Glenn mate thank you so much, brand new turner with a set of cheap carbides and a mini lathe but watching you has been all the instruction I've needed to turn a bowl etc. The tip about toolrest placement and tool angle was a lifesaver. thanks mate

Having techniques explained and why them techniques are used is very informative to me as an elderly new starter to woodturning with limited time to join any kind of club this kind of tutorial is really easy to follow even for a plank like me. really helpful videos to watch on how to use carbide tools on the angle, I'm interested to know is it easier to use your round bar tools on the angle rather than the square ones?
