I have to say, my favorite big foot theory I've seen recently is that _that_ picture of big foot was actually some guy in his furry suit. I forget the specifics from the thread, but apparently furry suits back then were supposed to be more reminiscent of real animals, and there is no way back then someone wouldn't be heavily ostracized for admitting to being a furry, so the person probably got caught on camera and just never said anything because they didn't want to deal with the social backlash.

Furthermore During a interview the interviewer legit out of no where offered Bob Grimlin 1 million dollars to admit its fake. Even had the funding to truly give him the offer. With out skipping a beat Bob denied the offer because he couldn’t lie, it was real footage. Unlike Patterson Bob never prospered from the video, instead he dealt with years of ridicule from people saying it was a fake.

The Sun Collapse one is hilarious, do people think growing a plant is actually sucking energy directly out of the sun? The same amount of energy would be kicked out whether we were there or not, we're just using it for something rather than just having it disperse out into the universe and entropy.

I think it’s mostly linked to the ideas of life being a simulation. The idea being that the sun will ALWAYS give enough energy for what we need. The photo of the forest stairs you used was an art peice that was put in to a sculpture trail in the forest of dean where I live. Each sculpture kind of looks like an scp tbh. The stairs were demolished years ago

another idea i just thought of is that old civilizations prior to the great reset were actually ahead of us and were able to identify after years of advanced tech that simple, tribal life actually leads to a happier and better populous (maybe even natural selection wise) or that they hid tech advancements from us and pulled a great reset on themselves because those tech advancements had led to overpopulation, forcing them to create a great reset.
