Wish I knew the dji goggles was compatible with analog I'd never get the fatshark I'm disappointed in myself for not doing the research was 2 excited about fpv
Noob here thinking about getting this will this work with tango 2? And im confused where you went to vtx tab and on selected mode on the channel part how do you know which one to pick? Can it be any channel?
Which of this receiver is the best to install on the Smart 16 to be able to use my controller and goggles of the Tiny Hawk III? IFLIGHT R81-SPI FRSKY RECEIVER EMAX TINY - D8 FRSKY RECEIVER RADIOMASTER R84 4CH FRSKY D8 COMPATIBLE PWM RECEIVER
The EMAX TINY - D8 FRSKY RECEIVER is the closest option if you're going to buy the Smart16 as PNP, otherwise my above statement holds true if you're going to buy it with an rx already installed.
@@OneManUnmanned This means that if I buy it stray from Geprc with the AC 900 D8/D16 option I will be able to used the controller and goggle of the Tiny hawK? This will be the best option for me since I don't have to much knowledge with electronics.
@@OneManUnmanned But there are some steps involved because you don't just turn the goggles on and it works. People would like to know what are those steps. I know I have to switch between my DJI FPV drone and my normal digital FPV drones when I use the DJI goggles. What are the settings you go to in our DJI goggles?
The DJI goggles accepts an analog input(like a TV). You'll have to get a digital to analog adapter and an analog receiver... That's it. It really is plug and play. These videos about the DJI Goggles should be coming out starting tomorrow and continue as they are edited.
Tiny drones are getting so good! Check out the Flywoo Firefly Baby ELRS, Polar Nano, DJI goggles with it are amazing (no adapter needed, zero signal static) F7 FC and 4S batteries . Kinda pricey but really fun.
A couple of things to note..The rx in the drone and the radio controller needs to be on the same ELRS version. The binding phrase needs to be the same on both the rx and Radio as well. Once you “build” the Configurator file for the rx, it needs to be flashed onto the rx. The rx can be flashed once it goes into WiFi mode(powered on and after 20seconds). You’ll have to connect to the rx WiFi hotspot (password is expresslrs) and go to the web address 10.0.0.1. Then you can update the rx . The Radio2 SE is updated in the BETAFPV Configurator and has to be configured with the same bind Phrase as the RX. NOTE: The controller has to be OFF in order to configure and flash. Hope all this info helps.
Those were my thoughts when I first flew the BabyNazgul. I can definitely see that happening if you're flying line of sight. Yes, it is tiny, but the beeper does help a little bit.
Hi , This is my first time buying a drone with a "non SPI ELRS receiver." I use the Betafpv ELRS Module and will not bind to the ELRS 2.4 of the GEPRC Smart 36. What is the name of the ELRS receiver in this drone? I will like to do a passthrough to Flash the receiver.
Are 100% sure the ELRS module is configured properly? As long as the binding phrase is the same in both the TX and RX, they should bind immediately. I don't know what receiver is used in the Smart16, and it was not listed on their website when I flashed it during my setup. I've heard other pilots say it's a Happy Model EP2 rx. Because I did not know the brand, I flashed mine with the DIY model and it works fine. Having said this, most hardware for ELRS are virtually the same, and comprised of the same components(there are very few differences among manufacturers). Picking a manufacturer in the drop down menu may not make a big difference. Sorry, I could not help with the correct brand/manufacturer.

It's a really fun flyer. Great video, Thomas.
I was very surprised by its performance.. Really a fun flyer. Thanks 😊
Hope they have a smart 20! Nice flying man. You've come a long way. It flies so smooth.
A smart 20 would be nice. Thanks for the kind words and support.
Almost 1000 views - good job!
Haha..Thanks, I'm trying 😅
@@OneManUnmanned Ur doing super well
Thanks Leonie...I do appreciate the love and words of encouragement. Not too many take the time to do it.

It's not directly compatible, but can be done. I've made a video on it.. Should be out in the following weeks. It is the best of both worlds.
What esc screws do you prefer? Plastic or metal?
I'm liking the metal more...I recently had a crash and all but one plastic screw broke off.
Looks fun 👍🏻
It really is.

The AC 900 D8/D16 option is the model compatible with the EMAX E8 controller. Should be a good option coming from the TinyHawkIII.

Yes, that would be the best option. The EMAX E8 is a D8/D16 capable radio.
would i be able to use the radio master zoro with this drone ??
Yes, you can.
Was it tricky getting your DJI goggles to work with the adaptor?
No, not really... kind of plug and play. I've made some videos on it. I'll be publishing those DJI goggles videos in the coming days.

Awesome.. I'll look into it. Thanks
Does the Smart 16 ship with batteries, or would I have to buy those separate?
They do not ship with the batteries...I would definitely get a few sets as it's not a very common size.
@@OneManUnmanned Gotcha, I'll be sure to order a few sets. Thank you!

can i fly this drone with the gear from the tinyhawk 3 rtf kit ?
Yes, just select the option with the D8/D16 receiver.
Thanks man Ur Videos really carry me throug my New Hobby ^^
Not a problem.. I'm really glad that they helped. Welcome to the hobby!
what if we lost the drone ? how can we locate it when is so small? if they have loud beeper since is so small to locate
i flew flywoo and iflight equivalent tiny drone lost a few of them .. i think this going to face the same problem
