I'm a 68 year old man, when this came out I was 48. I still listen to it loud enough to shatter the windows. My wife never has liked it. Oh well. I pay the bills. My sound system.

WWF fans.
Attitude/Ruthless Aggression era fans to be more specific
Bro i was listeing to LP like a decade before they even started doing that crap lol
Limp Bizkit's "My Way" is still hitting hard in 2023. The beat is sick and Fred Durst's vocals just take it to another level. Never getting tired of this one!
facts i always love limp bizkit music they are the only rock band that knows how rock
Looking back, all the Fred Durst crap was just mediatic circus. Yes, he got pissed for whatever reason at some people in the industry, who hasn't? the portrait that was done of him was bad, but I think now we can overlook all that crap and appreciate what he's done over the years. It's not only the bangers with Limp Bizkit, but also his incursions into other artistic mediums. He really is brilliant and a hard worker.
@@charliebrownatemybro yeah I don´t care what the news say. bla bla 😂

If your listening to Limp Bizkit in 2024 you're probably old enough to remember when MTV played music videos 🔥

Good one!
i wish… i’m 14 and listening to them , i think it would’ve been really cool time to be alive
Yea I’m 45 so yea, I’m old.
They don't play music videos anymore?
WWF Wrestlemania 17. Gives me goosebumps to this day when I hear this song. The glory years of the attitude era.
He attitude era was class
The final WrestleMania theme of the attitude era.. and the final attitude era promo song used.
Yes!!
HUGE fan growing up. I was like 10 at the attitude peak. I always think of X7 when I hear this song and get nostalgic. So I actually went back and watched it again on peacock. Man was it cringe worthy lmao
When I close my eyes listening to this song I can see going out to eat to our favorite restaurant with my parents the day after WrestleMania 17. Would have been cool to have gone in person but still brings back great memories.
Rock vs Austin. Never forget.

Best wwe promo vid ever

That’s what had me hooked to this song
I was a kid when this came out, still loving it nearly 24 years later. Still have my elder sister's recorded cassette with this album.
Who's here to not letting this masterpiece die in 2024 ?
I was a kid when this came out. I listened to this on the first CD I'd ever burned. on my Sony Walkman CD player that I probably got from Sam Goody at the mall. And you know what my name is now?? MY NAME IS KIDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD..... ROC-

I’m 29 now but every time I hear this I feel like I’m 8 years old again watching the build up to wrestlemania 17.
One of my favs since being at wm 17 live!! That rock/austin video package is goated
I discovered this song at the age of 16, living in a homeless shelter in Adelaide with a raging habit. A very good friend and I would play this song from jukeboxes whenever we found ourselves in a bar and it would momentarily uplift us before we headed back out into the world. Hope you're doing okay Dwayne, wherever you are. Glad I had a friend like you to help me through the dark times. God bless you.

*A message to the future generations... don't let this masterpiece song die.*
We won't
Significant Other was a part of my childhood, my sister used to listen to it, that's where I picked up this band from.
It's a staple of the late 90's early 00's. The sad thing is people have a hard time separating the work from the artist.

Never gets old. No great music like this around anymore.
Bro trust me, there’s a ton of new shit much better than this. Like I think Fred Durst is pretty funny, no hate on the guy or the band. However, if you’re looking for “great music” and all you can find is Limp Bizkit, you’re not looking hard enough
people used to make music because they loved music, today they make it for money. Those who actually make music out of love for music we barely know them. It's one of the reasons i stoped listenig to radio. and been discovering music on my own and been finding some great gems out there
@@julianpalmer-smith5765 I listen to alternative music these days (stuff you don't hear on the radio or tv), but I still think it's pretty great in it's own genre. I was a teenager when I listened to limp bizkit. They do have a very unique sounding music and fred dursts voice is also unique. They blend more aggressive rock with mellow melodic rock with hints of hip hop. So yes, there is other great music, but limp bizkit still stands out even in the year 2023

WWE brought me here
Ch66ry They brought EVERYONE here! 😂
Edit: I was in intermediate school at the time of this promotion!
Totally new experience as an adult. So grateful I grew up on this shit. This took me thru my teens.
I had seen limp bizkit, Korn, Rob Zombie and went to Ozzfest all within 1 year probably back in 1996 (well it could have been 1997, I smoked alot of dope back then!lol). I remember Godsmack was just starting out around that time because they were on the third stage at Ozzfest the year I went with like 4 of my close friends at the time. I ended up being the driver and we took like an ounce of weed or more with us, smoked the whole way to the concert, smoked throughout the whole day and then smoked on the drive back. I also remember getting such a bad sunburn that I looked like a cooked red lobster. I was so tender and sore for days but it was definitely a day I won't forget. Lol I just turned 41 the other day and I still love all these bands music. Of course I have branched out to all types of music now but I still end up listening to music I grew up on. My twin brothers are pretty much like that as well, especially Jerry D. (I have a few family members who have the same first name but different middle names). Him and I seem to have a little more in common with each other. I do know that my brothers and alot of my family members would have my back if I ever needed them. If anything should happen to one family member then most of my family stand by one another and kind of watch each others backs which is the way family should be.
I was 108 when this song came out and now I'm 176. I will be listening to this song until I'm 328. Rock on dudes

I want to talk about how underrated their bassist is. Dude packs 80 percent of the punch in this band. Hes also incredibly talented. Wes and fred get a ton of praise. As they should. But man is their bassist a beast.
💯💯💯👹
i thought you were talking about a bass singer
No no. Just his riffs. I dont feel like bassists get enough credit. Especially good ones. They really make a difference in a band. Especially bands like this that heavily rely on a bass and drum groove.

It feels weird when you get to be older & there are so few modern things in any arena that aren't completely terrible & forgetful yet the things you grew up on all only get better. It's depressing, honestly. RIP to all our friends & family who aren't around any longer but enjoyed songs like this with us.

As a man getting divorced listening to this song makes me free
This goes out to my soul sister: "This is your anthem"
Yaaaaaaaaaasssssssssss!!❤❤
Being in high school during this era was great.
fckin rights it was i used to dress like fred durst the black dickes , converse and white tank top and red backwards cap 🤘🏼🤣
The best! Southern Cali girls were amazing during this time 👌🏼 and phones didn’t run our lives yet
Tell me more pls
yeah as a 16yo in '99 i can agree! 90s teenage years where great!
23 years later and is still one of the greatest songs I've ever heard. This needs to be in the top 100 most underrated songs of all time. Forever associated with The WM X-Seven Rock/Austin video. Please I'm begging future generations: Never let this song be forgotten. It's too historical for the 2000's to be.
God 23 years already. Dude my youth years was fking awesome. One of those songs that resonated with me as a kid
Damn, i was here to say the same. That Promo was and still is the best. No one can make something like that.
23 years already?! fck I'm old! loool
Buena epoca de la lucha libre wwe, la era actitud, ahora wwe hay puros payasos,
Agree❤❤❤❤
Take me back to these times!
Perfect song for ANY wrestling match that’s personal, especially in a special event that mattered, WRESTLEMANIA.
My dad was in his 30s when he bought this album, and got divorced with my mom. I'm 27 and finally understand. I get it.
You Mean 1930's Or 2030's?
Why did he do that ?
Showed her the highway
@@thegrindcoreenthusiast7293 he means when he was 30 years old * his 20s* = when he was 20 21 23 24 and when ur 25 its mid 20s
@@n.sadequi4381 Well maybe she was a bad mother and wife he had his reasons prolly
im not his kid or Ranoldo's friend\brother
Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park are my childhood all time favorite bands! RIP Chester Bennington..
ryan mccartney yes remembering the good days. Those songs are being played on MTV back in the days.
Stayed all night up just to see Faint or My generation on MTV :D
Mike de Gracias poor Chester he's been through so much R.I.P. ♥️ CHESTER

bassline is magic
I miss this era of rock, this shit is unreal. Will bump this till the day I die
Yup..grungy and industrial goodness 🤘
fax
100% agree on this
I used to hate on nu-metal but holy shit it's sooo much better than current trends of mumble rap/trap shit. All the woodstock 99 performances were energetic live musicians playing their instruments.
@@t3hgir Lots of these acts received a lot of flak back in the day. But when this music was fresh, we had all sorts of good music from all genres. Now...well not so much.
Something about his voice is so nostalgic it felt so unique to me.
1000%
His voice
The bass riffs
The aggressive pain riddled vibe. They were great. Still are
Defined my generation..😑😂
Omg yes!!!!!!!!!
Kinda sounds like nirvana
@@17-.- not at all
This brings back memories of WWE using this for hype packages for rivalries. Absolutely amazing
Cody vs Roman 2 needs this song 🔥🔥
The first time I heard this song I was a kid watching the greatest WWF promo ever 😍 over 20 years later and it's still the greatest promo ever! What a time to be a kid!
Jeff hardy vs Matt hardy wrestlemania promo was better
The Rock Vs Austin WM17 was so electric with this song for the promo
nothing will ever surpass that promo man .!!!
Bro i remember too! Thats how i heard about this song. From the good ole WWF days
It's crazy how triple h was wrestling at wm 17 and now he's the creative leader along with stephanie as the ceo
Why is this the most nostalgic song
cos its fucking timeless i reckon.
Rock stone cold promo
1999. Age 12. Long car ride home at night. Rock radio. Mom putting up with it.
Fast & Furious Soundtrack also.
this totally gives me old school Thousand Foot Krutch vibes.
WM40 around the corner
Cody vs Roman Reigns
The Rock vs. Stone Cold 2001, the best WrestleMania of all time.
TX Rattlesnake
the SUBMARINES indeed, but WWF/WWE is more about entertainment, and even most people know it's fake they still enjoy it, what would be the problem in that ?
the SUBMARINES so are movies and tv shows and every reality show, your point?
@the SUBMARINES It started getting scripted in the earlier 2000's, but after all WWE/WWF is for entertainment, and it does entertain.
@the SUBMARINES Yea, i know its fucking fake, but its made for E N T E R T A I N M E N T , and it does entertain.
