a rescue dog will change your life and he/she will love wild camping . I take my Ruby and she loves it. she knows when I start packing that we are off on another adventure and sits by door waiting to go. I've never been wild camping without my dog but I think it would be boring . I don't think I would go without her. get a dog get a tent and get happy.

Thks for the video. It's exactly what I was looking for.
I was doing some camping with my dog and it got somewhat cold outside during the night (6 degrees celcius). I gave my dog a foam mat and some blankets but she was still cold a bit. Obviously my tent is a winter tent so it was pretty much the limit of it. That night, it made me think that I waasn't prepared for somewhat cold temperature camping with a dog. So, thks again for the tips.

Aww no worries, defo recommend the equafleece jumpers. I've also taken to wrapping her in my down jacket once I've taken it off at night. She often ends up on top of it though 😂

13:14 have a look online for vet wrap if you want some really versatile bandages. It's cheap as chips, dries fast, sticks to itself and is so easy to use in a hurry since you can tear off how much you need and it's usually in colours or patterns so easy to spot in the first aid kit 😁

_Aw Xena is lush. One thing you didn't mention about dogs and sheep is its very important to have absolute control over your canine friend because farmers will often exercise their right to shoot any dog they deem as out of control and stressing their stock. Check your Facebook messages when you see this. I will post you some pictures of dog leads I braid from paracord. If you pick some colours and which size/colour clasp you want I'll put you on my list for a free one_

Great vid ! It is VERY important to remember particularly in ie long grass, bush land et TICKS. Ticks themselves do not cause disease but if a tick is infected with a virus or bacterium, then that pathogen can be transmitted through the tick's bite and cause disease in humans (dogs). Tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) is a common tick-borne disease in Europe (along with Lyme borreliosis - Lyme disease.) The most common symptoms of tickborne diseases are: Fever and/or chills: Patients can experience fever at varying degrees and time of onset. Aches and pains: Tickborne disease symptoms include headache, fatigue, and muscle aches. With Lyme disease you may also experience joint pain.😗WORMS - There are four common types of intestinal worms in dogs, they are: roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms. The symptoms of each type of worm vary, as does the way in which dogs can be infected. 👀READ up and do your research on these plus the treatments/ protections for YOU (yes an adult can have problems with BOTH) . 😗Fleas, lice et Good idea is to air your sleeping bag, other materials in the hot sun .. does wonders re bed bugs and et Lastly, when you are aware of livestock around you, you will incur the wrath of the landowner / farmer if your dog is NOT secured on a leash. By law your animal MUST be safely secured.. I grew up on a farm in Cornwall and I can tell you when I was young I actually saw a tourists dog shot when it took off in a field of pregnant cattle.. it could have caused the cattle to abort.. 😗It would NOT respond to the owner re recall et You do NOT want that to happen to your dog.. but you can if such happens end up in serious trouble for not being in control of your dog et 👀
