The square “oven glove” is called a potholder and you can either use it to take things out of the oven or you can set it on the counter then put a hot pot or pan on top and it protects the counter
Yeah if you're not strong enough to take some heavy things from the oven with just one glove, I sure am not😅
To reiterate, it doubles as an oven mitt and a trivet (hot pot/pan coaster). As a trivet, you can also place it on your dining table when you want to serve your dishes straight from the pan. :)
FREDDY 📣 can’t they use the removed golden fabric (the beautifully opulent one) from the chaise to redo the one red chair you liked?? i think that would go so well in your closet and it’s definitely too precious to waste! 🦢✨

Consider putting an area rug under the dining table/chairs. It helps define the space from the living room
I've never understood rugs under dining tables, because it might look nice, but surely it would get dirty from any food falling on it and be much harder to clean then just a wooden floor?

Freddie, not hating but to be honest, I believe the problem in the bathroom are those wall tiles. I think they’re a bit dated and don’t go with the vibe of the rest of the decor. I know it’s too late and too expensive to re-tile but they could be spray painted with tile paint :( The apartment is looking amazing and I’m looking forward to a full tour when it’s totally furnished. You and your family have worked so hard on it. Are you going to have a “new home” party? 🍾🥂💃🏡🎉
Ugh I agree! I LOVE her home and all of her design choices but the bathroom tile looks so… grubby? It’s so dated and doesn’t fit in with her home or even embody the beauty that SHE is. It’s like the tile is brining down her and everything she’s created. I hope she agrees :(

I think the tile is beautiful and it reminds me of a luxurious Roman bath
You might consider having the stairs and high traffic areas Scotch-guarded. The process helps protect against dirt and stains. White carpeting will get filthy immediately...

The gold accent paint in the bedroom paneling made a huge difference. It looks amazing 💝 I would definitely paint the ceiling rose as well.

1. You take all time you need to move in and decorate. Everyone is on your timeline as a homeowner.
2. You should wear that light tan color more often, it looks GORG on your skin.
3. The carpet color so very your esthetic! As someone with a similar carpet color, may I suggest that everyone take their shoes off at the base of the stairs? It can get dirty quickly otherwise.
4. A Coco sighting made this even better! Your family is really lovely, supportive, and talented.

Freddie: as a general rule, gilded plates, stemware, etc., should be hand washed. Dishwasher detergents often are too abrasive and will etch and remove any gilding. That applies to your flatware as well. Sorry!!
Also never put the plates in the microwave because they will spark

I'm seriously about to write an essay. You being so excited about the carpet made me so happy; I am also a carpet lover. It really does just make everything so cozy. I loved the Swan chair and (maybe this is the video) but I think the current fabric looks really beautiful in the lounge. The swan overall is so beautiful though. The bathroom will work itself out; everything else has : D. This apartment is becoming more and more of a dream and I cannot wait to see how amazing it will look when furnished! My favorite was the statue of the lady. No wait, it was the chaise with the swan. Ohhh, I don't know. I love it all!!! Love the extra detail of the gold on the decorations. I love how hard you are willing to work to get things exactly the way you want. It is truly amazing.

Love the brass fixtures. An electrician taught me you’re supposed to make all the screws going in the same direction, either vertical or horizontal, not in every direction. I like horizontal.
Really enjoy watching your decorating process! We have very different tastes (I like lots of black, green, silver and light wood tones) but that makes it really fun to see what your ideas are.

The square partner of the "oven glove" is a pot holder. You can put your hot pans on top of it, and use it to hold hot things. It's like a cover to protect your countertop and table from heat.
That white carpet makes it look like heaven. You should play harp music when entering the front door 😇💖

I've been thinking of what to say in my comment one thing is Freddy I watch lots of vlogs where people decorate their houses and to me you are in a different class your decor and styling are just gorgeous I seriously think you could do this for a living using all the colours and textures etc that you love! I think you will be so happy in your flat and I know the lounge is not finished, but it's seriously delicious that's the sort of words I want to use. I think on a cold and rainy day when you come home the flat will be like the softest pink, creamy gold cloud that will wrap it's arms around you. (That's why I don't make comments often because it sounds silly maybe, but still it is how I feel).
