The military probably already has something like this. It could probably work very well to decrease collateral damage when compared to the drone strikes we use now. You'll be able to send a single drone down and likely only kill one person

Awesome Video, I am living really close to this place and the city is building basically a new district there now. The building you flew around in and the "Conti Tower" is supposed to stay though because of monument protection. It would be awesome to see you revisit this place with lots of history!

It was this video that first got me into FPV, a few months on and i realize just how precise the flying is in this video and appreciate it way more. The hole dive in the roof after no setup is something i think only steele will ever be able to do. its one thing to view these videos having never attempted Fpv its another to risk drone destruction once you know whats at stake. im re-liking this video

Skill ceiling for fpv is literally infinite, keep at it you'll get there 🙃
1:55 - 3 years on, do you still think that hole dive in the roof is something only Steele will be able to do?
Not to minimize the incredible skill Steele is displaying, but to me, it seems like you'd approach that hole gap with some excess throttle, flip, and then dial in your approach speed as you close in with throttle post-flip. That way, you can actively aim the drone until you're hitting the gap. While this is a very tough maneuver to pull off, I do not see why any highly-skilled pilot could not also succeed at it.

I was in an building similar to this when I was younger and it was dark and suddenly there was an echoing bang from the level above. That was enough for me and my 2 friends to run from there as fast as we could! This video just reminded me of that fear adrenaline fuelled excitement. No drones needed ha ha.

The potential for military applications is horrifying. Imagine each pilot controlling multiple explosive drones.
On the plus side there’s gonna be lots of cool drone racing for years to come. Also search and rescue benefits are huge here.
@Hatwox They already have drone pilots that do this. Unmanned death aircraft remote controlled by Airforce pilots that will never operate anything other than a remote drone. Supposedly these still get PTSD from the possibly safest job position in military ever.

They are better used for observation to call in artillery or missile strikes. It lets the forward observers or mortar team get precise target data and immediately adjust fire and direct infantrymen. Ground is no good if you can’t hold it with boots on the ground.
@G E T R E K T I believe that PTSD can be separated into sub categories to get a better understanding.
From what I've heard about the drone pilots, it's similar to a PTSD a long distance sniper would get with his spotter. You have to be stalking your prey for a while to confirm they are the correct target to destroy. They say that they watch how the target lives for a while, get to know their family from a distance and that makes it much harder to kill them, and causes more mental damage after.
I believe the "survival" aspect of PTSD is different from this. You don't get this type of PTSD from long distance engagements where there is little to no risk to your life like a foot soldier would get. This type of PTSD is adapting for survival in a dangerous environment where you have to be hyper alert all the time. The solders come back and they remain in that constant hyper alert scanning for threats in a supermarket and it wears them out. It's why I say it's a different type of PTSD that may not actually be "traumatic" in a sense.

I was once afraid of weaponized drones with fully automated flight and dribble capabilities. Now I'm genuinely afraid of a back-flipping tea-bagging human-flown weaponized drone :(
I think most weapons are too heavy for a small drone like this and they lose agility when they gain size
