I would have started at the other end, then no need to pull machine back and around wet painted line. Pull straight from curb across to next line. Quicker result I would think

. Excellent comment, totally understand your point of view.
The paint that was used in this application, is an MMA sprayable cold plastic with very fast cure time meaning the machine could be pushed over the painted line within a few minutes. If we had been using an air-cured paint we would have definitely used your suggestion. Thanks again.

The edge of the line is not sharp, there is quite a bit of overspray which results in the lines not being as crisp and clean as I would like. Plenty good enough for what is needed, not disputing that, but what causes this overspray (eg @2:08 or @2:26) - was it windy this day, is it just the nature of using the machine (which I get is much faster than other methods)? Is there a different type of paint, or machine setting (eg lowering the nozzle, reducing the spray pressure) or masking up which can eliminate overspray?

Hi Wendy, as shown at 1:00 the LineLazer includes a lid that fits onto the paint tin, preventing paint from spilling out when the machine is being used at an angle. Thanks for the question!

Hi, a tip that many line markers use when applying with a line marking machine is to reduce the air pressure in the tyres. Although this makes it slightly more difficult to push, it allows the LineLazer to navigate across slightly more bumpy surfaces (e.g cobblestones) without negatively affecting the results too much. This used to be my job I’d go around with a guy in a truck and paint stop sing lines and on street parking and I’m glad I’m not doing it anymore it gets really hot doing this job as the paint pails are heavy carrying them in the heat and the machine needs to be constantly resupplied with glass beads that make it reflective it’s a lot of running back and forth basically bicth work at its finest
