- Today on Fishing Planet we head out to the San Joaquin Delta to farm some cash and XP to help us level up. Our main target today was some White Sturgeon but we also got ourselves some Trophy Steelhead and Striped bass!

When you haven't caught a sturgeon on the bottom rods in about five minutes, recast your rods, it resets the fish spawns.
I have a tip for those who want to add a little fun to the fishing on Fishing Planet..Fish for the big game fish(the ones that take forever to reel in)from a kayak let them drag you around,it tires out the fish quicker and it is fun cause if the fish is big enough and you aim your rod to the side it will cause your kayak to tump over..lol..try it..it is fun,and it is easier to get those big fish in..
San Joquin - Beaver - Several days here. 2x bottom rods w/ bells, tried spawn sacks, cut bait, mussel meat, shiners, everything. 1 or 2 Sturgion under 30 lbs. Lost 2 or 3 unkowns to line tension. WHY AM I NOT GETTING MORE STURGEON BITES ??? People around me catching them like crazy?
When i fish that lake i have 2 rods for sturgens (my stronger rods) and 1 for carps so i have a decent range of money and xp coming in

I didn't know about the steelhead at this spot. You caught a unique there? Steelhead fight like crazy. Sometimes i confuse them for unique stripers!
Yea the unique on was there, pretty crazy fight too.
I tend to do money farming more because I really need it. So if you want a money farm, go to emerald, aim near the middle part of the lake, using a purple narrowspoon during peak times walleye will get hooked almost every cast until you drain them to the point they have to respawn. That's how well it works.
Bro don't tell me you think walleye are better money than sturg?
@@deedlefish they are easier for me to catch so I make more money than trying to fish a fish I never find.

You can make the same amount of money catching 1 sturgeon than in a whole day of walleye
St. Croix is a good lake at your level. It has lake sturgeon and unique blue catfish that are good xp and the pike and muskies are probably the best $$ farm.
Okay I believe I used to fish the pike for money
I bought a week of premium few months ago, farmed pike in my boat and made 300k easy.

lvl 38-54 is a very long grind all you can do to speed it up is to buy the bass boat pack( the important thing is that you get a thirty day license for Blue Crab island), it will help immensely as long as you have VERY strong gear.

I learned that if you fish using gear that makes the fight take longer you get much better exp
Sweet! I love fishing planet! There is unique common carp at that spot also. But you need a carp rod to get the uniques. They'll bite on bottom rods also but carp rod best.

Oh and you Can alternate between rods on the rod holder,I do it all the time you just have to time it all right..

We are looking to buy fertilized sturgeon eggs. How does the process work, and would you be able to ship it to California?
You do understand that Sturgeon or more likely to strike the fluorocarbon or monoline than the titanium because the metal leader is not necessary for a toothless fish

@@AwolMedal27 it's also a simulator. Titanium leaders for preditory fish and floro for non predatory. The difference makes a world of difference
