For Minecraft, how much does the amount of ram affect the fps?🧐🤔 You know, I have almost the same system specifications as you. I completely lowered the settings of the Windows graphical environment. I also set the power settings to high performance. I closed all the background programs (except antivirus) and by doing so I was able to have between 70 and 80% of free ram space. And I set Minecraft Launcher to use AMD graphic card🙃 But in Minecraft, although I installed the optifine version and set the settings to the lowest graphics (and set the rendering distance to 8 chunks) and also set the resolution to 1280×720, I just can get 25-45 fps (usually: 30-40) with some lags😢 Will upgrading the RAM amount to 8 GB (Dual Channel) allow me to get more fps? Or have I to do something else? While I saw other benchmarks of this game even with the i3 5005u, they also received a lot of fps (even 100) on high quality My system configuration: Laptop: Lenovo G50-80 1366×768 CPU: Intel Core I5 5200U (2C, 4T, 2.2Ghz (up to 3Ghz) GPU: AMD Radeon R5 M230 (2GB VRAM) and Intel HD Graphic 5500 RAM: 4GB DDR3L 1600hz Singel Channel (up to 16GB Dual Channel) Storage: HDD 500GB OS: Windows 10 Pro Edit: I noticed, I also can get the same fps on CSGO, even on 1366×768 resolution (without Anti-Aliasing)
Hey I have a question, I have the same specs as you but just an i5 instead. A lot of the games you are running don't work nearly as good for me. E.g Valorant you are playing with 60+ fps but for me even after turning everything down to lowest I don't get that. It's not thermal throttling or anything like that? Any ideas?
Valorant is heavily dependant on the cpu. Donno why the devs did that but they did. Even with mobile devices from i5 to i7 the difference can be huge since the CPU is the main bottleneck in this game. (Even when speaking 2corez 4 threads, cache is bigger in i7's) What one can do in such cases with is remove all unnecessary apps or bloathware running in background to reduce CPU usage to minimum. One thing that's really important for gaming on integrated graphics is the RAM setup, you must have it on dual channel (2 sticks of RAM), and a lot of manufacturers ship laptops with just one RAM slot filled (and not in dual channel), specially with i3. Also, your CPU power is way weaker than the i7 in the video.

@@alokroy98 First of all, this is remarkably impressive performance of the 5500, I doubt whoever designed the thing expected them to even work in games after this long. That said, I have some thoughts to help: What is your ram speed and are you running in single or dual channel? What are your iGPU clock speeds? How is your internet connection? Have you recently cleaned your machine of dust? If still overheating, perhaps it is time to replace the thermal paste. In bios maybe there are some power settings and ram size for the GPU that can be increased for example allowing 2GB of RAM to be used instead of 1GB or less. Zax said in another comment that he was using an i7 and that had more cpu cache for Valorant which is heavily cpu dependent. Other tips he mentioned were to close and delete as many background tasks as possible and keep the fan intakes raised and well ventilated. It could also be the case the CPU is literally half burnt from years of use and/or overheating or the manufacturer locked performance. I am looking at a used 5010U for giggles and aside from optimistically running minecraft from this list of games, it's going to be relegated to more of just retro emulation...

i have dell E5450 with intel hd graphics 5500 ram 16 core i5 i experience alot of heat when i play games. is that normal for dell laptops with intel hd graphics ?
It's pretty normal for every laptop. Laptops suffer from users that don't really care about them. IT's CRITICAL to clean the laptop every ones inawhile . We usually clean it every 6months, and replace thermal paste once a year. It's very important for Performance, since laptops are thermal throttling and slowing the frequencies once they are too hot.
8gb single vs 16 dual = if there is a dual channel memory, enormous difference. if there is 8gb dual channel 4x4 vs 8x8, 16g dual channel, hardly any difference.
Hi, I have a laptop with exactly the same specifications however the grand theft auto 5 goes between 14 and 19 FPS, I would like to know how I can achieve the same FPS you achieved in your video. Greetings, my brother
Hmm try to add 4gb more just in case for stability. 8gb is preferable in 2021. Also your GPU will work much better if you have two sticks of RAM (that's how IGPU's work)
GTA V is a very demanding game, so it can be difficult to get 30+ FPS with a 2 core processor and Intel HD iGPU. However, if you lower the game's settings to the lowest possible and turn off certain effects like anti-aliasing, you may be able to reach the 30+ FPS mark. Alternatively, you could try installing a mod that optimizes the game for better performance.
I have i5 5300u with 4gb of ram and same hd5500, I play battlefield 3 everything at low and still cant get 60 fps, anyone now a solution? I have intel graphic driver, with every other one that lenovo driver utility find, but its still not smooth
Hi there! Thank you for watching my video. In order to maintain temperatures above 50 degrees, I make sure to use a good quality thermal paste and regularly clean out any dust or debris from my laptop's cooling system. I also adjust the fan speed to ensure proper airflow and keep my laptop in a well-ventilated area. These steps help keep my temperatures stable and prevent overheating. I hope this helps!
Just a random question. I'm currently getting my drivers update from my laptop manufacturer specifically Lenovo. Is there a way to stop getting updates from Lenovo and get it from Intel instead?
Oh Lenovo's bloathware is sometimes abit too much. What you can do is manually install the drivers, while previously uninstalling Lenovo software (use it as your own endeavor). We personally like the system nice clean and tidy without Manufacturers apps. One can also use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to remove all drivers, and install them afresh (speaking for gpu drivers).
bro how did u get 2gb as vram in intel hd 5500?? I have a laptop with same specs as yours 16gb ram i7-5600u and intel hd 5500 , but still i got 512mb vram. Can you please help me out here as i want to play some of the games you mentioned above.
Actually our systems adjusts how much memory it needs, although it says 512mb in display options it's actually more than that. We're sure your's too actualize more then what's written.
may i ask i have intel i5-5200u intel 5500 hd 4 gb ram i play valorant on a constant 40 fps and having fps drop can upgrading ram may help boosting my fps or nah?
It can. If you have single channel (one stick of ram) adding another RAM (for dual channel) will increase performance from 25-40. . But there are other factors as well. Such as CPU thermal management , disabling unnecessary apps running in background. Also you can try adding fresh thermal paste on your CPU. Raising the laptop will be good idea for a better flow of air because clean the laptop is primary thing to do to increase performance of the CPU and GPU.
That's due to the processor unfortunately, and you might not have Dual Channel memory (two sticks) try to keep your system clean and out of bloatware. If you have single ram , upgrade to two sticks it will increase the performance of games by 25-35%
I'm afraid that's due to the CPU itself. It's pretty slow for modern titles. Try to clean your windows 10 out of bloatware and unnecessary software. Or format /reset your pc.
Hello (i'm not a native english, please pardon my mistakes), on the future i will have a PC with the next specs: CPU: i5 5a gen RAM: 16 gb GPU: Intel HD Graphics 5500 (just like the one on the video) I was wondering how wil be the performance of this next game i will name that are on the video (and in case of any recommendations please say them): -Apex Legends -GTA V -Genshin Impact -Valorant -Warzone -Valheim P.D: i know that a little long list, but i would be very thankful if you would take your time to guide me, thank you!
@@imamprayogi8927 Nah those are kinda expensive, we usually go with OEM cheap ones, the highest RPM and biggest airflow per inch/cm, Noctua fans are efficient and keep it quiet.. Being quiet and good = expensive. Loud + good = cheap
If you're not getting the same frames per second (FPS) as I am in the video, it could be due to a number of factors. It could be the game settings, or the driver version you're using. You could also try using a benchmarking tool to help you troubleshoot the issue.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble opening Warzone. Unfortunately, I can't give you specific advice on how to fix the error, but I would recommend checking out some tutorials online that can help you troubleshoot the issue. Good luck!
. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with your Intel HD Graphics 5500 and Minecraft. It sounds like you may need to adjust the graphics settings to get better performance. You can also try updating your graphics drivers to see if that helps.
Depends on power consumption. If you wanna spare electricity and save Earth in the process of doing so.. go with intel hd. If you are selfish and care about dopamine only playing games while destroying the planet RTX is the obvious choice.
Hmm Depends on many factors. First comes RAM. Is it dual channel and what's the speed of it. (Dual channel offers 25-40% speed increase in IGPU performance) 2. is thermal throtling and thermal solutions of your laptop. If it heats up performance sometimes can go to 50% down.
? Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Cricket 19 can be run on Intel HD Graphics 5500. You can try lowering the video settings to see if you can get it to run, but we can't guarantee it will work.
Yes, you can on lowest of settings and 720p here are couple of things that might improve FPS If you can buy dual channel memory (two sticks of Ram) if you haven't got allready. 3 issues are slowing computers in general:, thermal throtling, System optimization, bloatware or unwanted apps taking high percentage of CPU in background As for thermal managment being the most common issue. 1) you can open your laptop and clean it thoroughly (follow some guide for your particular laptop on youtube) 2) easy fix would be raising your laptop so it can breath air 3) also second easy fix, blow some air with a straw or directly put your mouth to the air vents (i know it sounds weird but it should clear the copper passive cooler) 4) one should try and keep the system out of bloathware and erradicate/ remove unnecessary apps running in background, so they won't engage the processor. If that doesn't work, system format/reset should be done. We usually do once in 5-6months. It's highly recommended & everything above that is just slowing the system no matter how good you take care of it.
@@fiko2837 there are a lot of caveats, probably need 16gb dual channel ddr3 1600mhz RAM, 2GB allocated to the iGPU, boosting to the full speed, a very vanilla system, no bloat or background, anything more recent than crusty 2015 thermal paste, a good cleaning, good ventilation, a top of the line cpu with lots of cache, solid fully unlocked power delivery, may as well have a fast ethernet internet and lightning fast ssd (tin foil hat if optane) all for good luck. Maybe it would help to not run Windows and use some kind of linux distro, idk. Oh, and sacrifice your first born child fps blessings.
I have a laptop with i7 5600u 8gb ram and hd 5500.....and i play rocket league in 1024x resolution and it still lags.and valorant at 1080p low gives 25~30 fps..have you tweaked something?
nah bro i play rocket league on full high graphics with no lag with the exact same specs, you need to cleap your laptop up!
Which ram, processor and laptop?
Hello bro, sorry for my English but I am using the google translator, my laptop has the same components of the pc from the video, however GTA V runs between 15-20FPS, but after playing about 20 minutes in a row a weird lag begins as they begin to raise and lower the FPS constantly, if it stayed at 16 FPS for me it would be playable.
That's 99% due to thermal throttling, you gotta find a way to keep your laptop cool.
1) you can open it and clean it thoroughly (follow some guide for your particular laptop on youtube)
2) easy fix would be raising your laptop so it can breath air
3) also second easy fix, blow some air with a straw or directly put your mouth to the air vents (i know it sounds weird but it should clear the copper passive cooler)
4) one should try and keep the system out of bloathware and remove unnecessary apps running in background, so they won't engage the processor.
put it in the fridge and it should get better

Do your system have ssd?? How much gb ??
i have dell E5450 with intel hd graphics 5500 ram 16 core i5 i experience alot of heat when i play games. is that normal for dell laptops with intel hd graphics ?
It's pretty normal for every laptop. Laptops suffer from users that don't really care about them.
IT's CRITICAL to clean the laptop every ones inawhile . We usually clean it every 6months, and replace thermal paste once a year.
It's very important for Performance, since laptops are thermal throttling and slowing the frequencies once they are too hot.
what cpu do you have?
Is there much difference between 8gb and 16gb?
8gb single vs 16 dual = if there is a dual channel memory, enormous difference.
if there is 8gb dual channel 4x4 vs 8x8, 16g dual channel, hardly any difference.
how you are able to run GTA 5 ?? i have the same graphic card??
Hi, I have a laptop with exactly the same specifications however the grand theft auto 5 goes between 14 and 19 FPS, I would like to know how I can achieve the same FPS you achieved in your video. Greetings, my brother
Optimization
I have GTA v 20fps and it plays with fixed 0 muscle and the resolution is 1024.
He boosted card
his os must be ghostspecter or windows 7
how many rams do you have and also i have 4gb ram will the games you show work like you
Hmm try to add 4gb more just in case for stability. 8gb is preferable in 2021.
Also your GPU will work much better if you have two sticks of RAM (that's how IGPU's work)
@@ZGI thanks you for your advice
@@ZGI i should add 8 gb stick or 4gb?? I have 4 gb ram currently
when you do not film your screen how many fps do you have on fortnite? thank you ❤️
We usually lose 5-10% peprformance. That's not a huge difference (if it's 30 fps it's usually 31.5-33 in real gaming)
I have
i5 5300u
Ram 8GB
Ssd 256GB
Intel hd 5500
Can i play Gta V, Csgo, and all of the game in the video?
Gta v is cpu bound, how do you get around 30+ fps with 2 core processor and intel hd igpu?
GTA V is a very demanding game, so it can be difficult to get 30+ FPS with a 2 core processor and Intel HD iGPU. However, if you lower the game's settings to the lowest possible and turn off certain effects like anti-aliasing, you may be able to reach the 30+ FPS mark. Alternatively, you could try installing a mod that optimizes the game for better performance.
I have i5 5300u with 4gb of ram and same hd5500, I play battlefield 3 everything at low and still cant get 60 fps, anyone now a solution? I have intel graphic driver, with every other one that lenovo driver utility find, but its still not smooth
playable genshin,Naruto Strom 4,and Jum force or not
Watch dogs 1 is completely playable on this specs
How you maintain temperature more than 50 degrees?
@@ZGI Thanks
We're sure your's too actualize more then what's written.
hello , where can i find the last version of Intel HD 5500 please
Great Video. Thank you so much.
Appreciate it. Wish i can contribute more ^^
may i ask i have intel i5-5200u intel 5500 hd 4 gb ram i play valorant on a constant 40 fps and having fps drop can upgrading ram may help boosting my fps or nah?
@@ZGI thanks and last question does cleaning amd defrag my hdd may help fps or may boost my booting time?
hey do all games really run on intel??
How is your FPS higher than mine :') 60-70fps on csgo? Mine is only at 30-50 ( using I3 5005U with 8gb ram )
Because all your laptop or pc settings are all at low or med

Glad to hear that ^^
bro plz reply...my specs are intel hd 5500..ram-8gb..core i5-5300U but my laptop gives less than 30 fps in mincraft on 8,9 blocks setting
That's due to the processor unfortunately, and you might not have Dual Channel memory (two sticks) try to keep your system clean and out of bloatware.
If you have single ram , upgrade to two sticks it will increase the performance of games by 25-35%
I have a i5 5200u, 8gb ram , intel 5500 , it's good for fortnite and gta ? Thanks

Can you make a video to how to optimize intel hd 5500 gpu please
I have r6 but when i play, the video move slowly and it look vero bad, why? I have intel hd graphics 5500,intel i7 and windows 10
I'm afraid that's due to the CPU itself. It's pretty slow for modern titles.
Try to clean your windows 10 out of bloatware and unnecessary software. Or format /reset your pc.
How much FPS could I get with an i7 5600u 8gb ram and an ssd
Hello (i'm not a native english, please pardon my mistakes), on the future i will have a PC with the next specs:
CPU: i5 5a gen
RAM: 16 gb
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 5500 (just like the one on the video)
I was wondering how wil be the performance of this next game i will name that are on the video (and in case of any recommendations please say them):
-Apex Legends
-GTA V
-Genshin Impact
-Valorant
-Warzone
-Valheim

how many ram are your pc
i have hd 5500 and minecraft with low settings i got 1000 fps lol
Wow, thats nice
why does overwatch have more fps than freefire ?
Hmm guess that's depending on the optimization. And still free fire is ran through bluestacks (third party app)

SSD and HDD. Games are usually on HDD
How many add up fps if you're not recording?

Holy shit I had these a couple years ago.
What ram?
I know the ram is 8gb but is its name?
Bro how are u getting these fps I got the same specs but I'm not getting these fps why?
If you're not getting the same frames per second (FPS) as I am in the video, it could be due to a number of factors. It could be the game settings, or the driver version you're using. You could also try using a benchmarking tool to help you troubleshoot the issue.
Sir please help to buy RAM i have hp notebook model 15ac101tu....

is it dual channel ram or single channel?
Dualchannel RAM
how did you open warzone mine has a graphics card error

I get only 15-20 fps i'm gta V
I7 4th gen
8gb single channel
Surface pro 3
256 ssd
Nice
intel hd or nividia geforce rtx
Depends on power consumption. If you wanna spare electricity and save Earth in the process of doing so.. go with intel hd.
If you are selfish and care about dopamine only playing games while destroying the planet RTX is the obvious choice.
i have i5 5th gen 8gb ram and same gpu
can I expect similar performances
Hmm Depends on many factors. First comes RAM. Is it dual channel and what's the speed of it. (Dual channel offers 25-40% speed increase in IGPU performance)
2. is thermal throtling and thermal solutions of your laptop. If it heats up performance sometimes can go to 50% down.
@@ZGI it does heat up tbh
what would you suggest for that if you got anything in mind
notebook cpu at 30 degrees playing? what magic is this

Using DXcpl emulator for directx, and some tweaked drivers and game ini options. Gonna release a video in summer how we do it.

What can I run ? 😪
If you have dual channel 8gigs (two sticks of ram) one should get similar FPS as in this video and run most of those game titles
im suprised. Valorant on 100 fps which is really good
That is amazing! I'm glad to hear that Valorant was running so well with the Intel HD Graphics 5500.
Can we run cricket 19 in intel hd graphics 5500

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Cricket 19 can be run on Intel HD Graphics 5500. You can try lowering the video settings to see if you can get it to run, but we can't guarantee it will work.

Intel hd 5500
Yes, you can on lowest of settings and 720p
here are couple of things that might improve FPS
If you can buy dual channel memory (two sticks of Ram) if you haven't got allready.
3 issues are slowing computers in general:, thermal throtling, System optimization, bloatware or unwanted apps taking high percentage of CPU in background
As for thermal managment being the most common issue.
1) you can open your laptop and clean it thoroughly (follow some guide for your particular laptop on youtube)
2) easy fix would be raising your laptop so it can breath air
3) also second easy fix, blow some air with a straw or directly put your mouth to the air vents (i know it sounds weird but it should clear the copper passive cooler)
4) one should try and keep the system out of bloathware and erradicate/ remove unnecessary apps running in background, so they won't engage the processor.
If that doesn't work, system format/reset should be done. We usually do once in 5-6months. It's highly recommended & everything above that is just slowing the system no matter how good you take care of it.
How do you get 80 FPS in valorant
@milzon 08 I know But with 5500 it’s not I get 50 fps
Should be all good to go :D
[oh and avoid using more than one monitor or wireless peripherals because they put stress on the cpu. Muting the game also gives more frees more resources for more fps kek] (I'm kidding)
best of luck to you and yeah, don't feel bad if you don't get this much fps, the stuff is old and worn out, might be the system gave all it had to give years ago and is fizzling out
