It'd be neat if this had an automatic pylon turn around a waypoint. So you can punch in coordinates, the plane automatically flies to the waypoint and begins orbiting around the target at a set distance and altitude.
Loitering is easy. Most Autopilots can do it on there own if you don't clear the waypoint.

a Fire controll system would be very usefull taking range from the target from a laser range finder then the Speed from the vehicle and turret rotation and calculation a lead for your gun well only important thing is to keep your sight on the target as stadly as you cann then range it

Nice toy you have there MrNJersey. You know what would be cool as a feature in you C-130 Gunship? A button, where you enter the coordinate of your target, and the plane fall in auto pilot mode, circling the target at a pre established distance (for you to decide) ... where the target is at the center of that circle. That would avoid all the adjustment needed to keep the targets aligned.

To make it better I would add the second biggest cannon next to the auto cannon and a mini gun by the door

Considering how the weapons do damage, my prediction is that the MP meta will be really stealthy and light tank destroyer type vehicles.
Also emergency flares to direct radio targets
It'll likely be a "stealth is OPTIONAL" thing and people will run in with C-4s strapped to ATVS, and duel weilding LMGs lol.

Just set up a pid with a tilt censor. My mate did it on his ac130 and it works great
Now all we need is a microcontroller that makes the aircraft automatically orbit a target and keep it stabilised as it fires. also some kind of lua ballistics computer to calculate the target leading.
give it about a week or 2 and well have ballistic computer

Yo put a mini gun on it and have laser tracking like irl where the guns lock on to targets and will just fire at them

I hope stormworks have like g-force damage and presure damage and it will do player damage and vehicle damage
I hope it gets an armor update and of course engineering update because to be honest, the variety of parts is big but sometimes there is not enough parts to build the thing you want

Loving the dlc so far, but they should add belts for the small machine gun, right now it is almost useless if you want to mount it the the wings of your plane.
Lets hope they do, and maybe some flexible belts for helicopters etc

NJ did they fix stability with multiplayer as far as you've seen? I've been trying to get into the weapons stuff but man, I really couldn't play MP on the old version
MP is much better than it once was, but it’s really dependent on how bad your latency is.
@@okcontent149 last time I tried to start a dedicated server through a gigabit connection it was a pain in the ass for anybody, even locally, to play on the server even though it was getting perfect performance. The way the game deals with latency is very poor even with a physics-based engine. Space engineers is a good example of a game who does it right, but has a much larger team able to do that since the team for storm works is only like four guys

You have to make the autopilot to circle around the waypoint in steady circle and banking angle. And the circle size should either be adjustable or auto adjusted based on the altitude the plane is flying. And of course the auto compensation for the sight based on the plane speed and target distance.
Cant wait to yell "enemy ac-130 above" to other players

The weapons don't work. It says weapons disabled on anything you build. I even subscribed to the nj examples and it wont work.
You need to have bought the DLC and have it enabled in a new save.
