I am trying to list my product in the same category as my competition. When I try to choose these categories / sub categories, Amazon recommends me other categories and won't allow me to choose the ones where my competition is. How can I bypass this? If I can't, is this going to affect my listing? Thank you!!

UPC codes are required for every product you'll be selling on Amazon. This number will be entered in the Product ID field, and you will not be able to move forward with listing your item without a UPC. Under Placement Service Fee, what does Inbound Region mean and where should I send the inventory as it gives option of East, Central and West being the most expensive one. Also, "Estimated Shipping Fees" changes due to location. Looks like Amazon-optimized shipment split has no placement fee and its the cheapest option. Whats the catch there? Thanks.
Hi Ahmed! It would be best to contact Seller Support if you have doubts about fees, but we'll do our best to cover what we know. The "Send/Replenish Inventory" refers to adding stock of the item and sending in more products that can be listed for sale. The Inbound region is the area most likely chosen for your goods to arrive. The region is chosen based on your shipping plan/importer. the fees will change because different areas and warehouses charge differently. Amazon does spread your inventory in order to help deliver it. These decisions are solely made by Amazon.
Delivered duty paid (DDP) is a shipping agreement that places the maximum responsibility on the seller. In addition to shipping costs, the seller is obligated to arrange for import clearance, tax payment, and import duty.Then you still need a freight forwarder

Or one that is lower in its category.. in addition, if a supplier has a new version of this products that you haven’t seen before on Amazon. Would you take the shoot since there is no need to improve something innovative (posted last week)
New products are always great! There is nothing to improve on right off the bat. Otherwise, try getting everything into the top 100 - then work on going up from there!

Hiya! Amazon sets you up with an account on the marketplaces you choose; however most are actually regional accounts like North America or European, which have multiple marketplaces together. This allows you to sell in one or more marketplaces and not pay multiple fees. You only have to sell in the marketplace you choose - no pressure to join or sell in others :)

You can use the supplier database and do a product name search to look for a supplier. Also. if the brand name doesn't have a trademark then you can sell using your own brand name as on Amazon.

I suggest reaching out to Seller Support to get more information about why your first application was denied. From there try fixing the issue before you can try re-applying.

I'm trying to change the color name of my variation. But it is giving me this message. "update the value to match the ASIN data. If this is a different product, update identifying information" It is not a different product. I just want a different variation name to use. The listing is not live yet.
Found a good forum thread that may be helpful in your case. What I found to work most of the time is making sure the new variation isn't using the same UPC/GTIN as the older variation. If that's not the case, you could also look at submitting an inventory file to fix the issue. However if that doesn't work as well, I have always found that using a new UPC and SKU number works. To be exempt from paying sales tax when placing an order on Alibaba, you must apply for the Alibaba US Sales Tax Exemption Program. If you have a resale certificate with your state or a federal EIN number for you business, you can be exempt from paying US sales tax on Alibaba.
You cannot sell on Amazon if you are under 18-years old. In order to sign a contract, you need to be 18. However, the only alternative to this is to have your parents or guardians setup a company that you can then use to sell items on Amazon FBA

You may need to write to Seller support to see why you can't access certain categories. It won't harm you but it's best to be in the right category

in your p&l statement in this video, i didnt see the product/inventory cost in it? am i missing something?
In the Jungle Scout's P&L, product/inventory cost is called "Unit Cost" which is the first line item under Cost of Goods. Hope that helps 🙂

There is no limit but open a new case to see if you can get a specific answer and help before applying again!
