I'm the mother of two boys. One of my sons was listening to this song as I walked past his room. I stood out the door listening because the music drew me in. Then the lyrics happened, and I was hooked. Young people really go through some hard times. It made me cry. Every since then my sons are closer to me and their father more than ever. They talk to us about everything. Some stuff is hard to hear, some stuff I can't even believe they made it out of and escaped with their lives lol ...and I'm not even joking. *(Prayer works)* But all in all my hubby and I are grateful that they're makin it through this life and making good choices! *You gotta be real with you're kids* *they need us so much more than we will ever realize*

It's just admitting/asking forgiveness to your sin then trying to improve from it.

A Christian is no wimp. We are strong and our PROPER understanding of Christ's teachings gives us the strength to stand up and speak truth and do so without driving the spiritually wounded away from Christ.
This is my understanding of His intent for us. I am never compelled to hate anyone and am compelled to forgive. My sister-in-law was carjacked and beaten so badly that she eventually succumbed to the injuries and died. I felt anger and hate for the two that did it initially and found myself becoming very bitter and in a dark place. I wanted vengeance. I soon discovered the power of forgiveness that took that burden from my shoulders and healed me. I believe in the just punishment handed down to them, but I do not need to hate them.

A close friend of mine lost their son, 6, in a car accident. A month later (today) is their other son's fourth birthday, and they had a normal celebration for him.
As I left their house, and returned home, I just broke down and sobbed buckets of tears for that family's tragedy. Too much to handle losing a son. This song played in my head for some reason, and that's why I'm on here.

I still remember being an extra in this video. POD are good people. Super nice guys to hang out with people and eat pizza between shots. It was a looong day/night but worth it! Always giving praise to our Lord.
POD has gotten me through some of the hardest times in my life. You could say I'm alive today because of their message. "Time after Time, I walk the fine line, but something keeps bringing me back." God bless you all, NEVER GIVE UP. Suicide is not the answer.

My oldest son asked me to sit in the truck to listen 🎶. He played it over and over. It was the end of 2005. He passed away a couple of months later. This song will always stay in my heart. We always play it at family gatherings. Only song that everyone stops.............................and listens.

As weird as this sounds, I got introduced to P.O.D. by the WWE. They used "Alive" in one of their promos for The Rock, and I fell in love. A classmate, in high school, gave me their CD, "Satellite", and I had it on repeat. Damn, I took advantage of those good ole days.
