Excellent Video of the process. But, do you think I can do the job without removing the floor boards? Mine are red lock tighted on from the factory apparently. Will not budge even after heating the nuts. Plus I fear the star head will strip. It appears that I can get to the pin without removing the brake lever and when I remove the pin that the brake lever will just move down or up enough to clear the rotating adjustment mechanism. What do you think? Thank you, Larry
Shifter you can adjust 2 ways depending how much you want to move it up or down. You can remove shifter from the shaft and move it one groove (most of the time it is too much) or I will suggest adjusting mounting points on shifter rod for fine adjustment. Hope this helps.

Thank you,

I doubt it you can try to remove floorboards with brackets
Did the brake pedal shaft move?
No you just add washer to get this adjustment done.
Nice video. Good to know that thin washer makes such a big difference. Is the shifter adjustment on the other side a similar process?

Shifter adjustment is a three part system I just did mine. Doc Harley has a great video on shifter adjustments.
Thanks for the comment and glad you enjoyed the video. Ride safe brother
