Very nice flying dude, you’re one my favorite pilots to watch 🙌 looks like a pretty sweet little quad
Yeah, he's really really good!
Wow, that's some great stick control! Awesome 🤘🔥💯
Looks like it good great overall throttle authority. Appreciate you covering this craft! Lol the gentleman roll call 😂
Heh, gentlemen. That's pretty funny. Holy crap that funnel at 0:55 kind of blew my mind. I've never seen a funnel that is roll axis!
Great review. Thank you very much
Cool.
Thanks for the review and great flying.
Good design overall but 08XX are a deal breaker because we all know that 08XX and open props are not a good match .
interesting, I didn’t know. which motors would you suggest to improve thing? thanks!
I thought that gep was on flywoo and iflights tail until I saw this lol its still a little beast though but I am with you 100% about the 08XX and thumb props and in my opinion I feel like anything more than 1s should have an xt30 ✌
@@pgabrieli 1102 18000kv HQ biblades / H8 biblades / AZI triblades 1.5mm hub or cheaper way if you wanna stick to 0802 ..uarv 0802 19000kv with 1.5mm shaft .
@@tarkusxfpv8010 thanks, man. damn, I have so much to learn! 😂👍
@@tarkusxfpv8010 sorry, I just re-read your answer. what makes the UARV 0802 more suitable than others? you said the 08xx motors and open props don't go well together. thanks again
Nice flying. You got my sub!
Micro rip🤤🚀👏
Insane flying skills.
Отличное видео. Прекрасный фристайл!!! Благодарю )
Не за что
The stats at the start! 😂
Man you are a freak of nature!!!! 😁👍 💎👍 lol I saw you spank the nano firefly and the baby nazgul and now this!!!! you make these micros look like 5 inchers!!!! On EVERYTHING I ordered the firefly after I saw what you made it do! Then I was blown away with how you made the baby nazgul fly! I'm "almost" "Not a newbie anymore" lol and I have been looking for a micro that can really handle getting flung around and these 3 are definitely getting added to my collection after seeing you fly them! I know I am no where near your level of flying but just seeing that they can be spanked has me sold! Don't want to get off subject but what do you recommend as being the best whoop for freestyle? Honestly all I like to do is freestyle and I want a whoop....thanks for another awesome vid and INSANE acro✌
Appreciate it 👊. In my opinion, i love the 75mm 1s whoop platform for freestyle. Indoor and out. That's my daily whoop.
@@InfinityLoops thanks alot man👍 I couldn't decide on 3 different ones but now I know what I'm going with!✌
I have a sneaky suspicion that you could make anything freestyle :P
Please, review the geprc thinking p16 HD
I would love to see a video where you cant freestyle, everytime I see a vid from you now I already know the answer to the question lol
The man is a beast!!!! Lol how he makes this thing do upside down helicopters is just insane....and I still can't rewind for tish!!!! Lol he spanks everything ✌
Have you flown the newer 73mm baby nazgul with the 40mm props? If so, how do you think that one stacks up against the smart 16?
I have not tried the 73mm. That Smart16 is fun though.
Locktight the motor screws may be better than just tighting?
Absolutely. But at bare minimum, just make sure they're tightened a bit.
Is there an alternative Frame that can fit this quad’s components but is more durable? I’ve seen that the frame snaps at the motor mounts quite often
that is a shame it should be a affiliate link. because the only reason im thinking about getting it is because of this video so you would think you would get a kickback.
So now I don’t know what one to get. Armattan 1.6 or the GEPRC 1.6.
I haven't tried the Armattan, but they do make some quality stuff. Tough call.
@@InfinityLoops yea you have lol. The video is 3 months old. I just watched it on the Odonata 1.6. 😄
Oooh 😄 my bad, if you said Odonata I would have remembered. Armattan didn't design the build, it was created in NY by a smart fella that hangs out in our Discord. I didn't get that from Armattan, someone sent it to me and it was only the frame, not BnF. I still fly it when I have the weather for it. Beautiful quad. I'd take it over the GepRC, because that one is still sitting since I did the review.
Hi, you do know that you are a world class pilot, right?
Can you guess how many hours of stick time you've had, 3k, 4k, 10k?
oh I couldn't guess. I fly everyday since I joined the hobby. Real quads during the day and sim flying at night.
@@InfinityLoops Well, I don“t know when you joined the hobby but if it was 5 years ago and you really flew every day - maybe 1.5 hours on average? - that would amount to almost 3k hours of practice. I find that believable because with that kind of practice you are very experienced in any kind of activity. Thanks for your answer and keep making great videos.!
Wow, very impressive flying !
What about the noise level?
Thank you!
The noise of the props? Or the noise in the video signal?
@@InfinityLoops the noise of the props
@@ren_FPV if you're cruising, you can barely hear it. If you're full throttle it sounds a bit like an angry cat.
@@InfinityLoops so is it right to say it is just a bit more noisy than a tiny whoop?
That's pretty fair to say, yes.
Picked up just the frame from Geprc. Hope to use the jhemcu 13amp 16x16 aio board and some 08028 12000kv. Hoping for the best! Lol. Do you think 1102 would be too big on this little guy?
Most likely too big. But the other parts you mentioned sound like it should be good.
1102 is good for 2 inch props on a light build. Use GF 2023 props on 2s. That rips. Guess this frame and 40mm porps are too small for 1102
Have you ever flown the eachine novice 2? Seems pretty similar but maybe a tiny bit bigger. Flies pretty nice though. Nice little durable ripper. Too bad it only comes in a bnf kit.
I have not tried the novice 2. Don't know a whole lot about it.
@@InfinityLoops ah. Great beginner drone. Or park ripper!! 1 or 2s. But I only fly it 2s.
@@jondoe6618 It looks like a fun little thing. One you could tear up around a park without freaking anyone out.
@@InfinityLoops for sure. I wanted a inside quad. Bought the first baby naz. Kinda disappointed. Wish I’d a waited for something else. Longer flight times would be nice. Soooo close to being good.
What voltage should I use on beta flight? When I fly with full battery, the battery goes down quickly on the osd and it says low battery when I have full battery. So how do I change that?
I’m one of those on the fence between this and the iflight nano. which nazgul did you compare it to? the 73mm or the smaller one (60-something)? thanks!
The 63mm. I have yet to fly the 73mm, but I've heard it's an improvement from the 63mm.
@@InfinityLoops yes, expecially because it gives longer flight times. anyway I’m watching albert kim’s review, and even compared to the bigger baby nazgul, he says the smart16 has longer flight time and better acro capabilities. so I guess I’ll go with the geprc 😊 thanks and ciao!
I hope you like it!
Hi! I have a question, how much is it? I kind of want to get one :) when I saw it I said “ this is the one” jejeje
GEPRC has it for $135 pnp. We got the ELRS 2.4 version. May be able to find it cheaper elsewhere.
geprc.com/product/geprc-smart16-freestyle-fpv-drone/
@@InfinityLoops nice, thanks!
does it work with 530mah batteries
Any further updates on durability? Was thinking of getting this but alot of people say the arms break easy, which is not a big deal just annoying
Mine broke one arm once, bought 2 extra frames and since then did not break again -- at least not yet. But man, it worths the risk... the little thing floats easily and rips hard...
@@Imersiva how do you bind it? Is there a button on the receiver?
@@basheepy4351 mine is Crossfire so I'll describe it. When you turn the quad on, it should blink the led. Then on your rc controller you need to find where is the settings -> bind option. There is also a tiny bind button in the rx, you can try that if it does not blink. Also, I suggest you to search youtube for "crossfire bind" - or the name of your system + bind, there are videos showing that. Good luck!
Can run on 1s with a jumper in the cable ?
You could, but I don't think it would be a good idea.
Looks capable enough but I need at least 4 or 5 minute flight times.. hard pass for me
100% eh...? 😅
well well well... now you have min 1% woman power! :b
Wow, 100% male on the stats? Rough. Maybe start editing to Taylor Swift or something :P
We'll see what kind of freestyle flow we can get going with 'Shake it Off' by T.Swift🤣
Lol, « gentlemen » i knew this hobby is male dominated but 100%? Lol..
What do they call it? A sausage party? Where all the ladies at?? 😂
