After doing so many parking stalls you acquire "the eye" to make that starting point right on the snap line eliminating the use of time wasted placing shingles. By the time he explains to me why he wants to use shingles I'm already done with a whole row of parking stall lines.but I understand if you only got one parking lot to do with 30 stall and all day to do and 3 guys to spare sure I would put them to do something like that.
I am re-stripping fire lane in the parking lot at my subdivison's pool as a Scout service project. How do you determine the quantity of paint needed? Where do you get the stencils made for the fire lane?
We do big lots, we chain the ends of the stalls - we can see the end of the stall through the sealcoat. Then we boogie, no time to put down those pieces at the end of the stalls just gotta be nice with it
“You might not have a shingle like this, but one off your neighbors house will work”
Dave mate , you’ve done it again , absolute legend, keep up the good work
I do work striping parking lots , we don’t put a shield in the baseline at all, I start every single stole line by feeling all the time!
« You probably don’t have an industrial striper machine like I do, but a good residential paint brush will work just fine. »
Thanks for the video. Me and my dad just bought a 3400 line stripper. Very helpful video. Defiantly going to use the chalk lines and shingles
