I thoroughly enjoyed this video. It is a delicate process that would be used on a hard to replace item, not your typical insurance company / body-shop repair. This is high end QUALITY work. I really liked your professionalism in the comments/ responses.

Back in the day we used to drill holes then use the slide hammer .
Then classic plastic red.
And so on.
I love the case with nice cut foam for the hammers as if you only use them once or twice a year.
Goodness I sound like my father.
This is brilliant. Now I know what to do with my slide hammer and spot welder. Everything about this video is informative and no bullshit, unlike so many others.
You can youse a spot welder to do the same thing just put good jump leads clamp black to earth as normal and then with the pos clamp hold the pulling tag set the timer the then put the tag to your req place and hold ,the timer will do the rest and so on too the next one, Sorry i forgot to say set the timer by testing on a pace of scrap metal to get the setting right and of you go

That’s really neat. The only problem is you don’t get paid more for having that fancy machine. In fact most shops will not even buy that for their techs. And most techs aren’t smart enough to use.

thats hell a lot of tools and a machine to get the job done.others would finish the work with the same outcome without such machine,only some tools used for repairing dents

These would be good for the beginning bodyman with no experience or skills, but it's still not enough. You need to heat shrink the metal due to it's new elasticity from the dent. Then filler, and block sand.

If the paint looks good, the customer doesn't know or care if the filler underneath is a glaze coat or 1/4" thick. Spending a couple grand on a fancy tool, and an extra 45 mins pulling the panel perfect sounds like a good way to go out of business.
We really appreciate your comments and for watching our video. Just for info, the video was made to fully explain spotter's capacities and tools usage and repair possibilities. It was not limited to a specific repair. Tools can be used in several repair and can faster in massive way operator working time. In some country (as Italy) labor costs is pricey and it is crucial to reduce repairing time.

And I'm certain that a skilled tech could become proficient with the tool and do an excellent job of restoring metalwork to nearly the pre-impact contours. Autobody work can truly be an artform, or just a job, depending on the client. Generally speaking, Americans don't regard their cars with the same sort of long-term care and concern as do many Europeans, particularly in Italy and Germany, for example. And it is a shame, but here in the U.S. insurance companies don't pay enough to cover the added expense of doing proper metalwork restoration before filling. Finally, most American drivers wouldn't understand the difference between a thick coat of filler and panel restoration, or care, even if you sat them down and thoroughly explained it to them. Nonetheless, I am certainly there is a market for the tool among high-end shops in the U.S that cater to a more savvy automotive clientele.
