I’m getting myself a few gears to play with for my 240cc small block build(59mm stroker crank) I have the juggernaut and the juggernaut upgrade kit for higher RPM so I got myself a 37 tooth for the rear and 10 on the torque converter . So I’m gonna get a 50 and a 56 and play with it. I wanna be able to hop on the highway if I plan for it and keep up without topping out so bad that I have to back off constantly. I’m hoping with 240cc I can pull a 3.7 gear ratio and get it up there around 75mph
Ok well I’ll let you know within the next few days I have exactly that. I have a 10 on right now and I’m getting 55 all day so when I change it like u said I should be at 70 easily
I think its gonna have more top speed then the 330 cam…i will say 68mph…you got really lucky with that flat tire dude😳. Thats the only thing i worry about while doing a top speed run is how long will these tires hold up for???
Can't . Turbos need an oil pump and oil cooler other wise it will burn up or just super heat the oil and the motor will blow plus they don't have enough exhaust flow to power one . .there was a guy who put a turbo on a predator vtwin and it barely made 3 hp over stock lol
the 265 SHOULD be quicker, it has less duration which means more low end torque. It's why i run a stock cam. I can DESTROY most bikes off the line with the same gearing as me.
They both do 60's. Bigger cam needs more valve spring pressure perhaps 55lb or 60lb duals with a slight gear drop for that big 330. No way the cam can spin 9k+ and i'm only doin 60.
Both cams used the reccomened spring package. If a lower gear ratio was used you could get a lot more RPM out of the 330 cam than the bike was turning with this ratio in this video.

Did you set the timing to what each cam calls for i run a 275 superman cam on my nonhemi with 34degreed of timing and it flys on my dirt kart in the stock appearing class

As for the top speed on your bike,… I’d say 5mph faster tops. I’m using a GPS welded lobe 260 duration 285 lift cam for my 240 and I have 1.2 EC Rev Rockers so I’m hoping to put some power down and try to match some of your times. Get my cam from GPS and let me see what your motors can do with it
Yo Black 66 I made it to where the govenor is pulled all the way with the hand throttle on the Doodlebug stock how would I make it faster what clutch would be the best that would fit a stock chain?
Get you a 60-65 tooth sprocket on back That should give you about 10 mph faster Vm22 slide carb 32$ Header pipe and exhaust 35$ You’ll double the speed and power
Does anyone know why my 275 cam bike with stock billet rod and 22lb springs is slower then my stock cam bike??? both same gearing. Do i upgrade my 1:1 rockers?? Cuz i thought i didn't need too.
Hey has anyone tried to do a mountain bike gear stack on a mini bike? What’s different about that that makes it so we can’t just use one with the gear switch off the mountain bike and everything?? Seriously I wanna know because it’s haunting me
I thought about it more and it would have to be made but the idea is already there to make it off of. Just needs to be made for 40/420 or 35 chain and spaced properly for that and I’m certain it can work. I’m sure someone is already working on cashing in on that idea. Someone with the means either needs to or hurry up with whatever they already started

Spring install height is key to the rpms

I would say it's about the combo. If the parts arnt there to support the bigger cam then it most definitely could be slower.

I use a Dragy performance meter for 0 to 30 times and digiHUD on the phone for top speed.
