I installed an Owl Eye 360 on my RV about 6 years ago. They had a RV version with extra long cables. The installation was pretty easy but the calibration was a pain. The system worked great EXCEPT for the small 4-wire round connectors. One at a time they all failed. So, one at a time, I cut off the connectors and hardwired everything. I never had any issues since. I love the 360 system. Yes, I use my mirrors but having a single place to glance to get a 360 comprehensive view of what's around me. I did use the turn signal inputs and really appreciated having the 360 view bias towards my turn.

RVS(Rear View Safety) has a couple of quality 360 cameras. I installed one on my motorhome and it works as well as any factory one. It also records all of the cameras while they are on. They are a little expensive but so is the motorhome you are trying to protect!

Hey man. Love your videos. Just bought our first RV. Learning a lot from you. Very grateful. If you love those crimp on wire nuts. You will like “wire beanies” for the tiny low voltage wires. I used them as a young man for a low voltage company. Never seen them before then or since anywhere else. But I’ve kept them around for the rest of my life for the tiny wires.

That’s pretty sweet actually but not sure I could drill in the side of my Prevost. I have side and movable rear camera it is pretty good. But not as good as a Birdseye.🙈
My 2007 has the side and rear cameras but they are circa early 2000's. Any 2024 camera would be a huge upgrade but the 360 Birds Eye once you use one and see it on newer cars it is very helpful. I can only imagine the usefulness on a 45' camper. Thanks for your videos as usual.
Well done, as always. Tempted to get something like that for my car. Would love to have had video recorded on all 4 sides when KS troopers pulled me over claiming I wandered onto the shoulder line, as an excuse to do a traffic stop in April. Quickly followed by a canine trooper whose dog of course alerted for drugs, when there were none. At least 4 cop cars, with 3 or 4 cops rummaging through my car on a warrantless search for about 15 minutes, finding nothing of course in their 30+ minutes of hassling me. So I'm thinking 4 front/inside dashcams for starters, one in each direction. And 4 externals for birds eye would be good too. Insurance claims or hitting a curb are the least of our problems with cops out there making stuff up to justify pawing through everything in your vehicle. I was lucky they didn't plant drugs, they were so intent on finding some, now that they have pot-loving states on both sides.
@EfficientRVer: Our motorcycle group in California had a former CHP member who would always mention when the traffic stop conversation came up: "Remember, it's not what we find in your vehicle that's important. It's what we leave in your vehicle that's important"! Wow! From an actual LEO who swore an oath to uphold the Constitution. Always blew me away! So, Joe is rummaging and leaves something for Fred to find a few minutes later.
Ummm, the connectors. On those exterior cameras are what we know as, S-Video, connectors. That use four wires. 2 for black-and-white. 2 for color. In high resolution. With the required power, superimposed, piggyback. In the video wire, to the cameras. As you likely found those through a, professional video equipment supply company. I reckon. I love your shows. And it's thanks to you. I recently purchased this, 22-year-old, 2002, Monaco, Knight. 34 PST, rare, short, diesel pusher. With 65,100 miles on the odometer. Everything inside, 100% stock, looking like new. Everything works. Purchased from a very elderly couple. Who owned it for only the past 4, years. Who purchased it from another, elderly woman whose husband had died. They cared for this thing like their baby. Nothing worn out, abuse, broken. Nothing modified. No holes in the wall. Everything beautiful natural, stained woods. Nothing cracked. Nothing warped. Nothing puckered. And the exterior looks great. The roof could use a cleaning. I'm glad it'll give me something to do. As there is really nothing to do. It's in such beautiful condition. And I figured for $25,000 cash. I got something that will last. As I keep everything a very long time. I take excellent care of my property. To make things last. As this is sort of like, subjecting your house. To an all day, Earthquake. Every single day. And not expecting any damage. How unrealistic can you get? As you'll be lucky to have a place to sleep. When you get to where you were going. If it hasn't fallen off. Underneath you. I think for a serious nomad. A, Class-A, diesel pusher. Is, the way to go. You may not do as much, dirt OffRoading. In a low ground clearance, Class-A. These are not off-road vehicles for, OffRoading. These are really meant for pavement. Class-B & C's. More adept at OffRoading. Higher ground clearance. Big oversize chunky tires. Far less weight. All-wheel-drive options. So I shan't be doing much, OffRoading with my 30,000 pound, diesel pusher. With pavement style ground clearance. As it's just that and a, powered mountain bicycle. I'm not interested in towing anything. Though I have in the past and I could. I don't like backing up. Backing up is not an option. I am not interested. In, backing up. And that's not if but when. Plus I really love my short, 34 footer. Though it has no real basement storage capabilities. That is abysmal. Abysmally small. Not like the bigger units. That half, ample basement storage. This unit almost none. Less than my, 30 foot, 1986, Fleetwood Southwind Gasser. Which actually had a lot more, storage area under the coach. And with 3 slide outs. Out of the 4 possible. It could have been ordered with. I figured 3 out of 4, ain't bad. The exterior paint and graphics look great. And no gaudy colors. Shades of eggshell white, light gray, dark gray and black. It looks very classy and very stealth. Just my style. I really couldn't have ordered one better for myself. As I had almost gotten a 2006, Monaco Dynasty. Which was huge. For a lot less money. But the house next door to it. Burn it down. And it got a little hot. In places. Then the refrigerator burst into flames. But was quickly extinguished. So it had a little damage. And was only $10,000. But decided to pass on that one. It was not ready for immediate prime time usage. And that would have been wild to own. It's a full 2 bedroom apartment on wheels. But it's only for me and me, alone. As an old widow of 69. In the smaller one is easier to maneuver. Easier to get into National Parks. And is great for a single, retired, person. To be driving around a luxurious 1 bedroom apartment. That appears to be hardly lived in, ever. And the 2 old couples. Only drove it 65,000 miles. In 22 years. The couple I purchased it from work 88 and 85 years of age respectively. He purchased it when he was 84. They usually don't get, too wild or destructive. At that age. The couple before them purchased it in their 60s. There appears to be no child or grandchild, damage, committed. And no one has broken anything. From using excessive force or usage. Just what you want in a beautiful used perfectly great motorhome. And I largely have you, sir. And you are UA-cam, channel. To thank for this. Then Liz Amazing also. You 2 guys are responsible for my purchasing decision. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And thank you. For your concerted efforts. Now the marvelous education you have provided me with. And so there is a good chance. I shall look you up in Arizona. To stop on by. And check me out. Or, at least my, New Used, Motorhome. And we could do lunch. I'm buying. Just, so you know. And whatever else you charge. For your services. I really haven't found anything wrong with it. Maybe you won't either? I haven't found any leaks, any mold. It's pristine. I have found that one slide out, long rubber seal. That could use some improvement. It's starting to let go. On the inside kitchen. And dining table slide out. There are no outside amenities. Which is fine. Other than the awnings. Oh I'm sure you will find something. That should be addressed and/or improved, modified, upgraded. Yes! It's all in how much I have, to spend, that month. Resources are greatly limited. Called money. As I'm doing something I really can't afford to do. And it's a financial juggling act. And I'm good on the compromise. I'm a lifelong camper. It's all my parents fault. I so love them for that. May they rest in peace. Now without, the tent, station wagon, van or camper. Now with the, Central Park West, apartment on wheels. It's bonkers, it's so nice. So perfect. So like new. I think a great deal for $25,000 cash. And so it was really your 2001, Beaver that sold me on the Monaco. And your profound history. Thank you. You are my lifelong friend now. And I am your Subscriber. You made a profound difference for me. I made this may not be quite as nice as your Beaver. But it's damn close. Though it's got the stupid radiators, in the back. Not on the side. Engine access. From the floor. Of my overstuffed closet. Of course. But beggars can't be choosers. When I only had $25,000 to spend. So I could not get your Beaver. I have my own Beaver. And I'm a woman with a Monaco. So I got both. One for me and one to drive. And that has worked out, great. And my bags, still inflate. Then I can push the button on the dash. Then hear them. Hissing, like a bunch of, angry snakes under my rig. And then it goes limp. Then settles down a bit. The levelers work. But I don't think automatically? I think I had a couple of, intermittent's with the automatic transfer switch? A couple of times early on. Until I started using it more and again. Now it hasn't done that in a number of connections and generator operations, again. And I later. Worked the manual, circular, transfer switches. Working slowly a couple of times around. To ensure any crud was dislodged. I've got 2 new, chassis batteries. But I am having some intermittency. With the windshield wiper switch. It is no longer reliable. It's shot. It needs replacement. Or, an external retrofit. I absolutely hate, the lousy back up, alone. I want more cameras. Better cameras. Recordable, cameras. And maybe a 360°, camera system. Yeah, in high-resolution color. And infrared capabilities. I'm an old woman. And I don't want to crunch anything. I did that a couple of times. With my other motorhome. I got that out of my system. I do not need to crunch anything, anymore, ever, again. I will not try to beginning into tight spaces. There is no real reason for that. I can have other fun. I will not risk my home again. Especially with 3 slide outs. It's very difficult. Driving with the slides, out. It rocks side to side a lot more. Great with the music up loud. But people tell me I should have them in. Why? They slide out. No? Not when you're driving? But it gives me more room to walk to the bathroom. Once I put it in cruise control. As it has a tendency. To drift out of its lane. If I'm not saying on to the stupid, steering wheel. We cruise control on. So the cruise control does not work correctly. I cannot go to the bathroom. With the video in motion. At the slides out. So that needs to be looked at. Either way I will likely make it to Arizona in one piece. On my motorhome. I think? As it's so nice outside. Why should I be in the motorhome I'm driving it? I would like to put any modification. So that I could drive it from the roof, outdoors. I will be able to get a better tan that way. As long as I make enough turns. You know? To keep it even. But I can not lie down while I'm driving. Unless I can prop my head up more. Maybe you can help me with that? Or, I'll just do it from inside the coach. But that won't be as much fun. Oh well. I don't have that much money to spend, anyhow. So, never mind. I'll buy lunch. I love your channel. Keep it going. You are great! RV Expert A Z. Thanks for everything. RemyRAD
Looking at Amazon now the BVD06 360 camera shows with an RV not just a car or truck. It also looks like it has longer cables. I could be wrong on that though.
You're not wrong, but James explains about that in the video. He said he couldn't find the system he installed on Amazon anymore, so he linked the closest one he could find, and it is for larger vehicles. Alaway watch the whole video, James is very thorough, and you'll learn a lot!
Hi James. Great video. I need to make this upgrade to my ‘07 Navigator. Also….Ive noticed that like me, you always have an XL Polar Pop from circle K in the background. It really is the best deal with the rewards or sip save program…just had to point that out. Hahaha. Thanks for sharing. 👍
As usual, amazing execution of your RV Upgrade! Cool Forward Looking Infrared Tool!!! 🤩 That top down "Birds Eye View" is amazing and great way to bring visibility to the typical RV Blind Spots! Enjoy your new electronic! It was great watching the install!! ~Big C in the DP 📢 ::: Air Horn 📢 ::: ::: Air brakes! ::: 🚌🚌🚌
I have the same exact radio and love it (thanks to your video). Nice to know I could add some cameras in the future. My wireless rear camera is OK i guess but as you said it's blinding at night and has a slight delay. Running a cable on my class C would be a real stinker but maybe in the future I'll get crazy one day and make it happen. Thanks for sharing James.
When I installed my pioneer touch screen 📺 n my Georgetown it had a camera input. But since I already had a large monitor and the cameras were clear I wanted to keep it. So installed a forward facing camera to see in frt of me for parking. Has worked great. I do like this system and may be looking into it for my next R.V.
I'm glad I ran across this video. I've got a 35 foot Class A that only has a back up camera and I absolutely hate it! I was going to put separate side cameras on it for night driving but it looks like what you just installed is miles ahead of that. I have that exact same radio in my rig but it has a different brand name. I'm going to scour Amazon and find a four camera system and install it on my rig. Thanks for the time you put into making this video, it helps me tremendously!
Hi James, funny thing I was just talking with my wife about this very thing. I was having an issue finding just the right system. Thank you. Great Job. I just have to find a suitable monitor.
Awesome video as always James. It's good to know that this can be added as my wife relies on it in her car and really wants it in the coach we get. Good tip on using existing wiring to the rear camera. How do you get access to the wall opposite the shower? I'm sure when I get my bus I will figure it out.
Excellent video. But since you discussed night time, I hope to see a night time shot in the future. Maybe your next RV trip (if at night) some views rolling down the road. I think it would also be helpful to see some Buc-ee's parking lot navigation 😆
Slim chance I can run 4 cables thru my 40’ class-a diesel to the cab area, but will try. But the thermal view you showed made me think, what is your suggestion for a thermal camera? Also, what is best way to located and plug every hole that a mouse would use to get into the RV living space. I’m finding mouse droppings. Thanks!
So, it appears that when it is in 360 view that all cameras are on at the same time showing all sides of the RV at the same time. Is that the case? Great video and thank you for sharing.
You've inspired me. Been sitting on my garmin bc50... I'm thinking I'll run the power wire through roof into the rear AC - put the transmitter under the AC cover. If that works, I'll not have to run anything underneath and I can use the backup camera prep location instead of a license plate mount. Lastly, I may look at mounting some emitters to extend/improve the night vision range, but we'll see what the mock up results look like first.
Really enjoy your insight and your presentation. I know NOTHING about motorhomes but, my wife and I want to try out full-time RV life. Do you have recommendation for a used Class C or Super C for full time living?
Nice upgrade. I still need to replace the Weldex rear camera on my Marquis, but have been putting it off since I will have to cut the closet wall to get to it. It also sits behind the AC power center. 😩
I used a wireless home security system on my motorhome. Everything runs on 12v and i have a monitor above driver seat. 2 cams on rear, one view above the other so i can see from hitch to horizon in rear. 2 cams on pass side i can see from front mirror to horizon on rear. One cam on driver side. Helps a lot at night as well and it records to ssd drive. I used hi gain antenna on the dvr and standard antennas on cams rarely if ever loses video. Dvr in front in top cabinet by driver.
THANKS for this James !!🎉 I've been looking for this type of camera system but did not really like the wireless type, for the reason of bringing in power or having to deal with batteries. Noticed the MPG reading on the dash 3.0 mpg really? Maybe need to clean injectors or is this normal? I would have thought you'd get closer to 6. CHEERS AND SAFE TRAVELS Steve h
Hey James, Have you tried any night time or early morning driving with your new cameras? Great Video, I've been learning a lot from your channel. Thanks for doing all the hard work of documenting/ bringing all of us along with you!
I installed the Tadi Brothers' wireless one, and the calibration is a nightmare. Calibration tape didn't work at all, so I had to try trial and error, and each calibration step takes 10-15 minutes. Months into this, and i still dont have a decent system. A discounted price with an updated monitor was $1700, but at the time it was the only one available that was wireless. I can't see that anyone makes a decent system yet. Now, all the components are available, and I could build one now for about $800, but dont know if the market exists.
I did a follow up video for night performance and the lights onboard did a good job, only the rear has IR but I was impressed. Overall this system works but I would get one that is for trucks or buses, there just aren't many right now.
If you like James' videos, and you want to show him some love, make sure you use the link in the description when you buy this system, or anything else from Amazon! It won't cost you a cent more, but it will help him keep bringing great videos! I bought my Beaver Monterey because of all I learned from this channel, and pretty much all upgrades and repairs have been the result of James' expertise!
Did you do a video on your existing backup camera? I would love to replace my existing backup camera and old crt. Mine is on my 1998 holiday rambler endeavor 37cds - the crt or camera is junk after all these years. Really need to get a feel for what parts to pick up. great videos - I watch & like them all 😀
no, it's basically the same way I wired this rear camera, just used a cheap RV camera and monitor from the internet and made a mount using angle aluminum.
James do you have any tricks to fix a ripped slide seal? I have a 2008 Lance truck camper with a slide. I opened the slide when the camper wasn't level. It ripped the slide seal. Lance can't help and I can't find the seal anywhere. Please help.
@@AZExpert That's sad. I believe the Tadi bros one you can upload at least the overhead image. If not, I'll drive the fire truck pic. If you can see their file system, maybe it's possible to find their top images and swap yours in?
James, how is your rear axle weight on that coach with a big caterpillar and 4000 Allison transmission? Most coaches I’ve seen with that big engine and the larger transmission are tag. Axle coaches.
Thank you, my camera is not very good at night 2014 winnabego sightseer. Don’t know if it’s a original camera. May upgrade, researching it. I really enjoy all you postings. How does your cameras show an Ariel view with 4 cameras
Really nice job! --- QUESTION -- Is it possible to install adaptive cruise control on a 2007 Country Coach Magna or a Beaver? I assume that they don't have that feature.. But can it be installed? How about lane keep assistance and some of that advanced driver aids?
I have no doubt a system could be added much like the mobile eye, I cannot say I find any of those systems to be enjoyable enough for me and the adaptive cruise with an engine brake is frustrating sometimes. But many monacos and a few country coaches should have the Vorad system which was adaptive cruise and blind spot warning
@@AZExpert ...well thank you for that. I did not know about the Vorad system on Country Coach, but will look for it. Looking for a pre Def Magna like a 2007 in excellent shape (like the ones shown by Premium RV). Hopefully they have the adaptive cruise in 2007 as that would be perfect. Do you know if it could bring you to a stop in traffic and start going again once traffic started to move?
@@AZExpert ..wish I had gotten that Contessa that you and Andrew showed but I am sure it sold fast. Any idea what it eventually sold for.. the one that was like new inside and had that espresso coffee maker.. (The only problem was some small paint wearing on one side_)
Great video as always, Sir! We will soon be following your lead, I've always thought dash cams should be standard on all vehicles, now I feel the same about bird's eye! You mentioned the system you linked to had "different side cameras". Could you elaborate, please?
rydeen makes high quality cameras - add a dedicated screen and you can have it on all the time. aftermarket - I have a brand new 360 in the box from rydeen
How did you run the wires James. On the side cameras where did you run the wires. Thru a cabinet? I know you said behind the frig on one side. What about the other?
@@AZExpert Ah how much ground clearance do you have with them inflated? Are the bottom panels halfway up the tires? I’ve noticed some are and some aren’t. Country Coach in particular are quite low. This is a major factor for me because I expect to boondock the majority of the time.

Its ironic you just made this video... I just did something very similar in a few ways to my 33 ft Newmar Class A. I took Harbor Freights 8 channel 4 cam DVR survelence system name Cobra and installed the 4 cams and a 24" monitor up where the orig tube type tv was above driver and passenger seats overhead. I have the same head unit as you only branded by Boss not whatever company yours it but I also know it sell under another name too I cant remember but they are all the same just with different startup logos and logos on the screen. They have a 8 and a 10" model. But more of the similar is I taped into the rear camera factory wiring to get signal for new rear cam like you and I am trying to get the screen I have in monitor which serves as a security cam all 4 sides when parked I want the feed to be on the head unit while driving and use as a dash cam for all 4 views that way and all wired without lag etc. Only issue I have now is only RCA input for head unit when my DVR unit only has VGA and HDMI output. So I am researching a converter which they seem to make for both hdmi and vga. I think I prefer the hdmi but where I alread have hdmi for the larger overhead monitor I installed I would also need to Y that signal then convert... Where maybe if I can use the VGA if it outputs to both at the same time or at least easily switchable in the menu I wouyld get vga to rca and be able to keep them both plugged in and not have to switch each time I drive. Plus having the overhead large while driving is great for any passengers in the back to keep and eye on the surroundings and be 2nd, 3rd or 4th sets of eyes possiblly preventing a issue.
Not that I have seen or found or trust, and they would either be wired to power or have batteries that would need constant charging or eye sore solar panels
Proprietary equipment willl likely break. I would rather use standardizef IP cameras and dvr with AI detection. Hooked into home assistant. Simulate activity when someone is approaching yoir rig.
I've never had a smart home camera system not have app failure, connectivity issues, needs for constant upgrades and just a means to sell a monthly video storage fee and every RV camera is already proprietary, if anything they are more robust than anything for residential use.
@@AZExpertThe difference: once your cat 6 cables are run, you can upgrade/replace the cameras & DVR and use the same cables. Same stuff used at home so no need learning/maintaining disparate systems.
Man, the level of reverse engineering involved. I hope it works, forever. Because it’s going to be a pain to fix! Thanks for the video, hoping entrepreneurs watch it and make a great product!
Sent you an email a couple weeks ago regarding residential refrigerator. Wondering if you received it? Or could you shoot me your contact info? Thanks...
Hard to believe there is no aftermarket system for an RV... That would be a great upgrade for any older RV. Great Job!
I suspect they will be an emerging product shortly because they really are so useful.

I like the way the graphics has an SUV in the center.
I did watch the whole video. I always do. The replacement he was talking about was HTMI only. The one I was referring too also had RCA.
Hi James. Great video. I need to make this upgrade to my ‘07 Navigator. Also….Ive noticed that like me, you always have an XL Polar Pop from circle K in the background. It really is the best deal with the rewards or sip save program…just had to point that out. Hahaha. Thanks for sharing. 👍
they discontinued the sip and save :(
As usual, amazing execution of your RV Upgrade!
I've been looking for a system for my 2003 Beaver Monterey. Much appreciated for this video. 👍
Its not the best, but the price is good enough for a proof of concept especially when most RVs that come with this are +$600k
Great nice and clean install. took just under a hour.
Thank you, that's the beauty of editing, this was a lot more work than I was expecting. :)
Great job James.
Thanks James, very helpful
I like your upgrades. Thanks for the updates been thinking about doing similar on my 2015 Berkshire 40RB
👍 I was just looking into these for my Class C T1N View. Thanks, nice job.
You are one clever dude.
Awesome video as always James. It's good to know that this can be added as my wife relies on it in her car and really wants it in the coach we get. Good tip on using existing wiring to the rear camera. How do you get access to the wall opposite the shower? I'm sure when I get my bus I will figure it out.
Nice Job! Really enjoyed the video! 😁👍
Thank you! 😁
A tech helper asst would simplify for sure
Excellent video.
But since you discussed night time, I hope to see a night time shot in the future. Maybe your next RV trip (if at night) some views rolling down the road. I think it would also be helpful to see some Buc-ee's parking lot navigation 😆
Great video.
Been looking at cameras for my daily driver and this looks promising.
Thanks!
I enjoyed this episode hopefully the algorithm does too 😎
So, it appears that when it is in 360 view that all cameras are on at the same time showing all sides of the RV at the same time.
Good job James.
Nice upgrade. I still need to replace the Weldex rear camera on my Marquis, but have been putting it off since I will have to cut the closet wall to get to it. It also sits behind the AC power center. 😩
It should be fairly accessible but I understand
Good idea, good job. 👍
Thanks for the video.
You are welcome!
I have a 2024 Ford Territory Titanium with an existing 360 camera system, can I add an add on dash camera to the existing 360?
Awesome upgrade, wish I had at least a backup camera.
I have not, just finished the installation before heading out of town last week.
@AZ Expert Does this camera system has parking mode with motion detection?
I installed the Tadi Brothers' wireless one, and the calibration is a nightmare. Calibration tape didn't work at all, so I had to try trial and error, and each calibration step takes 10-15 minutes. Months into this, and i still dont have a decent system. A discounted price with an updated monitor was $1700, but at the time it was the only one available that was wireless. I can't see that anyone makes a decent system yet. Now, all the components are available, and I could build one now for about $800, but dont know if the market exists.
Thx, learned a lot had no idea. 🍻
Glad to hear it!
About Night Vision on your 360 system - Did you test using IR emitters ? Do the cameras even have the ability to see IR ?
I did a follow up video for night performance and the lights onboard did a good job, only the rear has IR but I was impressed. Overall this system works but I would get one that is for trucks or buses, there just aren't many right now.
If you like James' videos, and you want to show him some love, make sure you use the link in the description when you buy this system, or anything else from Amazon! It won't cost you a cent more, but it will help him keep bringing great videos! I bought my Beaver Monterey because of all I learned from this channel, and pretty much all upgrades and repairs have been the result of James' expertise!
Thanks for that!
Did you do a video on your existing backup camera? I would love to replace my existing backup camera and old crt. Mine is on my 1998 holiday rambler endeavor 37cds - the crt or camera is junk after all these years. Really need to get a feel for what parts to pick up. great videos - I watch & like them all 😀
I’ve got 2000 HR Vacationer I would love to do this.
no, it's basically the same way I wired this rear camera, just used a cheap RV camera and monitor from the internet and made a mount using angle aluminum.
James where can I get the tool for finding the frame in the RV the wall.
amzn.to/4dgk8YF
😮Thanks James. I learn a lot from your videos.
James do you have any tricks to fix a ripped slide seal? I have a 2008 Lance truck camper with a slide. I opened the slide when the camper wasn't level. It ripped the slide seal. Lance can't help and I can't find the seal anywhere. Please help.
Dude! I cannot believe you drill holes in that Beaver. I was cringing. lol
same
Awesome vid thanks! At 3:47 it shows an RV roof in the 360 view. How did you solve this issue?
I didn't that was a different RV that inspired me.
The knob do I have to put battery
hello great stuff after watching you i bought a 2000 beaver patriot c 12 love it need a litte work how can i get intouch with you
Did I miss the night view?
I didn't have one,
great job
How does your original backup camera work if you tapped into the existing wireing?
The original camera had a harness with 6 wires, the new camera only uses 3 wires each, there is no sound
Thank you, my camera is not very good at night 2014 winnabego sightseer. Don’t know if it’s a original camera. May upgrade, researching it. I really enjoy all you postings. How does your cameras show an Ariel view with 4 cameras
Given the unfortunate increase in theft and vandalism, the sentry mode is great for a little more piece of mind.
I thought Tadi Brothers made bird eyes view system for RV?
How about setting the clock on your new gizmo?
I did its in the setup screen
The camera is just shaped differently, nothing bad looking just a bit bigger, but similar to the Entegra and Newmar camera size.
Nice! I gotta go shopping. Luckily, I have a 16 yo nephew that’s techy-mechanicy.
I wonder if you could put say a 1tb ssd instead of a usb stick.
I don't know the maximum size the system would recognize.
rydeen makes high quality cameras - add a dedicated screen and you can have it on all the time. aftermarket - I have a brand new 360 in the box from rydeen
youll have to send a link, I could not find it
How did you run the wires James. On the side cameras where did you run the wires. Thru a cabinet? I know you said behind the frig on one side. What about the other?
being the shower and into the basement up the frame rail to the dash
Do you anticipate black plastic housings for cameras to become blistering hot in sun making a white housing preferable?
They are cast metal, likely aluminum
No wago connection?
they are not reliable on very small wires
@@AZExpert thank you.
I want one!!!
Why is “the Beave” so low? How can you use it to boondock on anything but totally level ground?
I dumped the air bags
@@AZExpert Ah how much ground clearance do you have with them inflated? Are the bottom panels halfway up the tires? I’ve noticed some are and some aren’t. Country Coach in particular are quite low. This is a major factor for me because I expect to boondock the majority of the time.
Way cool
2016 Forest River Wildcat 29RKP. AMZN generic WiFi 10 ch. NVR with 4 PTZ infrared / floodlight cams, Li-ion powered, charged by mini solar panels when parked, 2TB SSD for 24/7 live recording, Netgear Nighthawk 5G WiFi router, WeBoost cell amplifier, 30’ tele-mast & Yagi antenna. Echo Hub on the entrance wall, Echo Show 15 in the kitchen, and Echo Show 8 in the bedroom for viewing 360° around the camper. NVR is moved to my truck on travel day. Cams are rotated to cover the rear, sides, and blind spots. Truck has 8” LCD and touchpad mouse. All connected to 24 indoor & outdoor cams at home. Still working out kinks to answer Ring doorbell through Alexa Auto in my truck. 🤓 🎥
Thats an interesting setup too. Yep Boss and SSL are same product from what I see, and I expect to replace them every 2 years maybe
Don't they make a wireless camera system?
@@duotronic6451 I appreciate your insight and look forward to seeing this become common. I encourage you to develope a system and get it installed
Man, the level of reverse engineering involved. I hope it works, forever. Because it’s going to be a pain to fix! Thanks for the video, hoping entrepreneurs watch it and make a great product!
It's amazing that tech manufacturers are not yet offering Bluetooth systems with zero latency. It should be coming in the near future.
Oh, and I think yours looks 100% factory. Not jarring or offensive add-on whatsoever. Had you told me it was factory, I would have zero doubts.
Gotta get rid of that SUV template. Otherwise, it's banger.
I'm hoping this inspires the company to add a motorhome or bus overlay with a simple update :)
I know some of them I've seen allow you to take a top down drone picture to replace the default picture.
best thing for an rv tech on vacay is, no tools.
Sent you an email a couple weeks ago regarding residential refrigerator. Wondering if you received it? Or could you shoot me your contact info? Thanks...
I don't think I got it, I am not able to accept work currently. I am sorry.
Tesla will probably start selling FSD kits!
With all of the camera views and the ability to record it could help to reduce your insurance bill.
Instead of clear silicone take a look at Lexel
I don't like it in most of these applications
