the Second Field Generator.
18:16 Building the Ion Cannon triggering the Nod's northern base to create a bunch of different infantry and Avatars which will constantly attack your south-eastern base if you don't destroy it from the first attack attempt. Juggernauts can deal with these 2 buildings pretty quickly. Juggernauts shoot pretty well through the walls like a cheater.
Tiberian sun was better
It was... different.
