@@urnotjustin I feel the same, but it's weird. on one side tf2 would be good with fresh content, but overwatch gets new content and... it isn't good. it's hard to say.
on the whole fov thing I would love to be able to change the fov in valorant if not camera fov then just the gun fov or placement because in my opinion the guns are massive and im a huge fan of minimized viewmodels like in source games, makes the game feel more comfy and just overall feel better to play without a gun taking up a good chunk of the screen
i play on the lowest graphics but i do have bloom on, it makes enemy outlines easier to see. i also play on 1600x900 resolution instead of 1920x1080, it's a slight fps boost that doesn't make the hud look deformed nor extremely blurry
Imagine if a pro player who uses low settings just look at one of the most best skins and said "it looks bad" only to realize they're not playing in max settings
I literally don't see any difference from my game to the "potato" section. I didn't even know prime was like that. I have looked at prime like the "potato" version my whole life. I play on a Toshiba laptop, with max 30 fps. I usually go like 15-20 fps.
I play on my laptop with all of the low settings, so this video is so fun ❤️ I also use prime vandal and odin and it doesn't bother me at all, they are still good and give me aimbot for dome reason 😂
As a CS player: Being able to switch left/right handedness on a keybind and being able to customize the viewmodel of your gun. These are insane quality of life things and the argument of "The devs want to encourage ADSing" is a dumb argument, as ADSing reduces your FOV more than the viewmodel hinders your vision, the gun model being so far out is unnecessary and a hinderance, it should simply be customisable.
@@urnotjustin Yeah I get that. If you ever do want to get back into it, now wouldn’t be a bad time. It’s supposed to get a relatively sizable update this year with new, permanent content.
you can lower the 3D resolution of the game by going into LocalAppdata by pressing window key and R and then typing %localappdata% and then going into valorant, usergamesettings and changing all the effects to 0 and the resolution all the way down to 25
you can actually lower it way more by lowering screen quslity thingy like 1920x1020 to 720x560 idk if thats the lowest or it even exists but it makes it worst
I use 1366x768 on my 1080p laptop screen. It can do 60fps stable in 768p, but I only do 40 as the thermal paste is dry as heck so the GPU goes up to 90c, and opening the laptop to change thermal paste is extremely difficult (Dell E5570 I7-6820HQ and AMD R7 M370)
Anisotropic Filtering is why skins look blurry/pixelated, doesn't affect fps either having x4-x16 but there's no difference between the two so I have x4
So, I have my NVIDIA setting on performance and stuff, and I always wondered why newer games like Warzone looked so crappy on my PC....they were always so pixlly, now I know why XD

FOV has been shown to cause issues a lot, like allowing people to see through walls at high fovs, so whole i agree with everything else i think if FOV was implemented someone would find a way to abuse it
Just a tip that this resolution can go even lower by going into game directory, and in user settings file, changing the resolution from 100% to lower, this is not bannable eighter as it is valorant's own settings
Lowed it down to 60%. Looks like a blurry Minecraft now but I got used to it in a year. When I try normal graphics it's weird now. Despite with a jittering Intel Onboard Graphics connected to an external monitor and a high average WiFi ping I was able to go Iron2 to Bronze3 with the customized graphic settings because it made a huge difference in stability.
also disabling multithreated rendering i think would give you less fps because you use less threads and because of that you stress this thread to maximum so it renders slower and gives less fps
