I love this stitch. I’m doing a similar stitch for a blanket, with two double ch 2 and sc, then in the next row just put those in the ch 2 space. But your stitch makes it puffier, and I like that. Both my daughters are pregnant, somaybe I’ll use this stitch for the second grandchild. I like the softness of the look.

I love this pattern alot, and it's fast. I will be having 3 babies coming into world around Christmas time 2 boy and I girl. There are a lot of patterns for girls can you do some more for boys and with this pattern like a sweater set or anything you can think of for boys. That pattern would be nice for bibs using cotton. Thank just love you work.

That would depend on the hook size and yarn weight that you use. Based on similar blankets that I’ve made using a 5.5mm hook and #4 yarn I’d say you will need about 500-600 grams of yarn for standard size blanket with border.

I’m making one right now and I chained 111 with a 5.5mm hook and #4 yarn. So far I like the size. It’s not too big or too small.

With #4 yarn I would chain 120. The stitch multiple is 3. I hope this helps
