@@alexm2930 I didn't find NLDW to be that intimidating honestly. I'd say it might be one of their more accessible releases for hip hop/electronic listeners. Imo The Money Store is more challenging, especially on the instrumental end. I find the stripped back instrumentation on NLDW is easier to get into and if not put off by Ride's aggressive vocals I can see people getting down to it pretty easily (relative to other releases anyway.)

For me the first 4 tracks is basically the most weird shit they could make and then they give you a slight break with eh and then throw you into the depths of hell for the rest of the album
Mine has to be The Powers That Be or Bottomles Pit. Very hardcore tracks off of each for sure. I immediately think of The Powers That Be, Hot Head, Giving Bad People Good Ideas, and Inanimate Sensation when it comes to the hardcore shit. Some of those tracks sound like some metal almost. As a metal head, it clicked with me immediately.
I too had a spiritual experience listening to this album, I now worship balloon eyed tongue lady. Also worthy of note there was a Death Grips Track released immediately after this album called 'More than the Fairy" and it features Les Claypool on bass. It is absolutely amazing, I suggest adding it as a prelude to reacting to the 'Steroids (Crouching Tiger Hidden Gabber Megamix)' track which is imo the most chaotic music I've ever experienced. If you loved Bottomless Pit you will most definitely enjoy how sinister and strange that 22 minutes of pure bliss is :)

Someone else recommended Year Of The Snitch. A lot of highs, and a bit of lows. 2nd or 3rd worse album imo. The Fear, Death Grips is Online, Dilemma, Flies, Streaky, and especially Hahaha are some of their best songs ever. But Little Richard, Linda's In Custody, Shitshow(the intro is cool af tho), and the Horn Section feel kinda meh to me. What I will definitely give this album is the insanely good use of samples. You'll definitely love it!
