I was going about 110mph getting ready to slam my car into a pillar when this song came on and had me second guessing what I was about to do. My brother called me near the end of the song and talked simple words of love and appreciation. This song literally saved my life. I just lost my first child and my fiance left me shortly after I had come home from deployment to Afghanistan. It took me years to rebuild myself but had it not been for POD coming on the radio on a September Friday night 7 years ago I wouldn't be here. I now have 2 beautiful happy children and a woman who treats me well. My post-traumatic stress has turned into post-traumatic growth. Thank you for the years and years of good music. I've been listening to you guys since the early 2000s when I was a kid in San Diego! Love your music.

i was sitting in my room with a rope in my hand ready to end it all, i had my radio playing still and this song came on, i thought it was over that night. and this song was why i stopped. it made all of the things i would miss out on run through my head. i was 12, i wouldn’t have made it to highschool. i wouldn’t be where i am today. just know that you have purpose to your life, and you are here for a reason. your life may seem like shit now but it will get better, no matter how much you tell yourself that nobody wants you here and nobody cares about you, there is always someone. live life to its fullest, make it fun while it lasts.
Celebrate that despite everything that has happened in your life, you are still here which means there are still possibilities for good things to happen and chances to connect with others, to help inspire someone to stick around a little longer despite how impossible it seems to look beyond the current circumstances or trauma. Glad you are still here with us; there will not be another You, especially for those who know and love you or could know and love you in the future! Keep on keeping on!

This song saved my life! Literally! My husband and I had just split. I had two beautiful little girls I couldn’t provide for. I was hopeless drug addict! I took them to my friends and then went to the location where I was going to off myself! This song came on my pandora. I cried for 45 minutes afterwards. Went and picked up my little girls who were so excited to see me. I knew right then that it was time for change! Been sober 6 years! Back with the love of my life /husband and life is fucking wonderful! This is the first time I’ve been able to listen to it since that say. So thank you to saving me :)

I used to self harm, because I never really had a reason to live anymore. I remember when this song first came out, and I remember listening to it over and over, because it gave me encouragement to keep going. 2 years of not hurting myself. It'll be 3 in January. But I started to feel really sad earlier today, and I looked up this song, and here I am, listening to it over and over again. Thank you to P.O.D. for writing such an amazing song, a song that still touches my heart to this day. A song that reminds me that my pain and sadness will end someday and that everything will be okay. Thank you for encouraging me to keep going in life

Wow, I started listening to POD back in 98, 99 something like that. I was just divorced and had custody of our at the time 10 yr old son. We went to church and listened to POD and now at the present I cant say I have any of their music on file. I have not even heard them in years. But looking at the Cascade Ticket calendar (northwest) I see they are coming to PDX. So I came here to see whats new with them, I heard this some and just started to cry for some reason. That`s not happened in a while. I love you guys, Thank you!

I love this song. First time I heard it was in a church. At a rehab. I use to struggle. I never forgot it and look it up and jam it from time to time. 5 yrs now almost clean. Did this song save my life? Not mine. But it sure didn't hurt it. Seems it's been a life saver for alot of other people though. It's a really good song.

One of my friends he was going too kill his self I sent this video too him and he told me after I sent that video too him he got saved a week ago I said hallelujah praise God he's like a little brother too me now he stays with me and my brother and my wife and his wife and he recently got married we live in a two-story house we told him and his wife pay rent and they are doing it they are so happy with us we play Christian heavy metal music all day I'm 50 and my brothers 54 I'm going to be 51 December 19th when we're all at work we leave music playing all day
7 years living abroad.. despite many attempts I have no friends. Got cheated on and abandoned by people I tried to befriend with. The silence and loneliness is abismal. Sometimes I spend weeks without sharing a word with another person. That void is unbearable. This song among other things help keep me alive. But who knows for how long.

One of my favorite things about music videos has always been watching the band and seeing how and why this song sound the way it does (what instruments are being played and how). Watching the guy play the virtual drum machine on his iPad gave me such a specific kind of joy that I don't know if anyone else feels.

Thank you uncle, I don't know if you knew what I was going through, or just thought everyone should hear this song, but he encouraged my mother to play this for me one day, it touched me on so many levels, my big, tough, no nonsense uncle showing his tender side, the, for lack of a better word, beautiful music, the interesting and symbolic and just plain old sweet music video, my mom hugging me as I began to cry, all came together to create one of my most memorable moments from childhood, thank you.
Truly an uplifting song. Whenever I have a bad day or just feel beat down by lifes daily grind, this song always recharges my battery & allows me to see that you have to take the good w/ the bad. Sometimes one may have to take a hard look at things to find it but there is far more good than bad in this world. Open your heart & mind then your eyes will see.

Bobby Reeves apparently the song has been out since mid-2013. Apparently the radio didn't think people would like to hear such an amazing song and it really offends me. They would rather play crap that has no meaning and is overly repetitive. At least we have youtube so we can keep searching for amazing music from artists we grew up listening to.
