I know that the large cutbait is twice as much as the spawn sacks, $120 vs $60. However, I have found the large cutbait to be at least 3 times more effective at catching the white sturgeon. Not only do I catch them much quicker I also catch larger fish with it. So I am willing to spend the extra $60 per fish. After all when you are catching $2,500+ fish it is rather a small ammount.
Yeah I use it because its cheaper and you're pulling fish in so fast I just don't bother using cutbait.

Hi zabby, im level 34 right now and i farmed from level 30 to 34 at michigan,the problem is that im really bored of farming pike, what should I Do instead of Pike?
So, I’m level 19 (trying to get to 28 ASAP for frogs) and I’ve been grinding Emerald. Is this a better option? I do have feeder rods for channel catfish, but nothing fancy 😅
What’s setup and guide would you recommend for level 29 ? I’m just grinding walleye at the moment but don’t seem to be moving anywhere
You're close to Michigan but you could go to everglades and get some uni bass!

You need an advanced fishing license for boats to get to that spot but once you are there and your license runs out you can buy basic licenses as long as you don't move
No you don’t it’s a spawn. And you need advanced license to fish at night

I started playing the game 20 days ago and with the tips of your videos I am at level 42 near the 43, I am about to go to California, but I have been watching and researching and from what it seems to me we can get more money in Michigan than in California or is it just me?
And after level 50 what is the next location?
Depends on what your setup is like I made more money per day in michigan but made more in a 20-30 min IRL period with this sturgeon farm. After 50 I went to weeping willow but I need to fish more there before I can make a video!

I am currently at level 43.
I came to KANIQ to try it because they offered me the anniversary pack and as I have a seven day license I will try the salmon.
I will be here 2/3 days of game time to do the missions and then I will spend the remaining 6 days that I have in California.
I have a sniper botton 360 + megatank 7000, sport bottom pack, Brutus 330 + thunderspin 5000 and I'm thinking of buying a catboxer 260 + thunderspin 5500 to go there what do you think?

Im just a beginner but i saw some level 13-15 dudes with a ton of money do they get that by doing some kind of tournaments

There is a way you can reel them in instantly with 9-11 kilo setup (what I'm doing at level 31). Grab a kayak and sail out to the spot you prefer, there is several nice spots. Float fish at the bottom and have 6 meters line out. When hooked on most of the times it's reeled in instantly because your right at the spot and line is tight and short. Experiment with the length a bit. Sometimes it's possible with 5 meters line out, but sometimes you pull up tackle before its hooked. Off course the times you don't manage to get it in constantly, you're in for a longer fight. Normally I reel in 7 out of 10 instantly and the remaining 3 is probably better just to loose and replace bait to get back in the water instead of reeling in for 15 minutes . I use crawfish atm.

I bought the gold dlc pack you use the metric system I don’t do I don’t know if the stuff in it is able to do it guess we’re gonna find out wish me luck
The gold pack has a bit of everything so youll be fine!
Why do you fish the same spot with 4 rods when there are 2-3 other spots within reach? You would catch a lot more with the heavy setup, up to 16 sturgeon a night
it only spawns in a few at a time regardless and when you skip ahead it resets so it doesn't matter where you put your line anywhere there will work.
One more question if u could answer is the bass money fishing more efficient than the walleye
If you're talking about Everglades I think its about the same if not a little bit worse but the XP is alot better
Yeah everglades is better for XP and it's quicker to fill up a keepnet
why do you use bells on your rods when you hve bite alarms xD
u can farm sturgeon at really low lvl (27) , buy ali 450 (feeder rod). and its easier i guess because of lenght ? .. if ure not getting lucky or fish is too far way u can just hop on the boat . sorry for my bad english ,j sut want to share some tips for fellow angler
my setup is big ali 450, 12kg spinner rell, 13.6kg brad line , 0.35 titanium leader ( dlc i think)
Yeah if you have a boat and can get to the spot where they come in right away you can use smaller rods.

Your guides and your tips helped me to get some money... I updated my fishnet (70-->200kg) I got setup for Michigan (2x bottom sniper) and for California (2x cat boxer)... But I have some problems in California while night fishing
I only catch 4-6 sturgeon in the night...
I did everything you do in your guide but I think I missed something...
I got one size two rod stand, casting 2x cat boxers in the corner, if no fish in 5 min (real time) I skip time and cast again... This way I get between 4 and 6 sturgeon per night..
The money for extending time I get every day, but in Michigan I got a full fishnet before extending time and there was more money for me...
Any tips would be appreciated :)

Could be bad luck sometimes I go through nights where I don't catch as many but it still makes money then some nights I fill up my keepnet super fast. Also this is just faster in terms of IRL time, michigan might fill your keepnet everyday but it takes much much longer to make that amount.
Just got 7 sturgeon in about an hour... 15k money is ok :)
Have to stay more than just one or two days there...

maybe your hook size? 4/0 barbless with the spawn sack you will get fish within seconds of casting
there is 6 spots to catch sturgeon 3 where you were one in front of boat house one further down on the right where unique carp are and one behind you where stipe bass salmon and steelhead are just to the right of the little island

Actually there is more, there is new sturgeon farm these days, look for sturgeon bullet farm I start using it and I can land 10+ white sturgeon’s in like 10 min. Definitely worth checking guys

You can only use certain baits on a carp rod, I've never tried it there but if you can find a bait that sturgeon will bite on there let me know lol

Genuine question How is this better than saint croix northern pike when the pike sell for more money per pound?
Because money per pound doesn't matter, it takes maybe 15-20 mins IRL to complete a day in Cali

Yeah don't worry so much about filling your keepnet once you have the biggest ones in the game just focus on whats quick IRL.

I pulled up a 22kg white sturgeon by using a 3-8kg bottom rod(I was using the wrong rod, thought it was a 25kg rod). It was a tough fight, took me about 1/2hr.

Check the controls in the options, I never had bottom rods on console, so I'm not sure!
Hold the L1 button and press and release R1 button. You need to do this again to remove the clip.

I've gone fishing tons of times, i'm too lazy to focus on the game half the time because I've played it so much
It's faster with a single rod since they put in low tension update.
I think if you use lighter line you can still get away with it, but yeah the update kinds sucks :/
Hey please could you elaborate what the update does thanks ps4 player btw not sure if I have it but when I was fishing NY with my 2 bottom feeder 1 lure setup my bottom feeders caught like 6 out of 70 fish I wanna say so I'm not sure if that was bcz of the update or just bottom feeders being bad for walleye
