Its a drag bike, needs to be geared for maximun acceleration in 660ft. So you should gear it to reach maximun rpm by the 650 - 655ft mark. Also dont forget aerodinamics and weight are everything. Nice buid as usual guys.

And I was120 lbs, I ran 8.80 at 73 mph , 400 stroker crank , bored 140 over titanium valves, FBG carburetor, the engine was built by one of the best at the time, put out roughly 28 hp. We ran a polar clutch, I'd of loved to put that engine on a mini bike,

They sold you Av100 at the airport? Last time I went, years ago, they wouldn't sell me any, that stuff smells sooo good!! It has additional oxygen, so going up a jet size or 2-3, help make more power, race has is crazy now, you are better off going to e85, or straight methanol, as far as racing, I saw vp 104 5 gallons $250, that's crazy, serious insanity!! What I wish someone would do. Is cast a gear box, that would use popular motorcycle internals, with a 1" keyed input shaft. Keeping the original splined output, using a modified motorcycle engine waste so much space, maybe have a input on both sides, it shouldn't cost that much, maybe machine and weld a motor cycle case , to make a pattern cast it withe scrap aluminum rims and such from a salvage yard. , Maybe a few old pistons, it would likely make a decent alloy , plenty strong, and Harley transmissions are too expensive!! But a old Chinese motorcycle would make a decent starting point , (possibly) maybe a quad trans, to get reverse! I wish I had access to a mill and lathe, and tig welder, I'd give it a try!! 😳
A 15+ HP minibike, with 5speeds that would be awesome, I saw the gears for a Chinese 250cc motorcycle for sale new somewhere, maybe all the other bits would also be available!! Then it could be. Built with new parts!!

Don't use oil on the needle bearings or the thrust needle bearing behind the sprocket use Vaseline, oil if it gets on ur clutch will burn it up on that clutch clean it with acetone after every couple of uses and also clean and relube the needle bearings with Vaseline, makes a huge difference on longevity if u service it properly I have a Bully clutch the most widely known highest selling disc clutch made in the kart racing community, I service my clutch before every race day which is every other weekend and I never wash my go kart with the disc on because it will rust between the levers and pressure plate then u clutch won't disengage and I won't wear evenly because so will be stuck and some won't so it will warp the plates
