I wish there was more customization that just a prompt - I get that that's important so musicians who aren't familiar with programming and how parameters work don't get too confused, but I'd love more customization so I can create very specific prompts for sampling
Thank you for putting this as a free plugin. This is an interesting idea. I understand this as an experiment, and I will use it like that. If the outcome is interesting, then I'll keep it, otherwise too bad. I am not sure it is worrying -it really depends how people use it.

You guys make great products.. so I know it’ll get better.. but it takes way to long to load the samples, and it doesn’t do the greatest job of matching the sample to the text, nor is the quality as good as in this video.
Downloaded from your website (for windows) and mine looks nothing like this GUI. The version I am using seems to be more a like a stem separation plugin.
This one is just music oriented. The latest releases from Meta also have a model for other sounds but since we are a music company we probably stick to this one for the moment
You should use a better example than "trap". When I tell TextToSample: "do not make a trap beat", it still makes a trap beat. I suspect some bias going on...😆
The language model is quite basic in order to run locally so it doesnt handle negatives well. If your query contains the word trap then thats likely what you will get from it

if photography killed interest in fine art, this will likely kill the interest in classic music making. But there was an intense era of modern art after the creation of the camera, before it fizzled out into a hobby, historical novelty, or marketable skill for commercial purposes. I hope to be a part of the intense experimentation that challenges the coming existential crisis of music making. The last hurrah of musicians and composers.

I put a Snare in and it made a drum loop that didn't even start on the kick ???😮
If you load an audio file, it tries to continue in a meaningful way. In that case it would start with that snare.
Tried to downlaod it but when im opening it it gives me scripts errors windows

can this generate things like sound effects or is it more music oriented? I work in post and would love a tool like this to help with sound design.
This one is just music oriented. The latest releases from Meta also have a model for other sounds but since we are a music company we probably stick to this one
