Occasionally I am lucky enough to be sent products/clothing free of charge by PR companies, meaning, I may not have paid for everything I talk about. I am not in ANY way obligated to mention these products and if I have done so, it is because I genuinely like them. I would NEVER talk about or show something I didn't genuinely love.
Sometimes, I may be sponsored by brands for videos. I turn down 90% of sponsorship opportunities. I will not accept unless I love the brand/product already. All products/items will still have been chosen by myself, and the video concept will always be my own idea. I would never endorse a brand/product that I didn't truly love and believe in.
I use affiliate links in the description box of this channel. This means I earn a very small percentage when you purchase a product I recommend- the same way a sales associate in a store earns commission when they help you select a product. This does not in any way affect the price you pay for the item, and absolutely does not influence my choice of items to show you.
Lots of love,
Freds x
Hi Freddy! I would suggest buying a vertical shoe stand for the cupboard near the front door. Not only to store your trainers, but leave spare spaces for guests, and then you don’t have to worry about your beautiful cream carpet getting dirty. In Russia, we wear house slippers and keep spares for guests. You can buy bulk white hotel slippers and just wash them after guests have used them.
What is your mom's channel....making your curtains....
If you want to get dressed efficiently every day, I would put all the clothes that you need in one place. Having your undies in the bedroom means you will have to open that closet to get them and then head to the walk in to get the rest of your clothes - I see an opportunity to get rid of an extra step. I would personally move the coats to the biggest closet in the walk in (that way you don't have to separate them all AND that closet can be like the fancy/finishing touches/accessories for when you go out), put the spring wardrobe in your room and put the occasion wear with the Christmas decorations since that closet is the "storage" closet. It is impractical to me that the precious prime real estate closest to your bathroom is being used on things you won't wear everyday. This is just my 2 cents but of course its your closet! 😊
Tbh, I think fitting another shoe rack somewhere would be a good investment of space and money. Maybe the christmas decoration could be stored somewhere else? Do you have a cellar for once-a-year stuff like that? After all, you are probably going to get more shoes in the future :) your flat looks reeeally nice so far!
Hi everyone, UA-cam is still processing the HD version of the video as I didn’t upload in advance tonight! If you try a bit later it will be HD!
I am almost 60 and just turned a spare room into my dressing room. I hav3 my handbags displayed, my antique vanity from grandmother, and a dressy display and longer item in the closet. Everyone is shocked when they come over! I love it, and I love yours! You are in the right road, keep going! Hugs and love from Texas! I can5 wait to see the rest of it!
Where will boyfriends clothes go? Xx
The quality is still low :(
Why is the your sis coco is not aploading video
It's nice seeing you barefoot in your house rather than wearing shoes and will stain your beautiful carpet. maybe wear house slippers. As an Asian saying this. 😄
someone’s probably already said this but based on your original plan, maybe put the christmas decorations in with the linens and towels and then get a shoe rack for the coat closet so that you don’t have to worry about shoes being mixed in with your clothes.
For your drawers I can’t recommend enough the Marie kondo method for folding. You can see each item of clothing and it really maximises the space!!
Watching your hands on willingness to do whatever is necessary to get your new home just right is another fabulous layer of who you are!! "Nutcracker" on display year round works for me 🤗
If you store pairs of shoes with the left or right the opposite way, you will fit in 5 pairs per row. It might not look as good for the first row, but perhaps for the back rows.
You should get some white baskets for the shelves since they are so deep.
Just to give you an idea: I would switch the coat cabinet and occasionwear cabinet. So that way your fall/winter clothes would be in the same place. But thats the virgo in me speaking 😂
I would make dust bags for your over the knee boots so they don't get your clothes dirty or cause color discoloration.
For all your tops and leggings in the draws, you should try the rolling technique so you can see all the items at once!
Freddy’s walk in wardrobe reminds me of the wardrobe Mia gets at the palace in princess diaries
I'll be looking for my first non-rented flat (or maybe even a cute little house!) with my boyfriend this fall and I really hope I have that same overwhelming feeling of just knowing I'll live there! We are moving back to our home city from where we went to university at the end of the month and then it's house hunting time! You should try Marie-Kondo folding the silk scarves into cute lil bundles so you can see them all at a glance! They'd fit beautifully in that little shelf partition folded and stood up on edge like that!
