I remember stopping in Tommy Gilberts back when i was participating in the reenactments near Gettysburg. I went in on that saturday afternoon, right after the main battle....walked out with a bunch of stuff, lol. To anyone stopping in Gettysburg...I HIGHLY recommend stopping in, they are great and customer service is top notch.
This brings back fond memories of my model railroad days. I still have my HO brass Southern Pacific steam I bought back in the 1970's-80's. Most are Westside. Later, I bought some of my favorite steam and diesel in O-scale; these were very expensive and highly detailed. Beautiful models from an era of high-quality Japanese and Korean builders.
WOW!!!!! Seeing those older Brass engines reminds me about a Tenshado ATSF 2-8-0 that I used to have, and WISH I had it today. Somebody kick me!!! That was the smoothest running engine I have ever had, bar none!!! What a collection of brass, and those buildings. WOW!!!! Incredible!!!! Thanks for sharing all this!!!! Dave
Howard and Tommy have alot of brass I will be helping them sell soon. If you are looking for anything in particular let me know. Alot about brass is coming to my channel so stay tunned
The scratch built Gettysburg historic buildings Tommy Gilbert is selling are incredibly well done ,accurate and are HO scale. They can also be done in O scale .Contact Tommy or I for more information. More to come!
