I've been looking at these for while now. I hope you do a follow up video after a few trips to let us know what you learn from using it for some time. Great install video! Looks like a pretty simple install. 👍
Great explanation. Our Haloview will arrive this weekend. No side cameras, just rear observation. I hope our install is just as smooth. Good news about the Furrion holes matching up. We have a similar situation with the rear Ferrion camera housing.
I sold our Furrion with our previous TT. I went brought this same exact camera but no side cameras. Love the 1080P visual and night visual. And exterior rear camera easily clicks up & down for manual adjustment. I hear some saying the sound doesn't turn off? I have yet to hear anything. Our Furrion didn't give a good bright image in daylight. Where as this camera is bright and clear.
We got to use it once taking our Rv in hour trip to Rv dealership for warranty work lol. We can’t wait to “really” get to use it for real! I did go ahead and mount the monitor and route the power cable through the dash. Very nice clean install now!
I do not think that you had to tap into or cut the wires from your Furrion camera connection. when I installed my BT7 rear camera on my E Pro 15TB that was pre-wired for Furrion I used the supplied adapter wire that came in the Haloview kit. It has one end that plugs into the smaller pin connection of the Furrion and the other end plugs into the BT7. Total length of adaptive wire is aprox 6 inches. I very recently installed mine (April, 2023) so maybe the early BT7 units do not have them in the box. You can purchase them however from Haloview or Amazon.
Thank you for your video! We just bought one tonight and your video helped in making the decision. You mentioned "extra wiring" for the turn cameras.. How *would* you go about that? Is a wire missing that you'd have to thread?
I believe you just run a separate wire for each side to trigger the side cams. I may go back and try that. But right now our Rv is in the shop having warranty work done. 🙁 thanks!!!
I’m thinking about getting a dash mount set up then trying to run the wire down through the firewall and into one of our upfitter switch wire under the hood. If I do I’ll def make a vid or add in a vid. 😁
I've had three Haloview systems in 3 years and my latest one just died. I did get one system free but paid for the other two I paid for. Done all the prescribed trouble shooting and engaged emails with headquartesr in Hong Kong. At this point it appears to be junk.
@@AlliChuckAdventures I guess it didn't match the furion as thought off. Oh well nice job. I plan to get the fookoo myself. I just bought a 29' wildwood 24 RLXL so since the camper is not that long just need a back camera. I do have a camera on my truck for the hitch that I installed .it's a separate monitor but the fookook has a 7" screen and it adjust to the light especially at night with no delay. So I see it exactly as it happens. And it also has a furion plug and play I think.lol nice video
@@AlliChuckAdventuresi thought this is a furrion ? The cable in the instructions said furrion they just change the name all the hardware is made the same
Can’t speak for the quality of this off shore camera but you made a nice video . Hope you have no problems with this set up .
Thanks

I will absolutely be doing some follow ups on how they work actually going down the road and back into sites. It really was a pretty simple install.

Awesome! You should have really no issues except maybe fitting the camera connection like I did. But I just drilled it out a little and it fit. 😁

Awesome!!! We will be testing it out tomorrow as we will be taking her in for warranty work and getting our slide finally fixed!
Would be nice to buy something made in the USA with good customer support when needed .
Love my Haloview camera but I only have one. I might need to upgrade now lol.
Side cams are nice!!
Haloview seems appropriate. Because sometimes those lane changes come with a little prayer.
GOBBLESS
Hahahaha
AMEN HOSS
I haven't made the leap to a camera system yet. As I continue to plan longer trips I think I may need to install a system.
I wanted one ever since we got the Jayco but furrion way pricey.

No I didn’t seen anything in the box. But good to know and thanks!
@@AlliChuckAdventures Ten four. BTW good review!

Nice install video. How are you going to hardwire mount your monitor in your Ford? I have same truck and am curious. Thanks

@@AlliChuckAdventures that would be a great video. Look forward to it. thanks!
I think I’m gonna work on it this weekend.
How did you go about getting the inner screws off the furrion mount? Just dig them out from under the sealant?
Yup. That’s what I did
@@AlliChuckAdventures Awesome, thanks. I'll give that a try tomorrow.

That sucks! Dang. We don’t have ours anymore as we traded up to a motor home. Liked it while we had it but not sure how long it would have lasted.
Why did you rewire the back camera? I thought all you had to do was take the plate off and plug the camera in . Unless they didn't match
No didn’t match. One is furrion one is Haloview

Better than Furrion and I’ll tell you why. The speaker is always on for my Furrion and I always hear static on it. No way to turn it off. 👎
I think it’s better than a furrion all the way around to especially the fact that you can record on an SD card
@@AlliChuckAdventuresi thought this is a furrion ? The cable in the instructions said furrion they just change the name all the hardware is made the same
I can’t figure out the wiring for the life of me!!!
Wish I could help out but we sold that Rv this past summer. I don’t remember having an issue though. If memory serves. It was just plug and play.
