Core engine is built on top of UE4, and you cannot make stand alone games or Steam games, your games lives only within Core platform, and you cannot make profit out of it, so it is useless unless you want to test game concept, learn basics, or to do games just for fun.
The power and features of this engine is head and shoulders above Game Guru and Copper Cube, and so much easier to use than Unity and Unreal Engine. Perfect GUI, visuals and gameplay!

Yeah! If you want to learn game design, it’s really good. I personally use core for quick prototyping and trying out new ideas! Once you are comfortable with working in the 3D environment, then you can transition to learning Unreal Engine or Unity.
@Mr CKD i checked it. you need internet to login to epic games and core. When you start making a game you dont need internet. some basic resources like trees are available without internet. But when you need to add more stuff or if you want to save the game then you need internet. So basically it mostly works with internet.

Core runs well on a system with pretty descent specs. I feel that you can completely work with 8gb ram and GTX 1050 for the minimum
